This time, I chose to stay for two nights to relax at the accommodation. Driving to the accommodation at night, the road was narrow and winding, making me wonder if it was really ahead... but I remember feeling relieved upon arrival. (Later, I realized there was another slightly wider road available!) The entrance had a warm wooden mountain lodge feel, and everything was impeccably clean, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. The meals and local craft beer were delicious. If I had to mention one thing, the shower hook in the bathroom was a bit high. It would be perfect if it were placed slightly lower (midway between the floor). Also, the yuzu-scented shampoo and body soap provided were incredibly soothing! I loved them so much that I'm planning to purchase them online. Above all else, the warm hospitality of the staff truly eased my travel fatigue. They were so friendly that we could have chatted forever! My son accompanied me on this trip and said he definitely wants to come back again! Stargazing and viewing sea clouds made this journey truly unforgettable! Thank you so much to all of your wonderful staff!

The Onsen water quality was excellent. From arrival until departure the next morning, we could use the large public bath at any time, and we enjoyed soaking in it many times. The building was kept very clean, and the staff at the Accommodation were wonderful. Although it is located in the central area of Shiga Kogen, it is a quiet environment. The air felt completely different from the heat down below. I think it is also a great base for trekking to places like Takamagahara and Higashidateyama. The only disappointment was that the weather was bad, so we couldn’t see the spectacular Northern Alps view that should have been visible from the window. Next time, I’d like to come back for a retry—possibly during ski season as well.

We had a wonderful auberge experience exactly as we’d imagined, and we were very satisfied. Thoughts on the triple Room (not mentioned in other Review): - The tabletop mirror prepared on the desk—also useful as an accessory tray—was extremely convenient for the three of us traveling together to get ready. - The toilet floor was tiled with a drain, and it felt exceptionally clean. - The loungewear wasn’t overly softened with fabric softener and felt smooth and comfortable. I think even those who dislike fragrances could wear it. - We stayed in February, and the sheets were pleasantly soft and slightly moist to the touch. Perhaps thanks to the mattress pad, nothing shifted at all, so we didn’t need to readjust the bedding until morning. Among Resort Hotels on Okinawa’s main island, Business Hotels, and long-established sightseeing hotels back home (in another prefecture) that we’ve used in recent years, this was our favorite. Ryukyu Ganebu wine and the cuisine, a charming Room, and warm hospitality—it was a truly lovely experience that felt like being shown one by one the treasures gained through all the challenges and adventures the owner couple have accomplished so far. I’m glad we chose “Tears” as our first wine toast with our daughters who have only recently become adults. It has become a precious wine tied to special memories, and we’re really looking forward to returning someday to toast here again. I stayed alone, but I was warmly welcomed and enjoyed a pleasant stay in what felt like a private setting. I was the only one who requested meals, but both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. The bath is small, so it’s not perfect, but this is definitely an accommodation I would love to visit again.

Enjoy delightful conversations with the friendly owner and spend time with adorable cats. Such a charming accommodation is truly rare! The carefully prepared breakfast, both Japanese and Western styles, was absolutely delicious and impressive! The room was comfortable, and the bed provided a great night's sleep. Unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to use the hammock this time, but next time I’d love to relax on the terrace or stargaze. I will definitely visit again! Thank you so much!

Having stayed in Bise before, I already knew the atmosphere, and when I found this Accommodation right in front of Bisezaki—where you can snorkel—I was immediately Done. I had planned a Multiple Night Stay for 2 nights, but a typhoon canceled my flight and it ended up being just 1 night, which was disappointing. Still, this Accommodation exceeded expectations in every way and I was completely satisfied. Needless to say, the location is amazing, and everything about the Room—from the facilities to the cleanliness—was excellent. The warm hospitality of the owners (a couple?) was wonderful as well. Drinking a beer by the sea while watching the sunset and listening to Okinawan songs… there are no words. And what could easily be called the main event: stargazing! A sky full of stars. I will definitely stay here again to see Bise’s ocean and starry sky!! Since it was only 1 night and I had plans to go to Minna Island on checkout day, I checked out while holding back my strong desire to swim in Bise’s sea one more time. Next time, I’ll stay for multiple nights and truly relax.

We used this place for our family’s first glamping trip. The dome-shaped tent was beautiful with an ocean view, and it came with a shower and toilet. We also enjoyed the Onsen, and the kids were thrilled. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

Dinner was outstanding! The flounder sashimi came as a whole fish, incredibly fresh and nicely fatty—very satisfying. Above all, the abalone was amazing. You get a medium-sized abalone grilled with butter; it was so fresh (lightly grilled while still alive) and had absolutely no off smell from the innards. It may have been the best abalone I’ve ever had. The meat isn’t exactly premium, but it tasted great and exceeded expectations. The Room and Onsen are honestly pretty standard (lol), but for our family, being able to sleep comfortably is all we need—no complaints at all. Breakfast is a typical menu, but just like dinner, the ingredients are high quality, so we were more than satisfied. I’d recommend this Accommodation to anyone who’s mainly coming for the food!

I stayed here because I wanted to visit the Twelve Lakes. If you’re staying, I recommend the cottage! The staff were kind and taught me a lot, and since I was traveling by train, the Shuttle Service was also very helpful. For meals, I was happy to enjoy plenty of local specialties from Fukaura. Overall, I had a comfortable stay with no particular inconveniences, so it’s 5 stars. It was a very enjoyable trip.

I had such a pleasant stay that I've decided to make it my regular accommodation whenever I come to this area! The place was clean and tidy, the room felt very spacious, the attention to detail was wonderful, and my child had a great time. The meals were delicious with plenty of fish and generous portions. For young children, the beach right in front and the park with playground equipment were very exciting. I want to visit again during the summer vacation.

I was able to spend a relaxing time while enjoying the beautiful scenery at the quiet seaside. The shared space had stylish interiors, and at night, the indirect lighting created a wonderful and calm atmosphere. There was a display of various spices, which was intriguing. The owner was kind, and the seafood bowl restaurant in Shimonoseki that was recommended was cheap and delicious, leaving me very satisfied! Breakfast consisted of healthy and delicious steamed vegetables and shumai. I enjoyed it while watching the sunrise on the terrace. It was also interesting to try various spices. Since the curry seems to be delicious, I would love to come back here to eat when I visit Shimonoseki again.

The room was spacious and clean. The dog run was also great. The meals were delicious, and both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying. A taxi is necessary to get to Gora Station, so we recommend making a reservation in advance. The staff were kind and attentive, which was wonderful. Thank you very much!

The building is old but kept clean, so there were no issues. The bath includes an open-air bath where you can relax while enjoying the night sky and ocean in a private setting. Dinner was very hearty, featuring Chita beef, Ise lobster, sashimi, sushi, and octopus rice—truly satisfying. The buffet-style breakfast was also delicious. The staff at the accommodation were extremely kind. The fluffy and warm futon was excellent as well. The return shuttle service felt like a thrilling roller coaster ride! I had a wonderful time and fully enjoyed my stay. I would love to come back again. Thank you very much!

A truly great Hotel. The owner is kind and attentive. If you’re searching for a Hotel and can’t decide, you should definitely choose this one!

The parking was easy to use, which was very helpful. I had registered my companion in advance and expected everything to go smoothly, but the way to enter the building was a bit hard to understand. You can live just like at home without any issues, so I think it’s perfect for families with children. Overall it was clean, but I did wish the washing machine had been maintained a little better. Still, there were plenty of hangers, and even when drying laundry outside there is proper screening around the area, so it felt safe. At night, it was quieter outside than I expected. There’s a convenience store right nearby, and American Village is within walking distance as well, which was very convenient.

I stayed at the accommodation and had a very relaxing time in a room with a sauna, which allowed me to unwind comfortably. The entire facility was well-cleaned and had a sense of cleanliness, while the interior and terrace were stylish and offered a calm atmosphere for a pleasant stay. The view of the ocean from the window was soothing throughout my stay. Being close to the sea made it attractive as I could enjoy swimming anytime if I had free time. Amenities like water dispensers were well-equipped, ensuring no inconvenience during my stay. The only concern was that the road leading to the facility is narrow with steep slopes, so caution is needed for large or low-clearance vehicles. Other than that, it was an incredibly satisfying experience, and I would love to stay again at this wonderful accommodation.

We stayed here for a four-generation family trip. The Room was clean and spacious just as shown in the photos, and the Facility was flawless. We also ordered a sashimi platter for an additional fee, and both the taste and portion size were excellent. If I had to mention anything, the mountain road on the way to the Accommodation is quite steep, and it’s an environment where insects are likely to appear.

I stayed in a mixed dormitory Room with bunk beds. In addition to the front lobby, there were other spaces where I could relax, and every interior had a stylish atmosphere—staying only one night felt like a waste. Thanks to that, I was able to see Mt. Fuji at sunset. The staff—a kind handsome man and a cute woman—were very attentive, and it was an Accommodation where I felt safe even as a solo traveler. Thank you very much. If I may be greedy, it would be nice to have an electric fan in the shared washbasin area outside the shower room—just my personal thought. Overall, I was very satisfied with this Accommodation.
