I was able to stay at a great price by making a last-minute Reservation the day before. It’s conveniently located near the station and faces the shopping street. The room was clean, and I had a comfortable stay. Since I stayed on Sunday, many restaurants were closed, which was a bit disappointing. Byodoin Temple is within walking distance. If I have the chance, I would like to stay at this Hotel again.

We stayed with our 3-year-old child. We booked a twin room, and I think they may have moved the beds closer together. We really appreciated the thoughtful consideration. As others have mentioned, the bathroom area was very clean, and at breakfast the restaurant staff spoke kindly to our child. The front desk staff were also easy to talk to, and we could enjoy Nara-specific ingredients at breakfast (the egg-over-rice was especially delicious). It made for a very comfortable stay. If I had one wish, it would be even better if extra towels were available without an additional fee... but even so, it’s a hotel we’d love to stay at again.

The room was spacious enough for a single room, and I was happy to find a large sofa. The shower had strong water pressure, making it very comfortable to use. Having a kettle and humidifier provided was also helpful. The amenities were standard, but I think women would appreciate having items like lotion or moisturizer available. There was some loud noise at night that caught my attention, but it wasn't disruptive enough to prevent sleep. I had dinner at the restaurant on the first floor of the building. The hospitality from the hostess and staff left a positive impression of this accommodation as an excellent choice. I would love to stay here again!

The Room was clean and conveniently located near the station, making it easy to get around.

I thought it might be noisy because the Self-Defense Forces base is nearby, but it was quiet and I slept well. For dinner I had the hamburger steak; it was very tender and the sauce was delicious. The salad, soup, and dessert were also great. Breakfast was Western-style—thick-cut toast, stew, salad, and a boiled egg—and I was very satisfied. The bath was a jet bath with a TV, which surprised me. I asked a question about parking and they responded politely. All of the staff were kind and it was wonderful overall. This is a hotel I’d like to stay at again when I come to Nara. Thank you very much.

Although it was a No Meals Included stay, we stayed for two nights as a parent and child on the Standard Japanese-Style Room Plan. It is located on a hill with great views. The Japanese-style room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. However, the only downside was that we couldn’t adjust the shower temperature well in the bathroom—it would sometimes get too hot or too lukewarm. Perhaps because there were few guests, it was very quiet from night until morning, and we were able to relax. The parking lot was also large and easy to use. If we have a chance to stay in the Ikoma area again, we would like to try it with meals included next time. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a sunny corner Room with a great view, and thanks to the nice weather we had a wonderfully refreshing time. The night view was perfect as well. The meals were outstanding—we enjoyed fresh duck and boar with no odor at all, delicately seasoned and elegant in flavor. Breakfast also came with many small side dishes, so satisfying that you’ll want seconds of rice; I recommend the plan with both dinner and breakfast included. It seems to be an older building, but once inside it is kept very clean, with no dustiness at all. Everything is well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. The proprietress was also very kind, and I would love to see her again. If you’re sightseeing around Nara Station it may feel a bit far, but the area around this Ryokan offers wonderful views from Mt. Ikoma and lets you enjoy a different side of Nara’s scenery, so I highly recommend it.

I stayed for four nights. It’s close to the station, and you can easily walk to sightseeing spots, but because this is a small Accommodation in a quiet residential neighborhood, it’s also convenient to take a break by strolling around nearby areas like Naramachi and then coming back to rest. The owner was very kind, and every restaurant they recommended was stylish, unique, and delicious. I also loved spending relaxing time reading the books in the shared space. You can freely make and drink coffee in the kitchen as well, which makes you feel like you’re living in Nara. The Accommodation and my Room were thoroughly cleaned and spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in Nara!

We stayed with our dog. Even though he must have been tired from the long trip, as soon as we arrived at the traditional house he happily ran around the hallway and quickly made himself at home. Being able to sleep in the same space as our dog was very reassuring for us as owners. They also provided food bowls and even additive-free treats, and we really appreciated the thoughtful attention for guests traveling with dogs. Our dog doesn’t usually eat many treats, but he seemed to love these and happily munched them up! There was also a dedicated waste bin for pets, so disposing of trash was never an issue. The traditional Japanese atmosphere unique to an old house was wonderful, and the living room was a very relaxing space. Watching our dog stretch out and enjoy himself, we were able to slowly recover from travel fatigue as well. It was a very comfortable Accommodation where you can stay with your dog with peace of mind.

I stayed for one night, and the Room was clean and had a humidifier, so I was able to spend my time very comfortably. You can shop at the shopping street in front of the station, and since it’s about a 5–6 minute walk to the station, it wasn’t a hassle to go out to a convenience store if I needed anything else. Access to Todaiji Temple and the National Museum is also great—they’re within walking distance. As for the Facility amenities, both the bathroom shower and hair dryer are ReFa. The bath is not an Onsen, but the tub water level is preset automatically; it fills all the way up, and when I stretched out my tired legs and soaked in it, the water overflowed and my fatigue just melted away. The bath towels and face towels were thick and fluffy. The towel by the toilet is thin. Refrigerators in Business Hotels often don’t get very cold, but this one gets ice-cold. Beer tastes great as well. There were three cars parked in the parking lot, so I knew there were three other groups staying besides me. Inside, I could occasionally hear faint signs of others, but I never ran into anyone, and it didn’t feel noisy at all at night. There’s also a small bakery right next door that opens from 8:00 a.m., so I bought something there for breakfast. I usually make Reservations at Hotels with a front desk, but choosing this place was truly the right decision. From now on, whenever I go to Nara, I will definitely stay here again.

Completely satisfied. Location, food, Room, and hospitality. Especially the food.

Thank you very much for hosting our family of five. The Room was beautifully and tastefully furnished, kept very clean, and truly wonderful. We also enjoyed the fruit—it was delicious. The owner couple were extremely kind. We traveled with children and a grandmother, but we had no trouble at all and had a great time. Thank you so much for taking care of us even after check-out. I used it for the first time. I got a little lost on the way to the Stays. After arriving, I was taken care of by a person with a wonderful smile, and we had a lively conversation. The overall atmosphere is calm. The meals were all delicious, filled with the chef's special touches. They also changed ingredients for allergies and confirmed before serving, which made me feel at ease. It is a Property I would like to visit again.

We stayed with our 2-year-old child. As I was pregnant, we chose this Hotel because it seemed conveniently located near Nara Park, and we booked a stay with meals included. Dinner was delicious and so generous that we couldn’t finish it. For our 2-year-old, they brought plain rice and furikake first, which made it easy to feed our child. Breakfast was a bit lighter and didn’t quite leave us completely full, but if you plan to eat while sightseeing, it felt just right. It may be a little too light for men. The complimentary water was very helpful. However, it was a large bottle (1.5L? 2L?), so we finished it at the Hotel. There is a 700-yen parking subsidy. Parking near the Hotel often costs over 1,000 yen, but we found a parking lot a little farther away where we could park for 700 yen and used that instead. The Hotel itself is somewhat old, but it was kept very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful.

This was my first stay at Candeo Hotels Osaka Hirakata. Since hotels in central Osaka tend to be pricey, I decided to stay a little farther out and chose this property. The top highlight is definitely the bath. It was very relaxing, and the views and night scenery from the upper floors were wonderful. Including the view from the room, it was a very satisfying stay overall. Next time, I’d love to use the bath around sunset. I also enjoyed breakfast. When we visited, there was a corner where you could sample soy sauces from different regions, and it was memorable to taste how they vary by area. On the other hand, for first-time guests, access to the hotel and finding the entrance can be a bit confusing. Coming from the station or parking area, there were moments when we weren’t sure which route to take. In particular, once the attached commercial facility closes for business hours, it seems that available corridors and entrances become limited. Including restaurant hours as well, it would be reassuring for first-time guests if there were clearer guidance in advance on how to enter/exit at night. If you’re arriving by car, I recommend confirming parking details beforehand. We used the Keihan Parking Station Building parking lot, but at first it wasn’t very clear how partnerships with the hotel work or what conditions apply for discounts. We followed the instructions for reservations/discount procedures as best we could, but I think it’s best to confirm in advance how eligibility works and whether any discount will actually be applied at payment. Despite a few minor concerns, I found this hotel very appealing for spending time relaxing on-site—especially thanks to the bath and views. This was my first visit, but I’d definitely like to stay again if I have another chance. Next time I want to enjoy a long soak while watching the scenery at dusk. Thank you very much.

The parking lot was spacious and easy to park in. The breakfast bread was freshly baked, and even during a Multiple Night Stay, we were happy to have several different types of bread each day. If sparkling water had been available with the evening welcome drink, it might have been even more enjoyable. Since the room access uses a PIN code, it was convenient not having to carry a card or key around.

Everything was impeccable, from the cleanliness of the Facility and the staff’s service to the breakfast. One minor issue: a few long hairs were stuck to the bathroom ceiling. I assume they became airborne while drying and remained there.

I used this accommodation for work and travel in Kyoto (with my family of four). Since accommodations in Kyoto city were expensive, we decided to stay here as we were traveling by car. It takes about 30-40 minutes from Kyoto city, and there is an onsen facility nearby, along with restaurants and supermarkets, which was convenient. The hotel facilities were clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. The parking lot was also large and convenient. Breakfast was great as well. I think I will choose this place again next time.
