We had a truly wonderful stay. We stayed for two nights with our 1-year-old daughter. Dinner and breakfast were included, and the food was outstanding. They thoughtfully accommodated our child’s meals, taking her egg allergy and the size of the ingredients into consideration, and she was very happy. The staff also looked after her throughout, so we could enjoy our meal with peace of mind. The Room has special touches that help you forget the busyness of everyday life. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy an extraordinary experience we don’t usually get to have. We would love to return again next time.

The hospitality and the restaurant cuisine were outstanding in every respect. Their attentive, courteous communication before our stay left a strong impression, and on the day of our visit, everyone—from the seasoned staff to the younger team members—provided genuinely pleasant service. If you want a reliably excellent experience in Karuizawa, HIRAMATSU is without doubt the place to choose.

We stayed for one night and two days on the senior Plan with two meals included. We received a call in advance to confirm a few details, and the staff member was extremely courteous, which raised our expectations and made us look forward to our stay. Those expectations were fully met: throughout our visit, the service from all staff—at the front desk, restaurant, and elsewhere—was wonderful, natural, and never overbearing. Thanks to you, my spouse and I enjoyed a truly comfortable stay together for the first time in a while. The Facility was clean, the meals were very satisfying, and we felt it was excellent value. I had a very comfortable stay! There may have been a few minor housekeeping issues, but the Room and the Hotel overall were clean. I was very satisfied with the meals as well! The Onsen in our Room was spacious, and it was relaxing to see greenery through the window. I also used the large public bath once; it had an open-air bath, ReFa hair dryers, and a drink bar in the changing area, which was a nice touch. We stayed in a dog-friendly Room, and it was very clean with no odor at all, so we were very comfortable. Since we had a Multiple Night Stay, I would have been happy to receive dog treats and water on the second day as well. I also couldn’t find any pet toilet sheets. The Nespresso and Mikado Coffee provided in the Room were much appreciated. Breakfast offered a great variety, and the dishes, juices, and fruit were all delicious. Next time, I’d like to visit when the weather is nice.

To all the staff at Karuizawa Club Hotel 1130, thank you as always for your kind support. My family has stayed here many times over the past few years, and this time we were finally able to make a Reservation for the Premium Family Suite Room we had long hoped for, so we stayed yesterday. As its name suggests, it was the highest-grade Room among the many Rooms at Karuizawa Hotel 1130. There was an open-air jacuzzi bath on the balcony, and two indoor baths inside as well. There were also two restrooms, and four separate rooms in total—one of them a bedroom with a skylight that lets you gaze up at the sky. Because every space was so luxurious, my whole family was thrilled the moment we stepped into each room. We had reserved Japanese kaiseki at Yamaboshi well in advance, but it was changed to a buffet Plan. Just like in Hewitt Resort’s TV commercial, the buffet venue was beautiful and the selection was extensive. From the live kitchen at dinner to freshly made rice balls at breakfast, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were all courteous and kind, which helped us greatly. We also visited the open-air bath at Onioshi Onsen; it had been renovated and made it easier to access directly from the indoor bath area. We will be staying one more night later this month as well, and we are looking forward to enjoying the same Premium Family Suite Room again. Each time we stay, this wonderful Hotel continues to evolve even further—and it has become our family’s favorite. I hope other guests can experience that same sense of excitement too. I visit Sugadaira every summer, so I check early, but I can never get a Reservation. This time I happened to get one, so it was my first stay. The area around the Hotel is very quiet, and the view from the Room is wonderful. After soaking in the Onsen, my skin stayed moisturized for a while. Everyone—the front desk staff and restaurant staff—was very pleasant and welcoming, and I had a truly enjoyable time. The buffet made great use of fresh vegetables and was thoughtfully prepared rather than relying on cheap pre-made sauces. It was delicious. Since it’s so hard to secure an Accommodation Reservation here, I’d come just for the meal alone. There were also many thoughtful touches: a sheet listing the names of the mountains visible from the Room window, places to hang clothes throughout the Room (probably for winter ski wear), a towel for wiping around the washbasin, and a cube-shaped power strip with five outlets. It’s a Hotel with great attention to detail. If I can get another Reservation, I would definitely like to stay again.

This was my first time staying at this Hotel. The front desk staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious—I was very satisfied. Just one thing: coffee was provided in the morning, but it was a coffee drink rather than brewed coffee, which was a little disappointing. Still, considering everything overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money. Thank you very much.

Dogs can take a relaxing stroll in the spacious garden. It was reassuring to be able to keep an eye on them, and we also enjoyed the setup where they could feel like they were having a bath. On top of that, dogs stay for free—truly appreciated. The bedding was very comfortable, and the kitchen with a view of the TV was spotless; everything was so clean that we’d love to come again. I almost don’t want it to become too popular after posting this, but it’s an Accommodation I highly recommend. We had no trouble shopping nearby either.

I chose this Accommodation because I was very interested in the open-air bath accessed by the mountain railway. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up using it three times during my stay. Since it was Monday right after the holiday period, it was very quiet, which was great. The Facility has the charm of a classic Onsen Accommodation, and the guest rooms have been beautifully renovated, making it extremely relaxing. I would love to stay again.

It was a quiet, standalone Accommodation. All the staff were pleasant, and the food was very delicious. I also liked that they used Okura China coffee cups (perhaps because there is an Okura outlet in Karuizawa). The Room consisted of two rooms—a bedroom and a Japanese-style room—unified in beige tones, giving a neat and clean impression. There were two open-air baths, which seemed like they may have originally been private open-air baths for guest rooms. They were hinoki-wood baths with plenty of hot water. However, it seemed I was the first to use them that day, so the water was extremely hot and I couldn’t soak for long. The large public bath was also free-flowing from the source and had a more comfortable temperature than the open-air baths. Dinner was Western-style. Everything was delicious, including the seaweed salad, assorted terrines, grilled char (meunière), and roast beef. Breakfast was Japanese-style. Overall it’s a good Hotel, but perhaps due to the location there were many stink bugs. There were about 10 dead ones on the window frame in my Room, and I felt they probably weren’t from that day. Also, I noticed some staining on the washbasin. If these two points are improved, I think it would be an even better Hotel. Overall, it’s a Hotel I would like to visit again.

The area is surrounded by a few houses and lots of trees, creating a very relaxing space where you can forget about your daily life. Highly recommended for those who want to spend time leisurely in nature. The kitchen utensils are sufficiently equipped, so you won't have trouble cooking. The hand soap provided was from diptyque, allowing us to enjoy its fragrance. As for the sauna and Onsen, we were extremely satisfied. Turning off the lights revealed a starry sky, which was truly moving. Since there were no fences, you could sit comfortably, and the nearby trees allowed us to feel close to nature. The disappointing aspects were the limited cooking ingredients, the towels having a damp smell, which was slightly unpleasant, and the showerhead being broken, making it difficult to use. It would be better if the amenities were more well-prepared. Nonetheless, I would love to visit again! Regarding the price, it was a bit disappointing that despite making an early Reservation, there was a last-minute discount on the official website, making it about 5,000 yen cheaper.
