I hesitated because the Reviews weren’t very good, but I made a Reservation because the Room was spacious and the price was lower than other Hotels. When we actually visited, our family was very satisfied. Since it had just opened, the Room was clean, and the pool and lounge were not crowded, so we could use them without worrying about time. The service wasn’t overbearing—just right. During cleaning, our slippers were put away and not replaced, but when we contacted them they responded immediately. It’s a Hotel where we’d like to stay again next time. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a group of 2 adults and 3 children. The room was very clean, and all the amenities were well-prepared without any inconvenience. The view from the room was great, allowing us to enjoy a resort-like atmosphere. At night, we could also see beautiful stars. Thank you very much! If I had to mention one thing, accessing the bunk bed room on the first floor was only possible via an outdoor staircase, which can be a bit cold in winter.

The machiya-style Accommodation was wonderful. The bathroom was clean and easy to use, and the bed was fluffy, so I slept very well. The sea is nearby, and the quiet, charming streetscape made it a relaxing place to stay. The stairs were steep and a little scary, but it also added to the machiya atmosphere, which I appreciated.

I visit Okinawa every year, but this was my first time staying in the Motobu area. Since the Accommodation is limited to one group per day, I was able to spend a relaxing and peaceful time. Everything about the Facilities and Facility was perfect, but due to the location, the TV reception was slightly poor, so I gave it 4 stars. However, it was an excellent stay for me. I would love to stay again and look forward to visiting next time.

I stayed for three nights. (Used a smoking Room.) It was a good Hotel. (It has a retro, Showa-era vibe.) Being close to the station is very convenient—excellent. (Free parking.) Request: I would have liked cotton swabs among the amenities. Comment: The convenience store is far, so it’s better to come prepared. However, there are several restaurants nearby (including izakaya). Overall, I think it’s a very good Hotel. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

I stayed for one night. The Room had an ocean view. Despite being November, it was warm thanks to the sunlight. The building might be old, but everything was thoroughly cleaned and felt very comfortable. The drink bar's used glasses were frequently collected, keeping it always clean. During the bath inspection time, the staff worked quickly without being intrusive and even asked about the water temperature, which was very soothing. The water temperature was perfect!

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay with our dog again this time. The Room had been renovated, and the bedding was significantly improved compared to before. Face towels and bath towels were provided for the number of nights and guests, making our stay comfortable. With the ocean right in front offering great views and well-equipped self-catering facilities, we would love to stay here again.

This Hotel is highly recommended for anyone considering a stay around Lake Yamanaka near Mt. Fuji. What I appreciated most was the free Shuttle Service from the Fujisan-Yamanakako bus stop to the Hotel. It is available between 15:00 and 17:00, and being taken directly to the Hotel after getting off the bus made me feel very comfortable even on my first visit. If you plan to use it, be sure to make a Reservation in advance online or by phone. The location is also excellent, and Rooms on the Mt. Fuji side offer a stunning view of Mt. Fuji right from the window—truly a highlight. Being able to relax in your Room while enjoying that view feels special. All of the staff were very kind, and it was impressive how attentive and pleasant everyone was, regardless of nationality. The overall atmosphere was warm, and I felt at ease throughout my stay. Before staying, I had seen in a Review that “the shower room is a bit small,” which made me slightly concerned, but in reality it was a unit-bath style setup and personally felt like an appropriate size. It was easier to use than I expected, with no inconvenience at all. I also added meals on-site, and the eel course was excellent—I was very satisfied. There were plenty of dishes included, which was especially enjoyable for an eel lover like me. With great views, location, service, and dining all well balanced, this is a Hotel I would happily choose again.

We stayed for two nights with No Meals Included. The kitchen was well equipped, so we were able to cook and enjoy the vegetables we harvested during the farming experience, which made it a special experience for our children as well. Thank you to the staff for your kind and attentive service. With drinks provided, including a variety of wines, the adults were also very satisfied with our stay. We would love to stay here again on our next trip to Awaji Island.

We stayed here for a trip with two families. The bright, spacious living room was amazing. With two bedrooms and two toilets, we also had plenty of private space. The kids loved the loft—it felt like a secret hideout to them. The electric bikes were easy to use, and the tableware, cookware, and appliances were all stylish and really lifted our mood. There is only one bathroom, so we did have to wait for showers at times, but this villa is so wonderful—you can feel the great taste in every detail. One small request: for a Multiple Night Stay, it would have been helpful to have at least one extra face towel per person. We did laundry, but with a larger group it takes time to dry even with the dryer function. Even so, we were extremely satisfied overall, and everyone agreed we definitely want to stay again! Thank you very much for taking such great care of us!

I requested the Shuttle Service, and everyone was very kind, including on the phone. It was my first time trying lukewarm bathwater, but afterward my skin felt smooth and I stayed warm—it was a pleasant surprise. Dinner was delicious and far more than I could finish; I wished I had asked for a smaller portion. For breakfast, the miso soup and rice were especially good. The place had a comforting mix of nostalgia and warmth, and it was truly relaxing.

The view is beautiful. The room is very spacious. At night, it gets completely dark, and if there are no clouds, the stars are stunning. The hotel's service is excellent. Although I didn’t use it, there is a pool available. The surroundings consist of fields, forests, and cows. It reminded me of an old but charming hotel in Ubud, Bali. For dining or shopping, you can reach the town by car in about 10 minutes. Both the airport and the town are nearby. The hotel offers a morning restaurant and drink vending machines; there might have been cup noodles available too (though I didn’t try them). The facility is somewhat old but functional. Hot showers work well, and the air conditioning was effective. While geckos may occasionally appear (as they do in Bali), I didn’t encounter any during my stay—they’re harmless anyway! There were a few small ants in the bathtub at one point but washing them away with water solved that issue. I made a last-minute reservation during peak season at what I thought was a reasonable price. If you’re concerned about some of these minor drawbacks mentioned above, this place might not be for you; however, if they don’t bother you much, your satisfaction will likely be high. I would love to stay here again!

There is an accommodation located just up the hill of Shiroyama at the eastern edge of the grid-like town. The narrow and steep approach road is one-way, so there’s no need to worry about oncoming traffic. Even large buses were able to make their way up. Although the entrance area of the accommodation is narrow, once you unload your luggage, valet service will take care of parking your car. Walking downhill from the accommodation leads to a main tourist spot, and it’s also conveniently close to the station, making it a great base for exploring. The interior is spacious with intricate design details. The staff are kind and attentive in their interactions. The room faces west with no tall trees obstructing the view, offering a wide panorama of the entire town that can be enjoyed both from inside and from the terrace with an open-air bath. (The view may vary depending on room orientation.) The private open-air bath in each room maintains an ideal temperature all day and night; it’s made of stone and spacious enough for a family to enjoy together. A shower room is conveniently adjacent. On our stay date, fireworks lit up Takayama city, which we watched for about an hour while leaning against the terrace railing. Meals are served in semi-private booth-style seating with sunken kotatsu tables. A quiet group of Western guests dined together in a large hall nearby.

The two of us stayed for two nights. From reception to guidance to the Room and bath, everything was handled with great care. I’d never stayed at an Accommodation with such attentive service from check-in, so I was a bit nervous (lol). The Room was clean, and the bath felt luxurious—more exciting than relaxing! Also, we had a small issue unrelated to the Accommodation, but they responded immediately and it really helped. This is an excellent Accommodation that I’d recommend to anyone who wants to stay somewhere with a different atmosphere than usual, and I’d love to stay again! Thank you very much!

It’s about a 20-minute drive to Takachiho Gorge, but we chose Kijiya because it’s an onsen Accommodation. We had reserved the first boat ride at Takachiho Gorge the next morning, so we stayed with dinner only. Dinner was delicious, with salt-grilled yamame trout, sashimi, tempura, and more. As expected, the onsen was wonderful. We checked out early in the morning, but it’s a great Accommodation where you can truly relax.

This was my first time staying at an accommodation where we rented the entire property. The house was spacious, and the kids were thrilled! The view was amazing, and it felt truly luxurious! However, the road leading to the facility was quite complicated and steep. It felt narrow enough to wonder if a large car could pass through safely. When we unlocked the room and entered, the air conditioning wasn't on, so it took quite a while for it to cool down. There were some insects, but having a vacuum cleaner available was very helpful. The food was delicious! We had shabu-shabu, and I noticed there were a lot of shiitake mushrooms—quite amusing! There was plenty of food overall, but for big eaters, I recommend buying extra before arriving. Once inside, going out at night is challenging due to the complex roads. The amenities were high-quality and satisfying. However, since the dishwashing detergent provided is eco-friendly, it struggled with removing oil stains effectively. We stayed as a group of seven people. The rice cooker provided was small, so we had to cook rice in two batches. It would have been nice if there were sanitary boxes in the toilet. Although there were some minor concerns here and there, we truly felt luxurious during our stay, and we enjoyed spending quality time with family. The view was absolutely stunning—we left feeling very satisfied! Thank you very much!

It was my first time using a youth hostel for a business trip, but it was very easy to talk to everyone, and the other guests maintained a comfortable distance, making it a very pleasant stay. They offered a shuttle service to the town-operated hot springs, and also provided transportation to the JR station, with a welcoming attitude of "ask us anything if you have any issues with your stay," which was really great. Located in Kiyosato Town, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Shari and a sky full of stars, they also offer services like recording footage with a drone. I highly recommend visiting if you want to create lasting memories.

We stayed as a family of four, including a child who will turn 2 in a week and a 6-year-old (preschooler), with the main plan being to visit the Churaumi Aquarium on the second day. The location was easy to find thanks to clear signage. Since the parking lot is a bit far, we recommend checking in early, leaving your luggage in the room, and then heading out for activities. The room had two large beds, which was one of the reasons we chose this accommodation. The toilet and bathroom were separate, and it was helpful that you could take off your shoes before entering the room. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided. We rented extra towels for our children at an additional cost. The room was clean and comfortable; however, we had trouble with the shower as it didn’t provide consistent hot water despite operating the water heater switch in the room—it only lasted about 30 seconds at one temperature. Perhaps proper instructions would have helped resolve this issue? For families with long-haired children like ours, bringing your own hair dryer is recommended since the provided one has low airflow strength. Unfortunately, it was cloudy during our stay; otherwise, I believe we could have enjoyed beautiful ocean views from the balcony. The next morning we received bread for breakfast along with portions for our kids as well! However, note that their orange juice has a fizzy or tangy taste more suited for adults. Another reason we chose this accommodation is its excellent location—very close to Churaumi Aquarium! We arrived right when it opened and enjoyed watching whale sharks peacefully from in front of their large tank during quieter morning hours. Overall, considering its proximity to attractions and staying within budget limits made this stay very satisfying—thank you so much!
