I recently stayed at Hotel Foresta Chokai.
Above all, the staff were incredibly kind, and I had a very comfortable stay. From the moment I arrived, they took great care of me, and it’s the kind of wonderful hotel that makes you think, “I want to stay here again.”
The room was comfortable, and the setting—surrounded by nature with views that let you truly feel Mt. Chokai—was fantastic. The famous Hottai Falls is also nearby and easy to reach by car, so it’s a great place to enjoy sightseeing along with your stay.
And most of all, the hot springs were amazing!
The open-air bath was especially relaxing, and I was happy to hear that guests can use the private family bath free of charge as well.
I enjoyed the hot springs at night, and by chance it was quiet during the first-bath hours in the morning too, so I went again. Being able to enjoy them both at night and in the morning made me feel like I got an extra-special experience.
This is a warm and welcoming hotel where you can relax in beautiful natural surroundings, enjoy excellent hot springs, and be treated kindly by everyone on staff.
I really loved my stay this time and would definitely like to visit again.
