NEMU RESORT

It was a wonderful stay.It was a hot day, but exploring around by cart while sweating was a lot of fun. After that, we used the Onsen in the Hotel building. There were two types of baths—a milky white one and another bath—and both were very relaxing. The complimentary drinks after the Onsen were also delicious, which made us happy.Dinner BBQ was tough because, as expected, there were lots of insects drawn to the lights and it was very hot. We did the cooking outside but ate indoors, which still took quite a bit of effort. However, the food tasted amazing and the portions were excellent! I would love it if you could offer some catering dinner options other than BBQ as well. Breakfast was beautifully presented, and we enjoyed it with both our eyes and our taste buds.The Room was well stocked with various insect sprays and repellents for bug prevention. The bath area, sink area, and toilet were all spacious and easy to use. Because the sofa is so large, it made the Room feel smaller—so I wondered if it might be okay without it? Though I understand it’s necessary when four people are staying.It was a pleasant surprise that a bag with dog treats and dog supplies was provided and we could take it home. It has been very useful as our walking bag.With such a large garden and wide wooden deck, it was hard to relax outside during the hot season, so we’d like to visit again in a different season.

We stayed at the newly opened Hills Villa. Having our own private cart was a lot of fun—we zipped around in the breeze and felt like kids again.Since it was during summer vacation, there were many families with children, which was lovely to see. I’m sure they’ll make great memories at the pool and crab catching.For dinner, my husband and I chose the standard seafood course, and it was a fantastic choice. It started with a dashi-based soup—perfectly balanced and delicious. Then came a beautiful assortment of small dishes that paired wonderfully with drinks. The lightly sparkling “Zaku” sake was especially good. Next was the meat course, followed by an unforgettable steamed dish with a dramatic smoke presentation. When we opened the lid, there were abalone, shrimp, white fish, seaweed, and vegetables—needless to say, everything tasted amazing and truly impressed us. We finished with simmered fish and a rice dish together. Thank you for the wonderful meal.The Onsen is located in the basement of the Hotel building. I went in around 7:00 a.m., had it all to myself, and my skin felt incredibly smooth—even on the tops of my feet. They also provide MIKIMOTO cosmetics, along with plenty of towels.There were many staff members on site; including those still in training, everyone was professional, friendly, and reassuring.We actually stayed next door at Amanemu as well. Of course the concepts are different, but both are wonderful—I wish guests could use both facilities interchangeably… though that may be unrealistic. My apologies for saying so.
