The staff were wonderful, and the Room was spotless with a great atmosphere. If I had to mention one thing, the bath is so large that the water cools down quickly, but there is no reheating function... Also, since we ended up with quite a bit of trash, it would be helpful if spare trash bags were provided. We stayed with five family members and one dog, and there was plenty of space. We would love to stay again.

I really loved the interior atmosphere. Our Room was on the second floor, and the view of the fresh green courtyard from the terrace was wonderful—it was truly a lovely Room. Breakfast was also very delicious. All of the staff were kind, which made for a great stay. I would definitely like to visit again.

A foot-wiping towel was provided at the entrance, and we had a wonderful 3-day, 2-night stay—thank you to all the staff for their hospitality. They kindly accommodated our personal requests, and the team’s service—like that of a luxury Hotel concierge—made us feel we’d love to come back again next year. If I had to mention just one suggestion, there is a microwave on the lobby counter, and I would have liked to see a free drink dispenser placed nearby. The service and value for money are outstanding, so even if the room rate were higher, it wouldn’t be an issue at all.

Close to the station, clean, and I was very satisfied with the service. We also enjoyed the welcome drink and breakfast, and I think this price is an excellent value! The male staff member at the front desk was kind and courteous, and I will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

This time, I stayed with my toy poodle. As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, a staff member came right away and helped carry our luggage on a cart, which was very helpful. Everyone at the front desk was kind, and they were gentle with my dog as well. The complimentary treats were a nice touch. The Room had a clean, Western-style feel, and being able to grind coffee beans with the coffee mill made it feel special. There were also snacks prepared for both people and dogs in the Room, which showed great thoughtfulness. The only concern was that the bedding had an animal-like odor that seemed to have soaked in. I would appreciate deodorizing and sanitizing. At the restaurant, every table had space for dogs, so being able to dine together with my dog was truly wonderful for guests traveling with pets, and we were able to enjoy a special time. My dog happily ate the beef menu at dinner, but the next morning didn’t eat it—perhaps because the meat was a bit tough—which was slightly disappointing. Our meals used high-quality ingredients, and we could enjoy even the low-allergen options with peace of mind, though overall they felt slightly lightly seasoned. The freshly baked bread service was well received. For late-night noodles (yonaki soba), I chose the soy sauce flavor. It was delicious. I was also satisfied with the breakfast buffet. However, since the coffee machine brewed one cup at a time, it tended to get crowded; offering coffee in decanters would make it even more convenient. The large public bath was clean and relaxing, and I also appreciated the free ice pop service after bathing. The dog run even had photo spots where we could capture fun memories. Since all guests were traveling with dogs, conversations naturally started among us; it created a very friendly atmosphere with an appeal you can’t experience at an ordinary Hotel. For drinks at the restaurant, I used Kyoryt Maintenance shareholder benefit vouchers. I personally own a small number of Kyoryt Maintenance shares as well, and after experiencing such a wonderful Hotel firsthand, I genuinely felt glad that I bought shares in this company. It ended up being satisfying not only as an overnight stay but also from a shareholder’s perspective. If only the bedding odor could be improved further it would be even more comfortable; aside from that point I was very satisfied overall and would like to stay again with my dog.

This was our first stay, and the Hotel was truly wonderful, just as we had heard. Since we had a Room with a terrace, we were delighted to enjoy the greenery through windows on two sides. Breakfast, tea at the café, and the French dinner were all delicious—we were completely satisfied. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, with just the right sense of distance, and made a great impression. Thanks to them, we were able to relax completely. We definitely want to stay again and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Above all, the dinner we enjoyed here was so outstanding it left us speechless. Every dish was exquisitely seasoned, a true testament to craftsmanship that lets flavor speak for itself. The view of Mount Asama from the Room was deeply calming, and the lively birdsong drifting through the trees made a particularly memorable harmony.

We were blessed with great weather and enjoyed many activities, including tennis, golf, the Onsen, shopping, and walks. The Hotel staff were very attentive, and we were extremely satisfied. Personally, I’m looking forward to our plans for autumn and to seeing how the large-scale renovation of Karuizawa Prince develops in the coming years. I stayed here on the recommendation of an acquaintance who has visited Karuizawa many times. It was just a few minutes’ walk to Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza, so it was very convenient for exploring the area. The Room and the large public bath were both spacious, clean, and comfortable, and I really enjoyed both meals—they were delicious. I requested the Shuttle Service, and the vehicle was clean and the ride was excellent. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. If I had to mention one thing, it would have been even more comfortable if the TV supported network features. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Karuizawa.

I stayed here because of its convenient location for enjoying a concert at Ohga Hall. This Hotel has a quiet atmosphere that lets you feel Karuizawa’s history. Thanks to the kind and attentive service from the staff, I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. Thank you very much. However, I felt that seniors should be careful of the step in the bathroom.

I felt it was a classic, charming old Japanese Hotel. The building’s presence, the restaurant, the guest rooms, and the interior were all wonderful. I stayed on a Plan with breakfast and dinner included. The food was just as delicious as what you’d find at Hotels in Tokyo, and they kindly accommodated my dietary dislikes so I could fully enjoy the meals. All of the staff provided excellent service, and I felt everything throughout my stay was great. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

It was a very comfortable space, and there were bathrooms with a sauna and jet bath on both the 1st and 2nd floors, so two families could use them without hesitation. There were also thoughtful provisions that made it possible to cook for ourselves, allowing us to enjoy a very fulfilling stay. Thank you very much.

I arrived early and they kindly stored my luggage, and from that moment until I left, the warm and welcoming service truly touched me. The French-style Room was charming and tastefully decorated, so it’s easy to see why the Reviews are so highly rated. And the breakfast served in the Room was absolutely delicious—I was thrilled! Everything was carefully prepared, and I especially remember the oval potatoes that were hollow inside. The potage soup and salad were also excellent. I would love to stay at Primavera again for a truly relaxing getaway.

We stayed here to celebrate my son’s birthday. My family and I have visited many times since this place first opened, so I was surprised to see the monument marking its 25th anniversary! The property is beautifully maintained and spotless, as if time has stood still, and the hospitality was warm—making our trip truly enjoyable. My son was thrilled with the maisonette-style Room. Thank you as well for preparing a birthday message plate at dinner. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious.

I recently stayed for the second time, and it was truly a wonderful Hotel. In addition to the comfortable atmosphere throughout the property and the delicious meals, what impressed me most was the thoughtful attention of all the staff. This trip also served as a celebration of my daughter’s pregnancy, and they kindly prepared separate menu options for her, so we could relax and enjoy our meals with peace of mind. We stayed with 4 people and 1 dog. The Room was odor-free, and we barely heard any other dogs, making it very comfortable. It would be nice to have a few more amenities. There was a note about limitations on the bathwater, but it turned out to be fine. Thank you!

I have stayed here about five times over the past few years. When visiting Karuizawa, I enjoy staying at this well-located Hotel as well as other Hotels I’m interested in, and exploring areas from Karuizawa to Komoro. The access is convenient, and it’s great that within Old Karuizawa you can easily walk to nearby places and shops you’re curious about. Also, you can buy your favorite ingredients and do simple cooking in your Room, or enjoy takeout. I am very satisfied with the clean, tidy Room. The staff also respond properly whenever something is needed. I would like to stay again.

I stayed here again, as I did last year. This time, I split my stay into two parts: 2 nights and then 3 nights—first on the east side, and the last 3 nights on the west side. The west side is better. I plan to stay here again next year.

Standard Double (Non-Smoking) – 1 Night This was my second stay. I had been checking availability for months because I really wanted to stay at this Hotel. It’s close to the station and very clean. The bicycle rental is also a great feature. I was also very happy that there is a relaxing floor on the second floor where you can get drinks! I picked up amenities in front of the front desk and checked in. The front desk staff were very kind and courteous, which reminded me again what a great Hotel this is. Even though I stayed alone, the Room was very spacious and spotless! There was plenty of space to move around even with my suitcase open. I could relax comfortably with the large TV, big table, and sofa. I thought it would be nice to have a mirror in the Room so I could do my makeup in good lighting. (Was there a mirror provided? I looked for one but couldn’t find it.) I rented a bicycle, and it was cheaper than renting elsewhere. The bikes were newer than they were a few years ago and easier to ride. When I visit Karuizawa again, I’d love to stay at this Hotel!

This was a repeat stay following last year. Last year, the Room felt slightly more spacious, so I assumed it had been upgraded. This time, it was the Room I reserved, but it didn’t feel cramped at all. I rented a massage chair and a foot massager, so the area around the desk became difficult to walk through, but that was on me and not an issue. I was able to relax. I was also impressed by the number of power outlets. I also enjoyed breakfast at a leisurely pace—it was delicious. Thank you very much.
