We enjoyed a peaceful lake, soothing birdsong, and time that felt like a world away from everyday life.

The Room I stayed in was very clean! The brochures on the desk were neatly arranged, and the bathroom was also spotless! It felt great when I entered the Room. Also, the shared kitchen was nice.

Every year, I take a solo trip on my birthday, and this year I visited the Oki Islands for the first time. I made a last-minute Reservation while watching the weather forecast, but I was able to enjoy the Rosoku Island cruise in perfect weather. The Hotel may feel a bit dated, but it was spotless and well maintained, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious no matter what I tried. The large rock oysters paired perfectly with sake, making it an incredibly luxurious trip.

I had a relaxing stay! The front desk staff’s smile and service were excellent!

We were very satisfied with the views, the meals, and the staff’s service. Cold water was available before and after bathing, and the Room was kept very clean. There were some insects floating in the open-air bath, but that is to be expected at an Accommodation in the mountains; anyone who complains about it has forgotten that they are in nature. We would like to stay again.

I stayed for one night this time. The building exudes a full sense of a white resort, and the interior was very comfortable. It was a unique experience at the Hotel, with villas nestled in the forest and a terrace offering views of the sea through the garden. White peacocks appeared in the garden, which was truly impressive. The meals were exceptionally delicious, clearly showcasing attention to quality ingredients. I would love to visit again.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. The three of us—my 92-year-old mother, my husband, and I—found and chose this Accommodation online, and everything was excellent. We were able to relax in the renovated Japanese-style Room and bedroom. Although it is an Accommodation where you can stay with your dog, it felt very clean, and it seemed that every corner was thoroughly cleaned. The meals were also very delicious, and the boat platter was more than we could finish. It was disappointing that we couldn’t go cruising due to the typhoon, but since it was before summer vacation there were no crowds, we could get around smoothly, and we fully enjoyed a wonderful trip to Izu. Thank you again. We would love to stay here again.

Aoki Ryokan is a charming blend of Western and Japanese styles, with its blue roof and distinctive design—an Accommodation that gave me a great feeling even before I stepped inside. Fresh flowers were casually arranged throughout, the floors were spotless, and everything was impeccably clean. Perhaps because it is an old Ryokan, the atmosphere felt wonderfully balanced and calm. I usually suffer from insomnia when staying away from home, but here I felt completely at ease and slept very deeply—something that surprised even me. I also enjoyed listening to the proprietress’s stories (including one about Kunio Inatani, a pioneer of skiing in Japan) and savoring meals filled with mountain vegetables. It was truly relaxing both physically and mentally. As this is a historic Ryokan, old tools once used are also displayed; I was especially struck by the large saw used to cut ice from Lake Onuma, which made me imagine how demanding that work must have been at the time. We stayed as a family with our 3-year-old and 1-year-old grandchildren. Dinner featured an abundant selection of seafood, all fresh and delicious, and both my wife and daughter were very satisfied. Being able to enjoy the meal at a relaxed pace in our Room helped the children stay calm, and we were able to spend unhurried time together as a family. In addition, we are truly grateful to the staff member who was very kind to the children and proactively supported us. Thanks to that, we felt at ease throughout our stay. This Accommodation is highly recommended for families. *There are rental bicycles near the Accommodation, and it was also a wonderful memory being able to cycle down to the seaside in the morning to take photos. We enjoyed quiet Kamakura in the early morning—it was such a refreshing time.* Thank you very much.

At check-in, the parking guidance did not seem to run very smoothly. The guidance was not in time, and several cars were waiting in front of the Hotel. Although an overflow parking area was provided, some guests left their cars where they were and went to check in, which caused congestion in front of the Hotel. Considering traffic flow, I would have preferred to be directed to the parking area first.

Amenities for all 10 of us were provided, allowing us to enjoy a relaxing morning bath. The sauna was also a highlight—3 adults used it at once with plenty of room to spare, so we ended up staying longer than expected. Although the parking is listed as fitting three cars, it

I stayed for one night. The Facility was clean, and the place was very spacious—with a 1st-floor living room, a 2nd-floor bedroom, and a rooftop—so I could relax a lot. As for the “bugs” others mentioned, I don’t think they were much of an issue. (That said, there are some, so if you really hate bugs, please be aware.) The Room had an electric insect repellent and insect spray provided, and I felt they did what they could to be considerate. Self check-in was clear and easy. Regarding the shower partition: it’s true there isn’t one, but I was able to use it without soaking the sink area. There was no drain odor either. If I could suggest one improvement, the Room Wi-Fi was a bit unstable and it made working on my laptop slightly difficult. Mobile reception is also somewhat weak in this area, so Wi-Fi is essential—if possible, I’d appreciate improvements. (This is why I rated the Facility 4 stars.) Overall I’m very satisfied and think it’s great value for money. Next time I’d like to stay in a different Room too!

This Facility offers the perfect trio: Onsen, delicious cuisine, and beautiful views. There is also a Shuttle Service from the station, as well as activities such as early-morning walks, making it highly recommended for solo travelers looking to relax and unwind. I keep coming back.

We visited with 5 adults and 2 dogs. The stylish exterior and beautiful interior were impressive. The food was incredibly elaborate and delicious. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the bonfire due to the rain, so we're looking forward to it next time. It would be even better if there were a comfortable sofa in the Room.

This was my third visit to Itoshima, the first in two years. Last time, after heavy rain the day before, it suddenly turned into a midsummer day, and the breathtaking sunset—changing moment by moment against the vast ocean—was truly moving. I enjoyed delicious food and the relaxed pace that only an all-inclusive stay can offer. This time had a different atmosphere and some changes. Arriving in a downpour with luggage, I climbed the stone steps to check in. What surprised me right away was “10:00 checkout”! I never expected it to be an hour earlier—maybe a pitfall of being a repeat guest? I was told it was changed because lunch service starts at 11:00 with reservations… but 10:00 still feels far too early. Since we spend about four hours round trip for an overnight stay, we want to relax as much as possible. If possible, I hope you will consider setting check-in to 16:00 and returning checkout to 11:00—I would be glad if this request from repeat guests reaches you. This time we dined while watching the post-rain evening scenery, and the food was just as delicious as ever—I was very satisfied. The soup course in particular had wonderful Japanese dashi flavor and was deeply comforting, and the tempura made from fresh squid (prepared after sashimi) was especially appreciated; as someone who loves cooking at home, having a professional fry dishes is a real treat. It was also disappointing not to see any of the staff members from previous visits. The photo shows “Itoshima Bay—an evening view after the rain.”

The machiya-style Accommodation was wonderful. The bathroom was clean and easy to use, and the bed was fluffy, so I slept very well. The sea is nearby, and the quiet, charming streetscape made it a relaxing place to stay. The stairs were steep and a little scary, but it also added to the machiya atmosphere, which I appreciated.

Over the New Year holiday, my parents-in-law and we as a couple traveled all the way to Okinawa and stayed for 2 nights as a group of four. The check-in and check-out terminal操作 was smooth. During our stay, we were able to relax and enjoy quality family time. We bought ingredients at a supermarket and cooked in the Room kitchen, and there were more than enough cooking utensils and tableware—nothing to complain about. My parents-in-law were also very happy, so I’m glad we chose this place to stay. We’d love to stay here again when we have the chance.

Although the bath was changed from an Onsen to heated water, it was not a problem. It was excellent as it is close to Chirihama.

Your thoughtful hospitality was wonderful, and we felt right at home! Everything we could have wanted was provided, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time freely without being tied to any plans. Thank you. Our two older children also had a great time with the manga and table games. The bathroom was spacious and very relaxing. Our daughter, who prefers showers, was happy she could quickly take a shower as well. Buu-chan the cat was absolutely adorable. We’d love to stay again. Thank you very much!
