Thanks to the warm and courteous service, I felt at ease throughout my stay. The location is very convenient if you are traveling by car. For guests arriving by train, a Shuttle Service was also available to Shimoda Station. Because I have many food allergies, I chose a Plan without meals. However, the Accommodation staff kindly recommended local restaurants, and we were fortunate to get a Reservation. I was able to enjoy an outstanding simmered kinmedai (splendid alfonsino), which was absolutely delicious. The young international staff were wonderful as well—their smiles were lovely, their Japanese was excellent, and they worked with great dedication. As someone who can only speak Japanese comfortably, I truly respect them. The bath was also fantastic: the Izu stone in the indoor bath glowed a beautiful blue, and its soft texture felt very pleasant on the skin. The night view of Shimoda Port and the sunset outside the window were stunning. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

Because it was a three-day weekend right at the start of summer vacation, it ended up a little over our original budget—but we wanted to stay here so badly that we made the Reservation anyway. And once we actually stayed… it was worth every yen—no, even more than that. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The location was even better than expected: right in front of us were white sand and a blue sea. There were quite a few families and international guests, but at night it was very quiet. You can head straight to the beach from the Hotel, and everything was thoughtfully prepared—dedicated beach sandals, a washing machine, towels, and more. I also really appreciated that when you take off your slippers there, you can place them neatly into a shoe box labeled with your Room name—something I found especially reassuring as someone who’s a bit particular about cleanliness. The Room was truly spacious, spotless, and very functional. Everything felt refined from corner to corner—the washbasin, furnishings, wall colors, decorations—all beautifully coordinated and calming. A small detail, but the loungewear fabric was very soft and had buttons so it stayed in place comfortably. The semi-open-air bath in the guest room had excellent water quality and temperature. Being able to soak slowly while looking out at the ocean—with no insects flying around—was pure bliss. We enjoyed our in-room meals while chatting pleasantly with our attendant; everything was delicious. The simmered whole kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) was especially impressive—large and full of flavor—truly “this is Izu!” That said, personally I would have preferred beef as steak (even a small portion) rather than chilled shabu-shabu wrapped with vegetables. If many guests are older adults, it would be great if there were an option available even with an additional charge. Breakfast included many dishes as well—I ended up eating quite a lot first thing in the morning! Overall this Accommodation deserves high marks across the board; if I had to be strictly critical, dinner alone could have felt slightly more luxurious or surprising—something that makes you think “This is exceptional—I’ve never tasted anything like it.” Even so, it was such a wonderful Accommodation that I absolutely want to return again next year. The meals are delicious and feel worth more than their price. Additionally, the staff's service is excellent. In particular, the female staff member who attended to us during dinner was attentive and thoughtful, making our dinner very pleasant. I am grateful for her service

We stayed here for a family trip. This Accommodation is located in a small port town and has been beautifully renovated, with warm wooden touches and stylish, coordinated furniture and appliances. The futons were Airweave and very comfortable to sleep on. The toilet and shower room were also clean and well designed, making them comfortable to use. There was an outdoor space to hang swimsuits and other items, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was soup and bread—just the right amount. We were told the soup uses local vegetables. The parking entrance is quite steep, so cars with lowered suspension may scrape. Overall, it made for a great Izu trip, and it’s an Accommodation we’d like to visit again.

The stairs from the parking lot to the building were quite numerous, and with all our luggage, it was challenging to carry everything in one trip. However, the breathtaking view in front of the building made up for it. Although there were no curtains and the west sun shone through, waking up to such a stunning view and witnessing the beauty of the sunset was an unforgettable experience unique to this place. We enjoyed using the BBQ facilities on both nights of our stay. Bugs were not much of an issue, and we had a delightful dinner outdoors. The sheets and duvet covers were very clean with a linen-like texture that felt wonderful against our skin. Although there were no curtains allowing sunlight to stream in, the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us comfortable throughout our stay. We also appreciated that eco-friendly products like detergent and shampoo were provided. We would love to visit again! It was truly a memorable stay.

We stayed with our dog. Despite the unfortunate weather, we were able to create wonderful memories. The Wi-Fi signal was a bit unstable in the bathroom and at the back of the loft, which was slightly concerning.

I had been feeling worn out, so I made a same-day Reservation because I wanted to soak in the Onsen. Since it was a weekday, I was able to relax and enjoy the Onsen at a leisurely pace. Even though it was reasonably priced, dinner felt luxurious—there was simmered golden eye snapper, which really impressed me. Everything was delicious, and I felt refreshed. The staff were also kind and helpful. Thank you very much.

The sunset and sunrise were absolutely wonderful. The Onsen was also very nice. Even after we got close to the Accommodation, we couldn’t find it and had to look around. Since the Accommodation wasn’t listed on our car’s navigation system, we asked a local and were able to find it.
