We stayed at the Nagasaki Marriott for two nights, in a Harbor View Suite on the top (13th) floor. With the summer Plan, Child Sharing Existing Bedding and breakfast were free for our child, so it was an excellent value. We also arranged a sofa bed for an additional fee (8,960 yen), and it was very comfortable. The Hotel is directly connected to Nagasaki Station, so access is outstanding. It’s easy to dine and shop at the station building, which was extremely convenient. Because we checked in late, we used room service, and every dish was high quality—we were very satisfied. In addition to Goto udon and burgers, there were plenty of kids’ menu options as well. From the room we could see large cruise ships, and the Harbor View scenery was truly spectacular. As it has only recently opened, the property is very clean throughout, and the modern, sophisticated interior design left a strong impression. The bathroom had a spacious round bathtub; the vanity had an easy-to-use double sink; and with two toilets available as well, our family stay was very comfortable. We had breakfast on both days; some items changed between days so we never got bored. Local Nagasaki specialties such as kakuni buns and sara udon were all delicious, as were the shumai. There was also a wide selection of cheeses, dried fruits, and breads. Both Japanese- and Western-style options were plentiful—something international guests would enjoy too. We couldn’t use the lounge during food service hours, but since it’s open 24 hours a day, it was nice to relax there with coffee. In terms of location, rooms, dining options, and service overall satisfaction was high—it was a very comfortable stay. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again when visiting Nagasaki.

The sauna was excellent, and the dinner not only offered delicious food but also warm hospitality from the staff. Watching the sunset, gazing at the starry sky, and soaking in the morning sun while sitting outside allowed me to truly unwind. The breakfast was also very satisfying

Thank you again for having us this year, as you did last year. We chose the same Room with an in-room washing machine. It was very convenient, and we used it many times. The shower room and toilet were spacious and clean. Although it’s a double bed, it’s very relaxing. We also chose the Plan with breakfast again, and we were very satisfied to enjoy a delicious breakfast from the morning. I don’t think it was available last year, but the Awamori tasting comparison was free as well. The staff were kind and welcoming with great smiles. There are several restaurants within walking distance for dinner, which is very convenient. Thank you again for your hospitality!

The meals were delicious, and we were able to relax. The amenities—especially the towels and toothbrushes—cover the basics, but it would be nice if the quality could be improved a bit.

Shikotsuko Onsen was very quiet, with no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, so we were able to relax peacefully. The front desk, lobby lounge, and restaurant areas felt calm, spacious, and comfortable—perhaps also because the Hotel was not fully booked that day. I have often stayed at small guesthouses and pensions recently, so it was great to experience proper Hotel-style service again, even though this was an annex of a major Hotel. Meals at a Ryokan are often more than I can finish, but here the portions were just right. The pasta in particular was excellent. I was also very satisfied with the services such as drink service at dinner, 24-hour coffee service, gelato after dinner (especially the liqueur-topped gelato, which is available for an additional fee), replenishment of towels and water after dinner, and more. It was also nice that we could use the main building’s private open-air bath at a very reasonable price. The complimentary ramune soda was delicious as well. Two points concerned me: first, the Hotel’s Reservation page stated that they would contact guests by phone or email a few days before arrival for confirmation, but we did not receive any contact. Since it also said that staying might not be possible if there is no response, I called the day before; they simply replied that my Reservation existed without any apology for the lack of notice. Second, while the large in-room jacuzzi filled quickly despite its size and was enjoyable once inside, it was difficult to get out because it is deep and high-sided. This could be dangerous for older guests; having steps or at least a non-slip step stool would make bathing much safer.

I stayed here again for the first time in 15 years. When staying in Kuju, this Accommodation is definitely the right choice. I was satisfied with everything—the views, the open-air bath, the service, and the meals. One small thing: the faucet at the Room sink was a bit too short and slightly inconvenient to use (haha). I made wonderful memories.

The view of the Sea of Japan was breathtaking. From the Room window, I could lie on the futon and watch the sunset—pure happiness. Dinner was an incredible feast of seafood, and it was truly blissful. The most delicious dish was the grilled dancing abalone. The luxurious course left me so full I thought I might burst. The only reason for -1 star was that the indoor bath water was too hot for me. The open-air bath was just right. All of the staff were kind and courteous, which made our stay very pleasant. This was my third stay. Shiretoko is one of my favorite places, and whenever I visit, I always choose to stay at Kitakobushi Resort Hotel. This time, we made a Reservation for three Rooms for seven family members, and we truly appreciated your hospitality. At the newly added private lounge, our whole family was able to relax together and enjoy a wonderful time. Also, thanks to having seats arranged in advance for dinner, all seven of us could dine together, which we were very pleased with. Thank you sincerely to all the staff for your consistently courteous service throughout our stay. We would love to stay at Kitakobushi Resort Hotel again next time. I traveled with my dog and friends. It was my first time at Wanpara Lake Hamana, and I was truly impressed by how kind the staff were. The meals were wonderful—enjoyable to look at and delicious to eat. There was a clean dog run for dogs, and we had a great time playing there. The Onsen was also excellent. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

A wonderful Accommodation perched on a mountain. Service, Onsen, meals, and views—everything deserves five stars. We truly had a lovely time. Thank you very much. The foreign staff member who assisted us was very polite and hardworking, which was another great highlight. In the confirmation call the day before, they also checked about the Shuttle Service, which is available free of charge. Although it’s in Izu Kogen, you can enjoy panoramic ocean views and escape the heat—an undiscovered gem of an Accommodation. Enjoying an Onsen while looking out at the sea from our Room was amazing, and the meals were thoughtfully prepared to appeal to younger guests as well; made with locally sourced ingredients, they were delicious and served in just the right portions. This is an Accommodation we would love to stay at again.

The building is spread out horizontally, so depending on where your Room is located, it can be quite a walk to the restaurant, baths, and lobby. Other than that, there were no particular issues or complaints. It was a truly wonderful Accommodation. Although the large public bath is not an Onsen, it offers three different water temperatures (high/medium/low) and water types, plus a carbonated bath. Other guests also mentioned that it might be more effective than some Onsen. The restaurant (buffet-style) had a wide variety of dishes, and the staff were excellent—one thoughtful touch was that they even informed us that ice cream could be taken back to our Room. I believe drinks inside the facility were reasonably priced as well—for example, a 350 ml can of beer was 350 yen. The souvenir shop opens from 7:30 a.m. It has a great selection, and you can probably find most things you need there.

Everything about the Room, cuisine, Onsen, and ocean-view location is outstanding. The price is unbelievably low. I would definitely like to stay again!

This was our first stay. The Room was very spacious, and the view was wonderful. Watching the sunrise and the changing colors of the sea was truly beautiful. As my husband and I both love good food, we were especially delighted that the meals were so delicious. Thank you very much.

This Hotel came highly recommended by a friend for its wonderful breakfast, and it truly lived up to the praise. Both the buffet and the kaiseki-style breakfast were delicious and fun. Everything looked so good that I ended up eating far too much, so a bit of self-control might be needed (as usual, I still wasn’t hungry by lunchtime). The free-flow alcohol option also really lifted my spirits! In addition to breakfast, I’d also highlight the great location—about a 5-minute walk from Hakodate Station and around 3 minutes from the streetcar stop. The drum-type washer/dryer in the Room was very convenient during rainy weather and in seasons when you tend to sweat more (detergent is provided). One small note: the in-house loungewear is labeled “M” and “F,” so if you assume “M” means “women’s,” you may end up laughing like I did—“M” actually means a larger size, so it was very baggy on me. There are loungewear samples near the shop on 2F1, so I recommend checking them while you’re there to look at the pillow selection. I recommend both breakfast options (buffet and kaiseki), and the large public bath spanning two floors was also enjoyable. It’s a Hotel where I’d definitely like to book a Multiple Night Stay next time.

We stayed one night in the Modern Japanese Suite for our 2-year-old child’s birthday. The building, service quality, and food were all outstanding. Just as rumored, the impressive architecture, interiors, and many artworks felt extraordinary and were a joy to take in. The Room was also wonderful—the bay view was beautiful, and the clean, simple design made it very comfortable. The bath area was very spacious, with lounge chairs throughout where you could relax. Drinks were available inside as well, making it a bath you could happily stay in for hours. The changing room was kept clean too, with staff frequently replacing towels. In particular, the open-air bath at the large public bath on the first floor was surrounded by nature and truly excellent. And true to its name “King’s Buffet,” the selection was abundant and everything was delicious. The dinner steak and the seafood rice bowl at breakfast were of a quality you wouldn’t expect from a buffet—we were extremely satisfied. Because it was our child’s birthday, they took commemorative photos in the lobby at check-in and gave us printed photos at check-out. We were deeply impressed by their hospitality as well. It was a truly wonderful one-night stay. This is a Hotel we would definitely love to stay at again. Thank you very much.

My daughter and I stayed here to celebrate each other’s birthdays. We were upgraded to a spacious Room with views of both the sea and the mountains, and we were happy to relax and truly enjoy our time. We also visited the lounge on the same floor, where we enjoyed a generous selection of alcoholic drinks and delicious hors d’oeuvres plates. We can’t wait to come back again.

Even my husband—who usually doesn’t like buffets—enjoyed it (perhaps because there were many of his favorites), and we could also take our time enjoying IKYU’s Diamond benefits, which was wonderful. At both the beach and Hotel pool, towels, life jackets, and parasols were all
