This time, I stayed two nights on the Mojiko side, then took the ferry across to the Shimonoseki side for one night. It was a very sunny and hot day, but Karato Market, the Karato Ferry Terminal, Kaikyokan (Shimonoseki Aquarium), Hai! Karatto Yokocho (a small amusement park), and RISONARE are all lined up in the same area, so it’s great that you can enjoy everything within walking distance. On top of that, the Hotel offers plenty of kid-friendly activities such as the pufferfish pool and pufferfish beach, and the little ones looked like they were having a wonderful time. I also saw families staying with three generations together—this seems like an excellent choice for family trips. As for me, it was a solo trip for one night, so I treated myself to a full pufferfish Italian course at Otto Sette in the dining room (the aperitif was served on the terrace at sunset before moving into the dining room!). I also enjoyed a relaxing resort stay in a new and comfortable Room while taking in views of the Kanmon Straits. In the morning, I started my walk before dawn along Arukaport Promenade by the sea in front of the Hotel. With cool sea breezes and gradually brightening skies over the Kanmon Straits, I walked past Karato Market to Sister City Plaza at the end of the promenade to watch sunrise. Then I returned along the same path back to the Hotel and joined “Sea Breeze Stretch” on Namunami Terrace with its beautifully kept lawn. After that came an incredible breakfast buffet with so many options it was hard to choose—I enjoyed it right up to my limit. At PUKU PUKU’s breakfast buffet, kawara soba, seafood marinated rice bowls, and French toast are must-haves—go hungry. Even though it was only one night, it felt incredibly fulfilling. I’d love to come back—and now I want to visit other RISONARE properties too. Also, even if you make a Reservation here, it’s convenient that you can log in on their official website using your Reservation Number and arrange meals and activities online in advance.

We stayed on a Plan with breakfast and dinner included. The private beach in front of the Hotel was wonderful, and we could take a quiet early-morning walk while looking out at the sea. We also enjoyed snorkeling, and the kids had a great time—perfect for a summer vacation. The meals were buffet-style and delicious, and the BBQ dinner on the second night was especially memorable because we could eat while enjoying the ocean view. We looked forward to the breakfast buffet every day, and even during our Multiple Night Stay we never got tired of it. A Resort Hotel with a private beach is rare, so we would love to stay again.

The ocean-view Room and the bath were great. Although the building is old, it was well cleaned and I had a comfortable, pleasant stay. A large nearby Hotel where I stayed the previous day felt crowded with too many guests and wasn’t very relaxing, but this Hotel was quiet and nice, even if it doesn’t have much of a luxury resort feel.

- If you stay at an Accommodation on the Sea of Japan side, it’s common to be able to watch the sunset. There were three choices for where to view it: (1) the Chokai Mountain plateau, (2) the seaside, or (3) the Hotel. We chose (2), the seaside. We initially thought we could watch it from the Accommodation, but since the building wasn’t very tall and there were houses nearby, we went out to the beach after check-in. - There was also a private bath, but we didn’t choose it because it was a bit expensive and didn’t seem like we could expect much of a view. - The Room (and facilities) were comfortable and relaxing. Above all, the food (dinner and breakfast) was excellent—the best part of our stay. Next time, I’d like to stay when there is a city fireworks festival.

This is our annual summer family trip with three generations. We book two Rooms, and we truly appreciate that you arrange them next to each other. The baths are amazing—wonderful Onsen! The food is delicious with a wide variety of options, and all the staff are so kind and helpful. It’s an outstanding Hotel. My mother was left partially paralyzed after a cerebral hemorrhage and has limited mobility, so we wondered if this might be our last trip together—but this year again, our whole family was able to come. We hope my mother and father stay healthy so we can all return next year as well. This is the best Hotel for creating wonderful memories on our yearly family trips. Please take care of yourselves, and keep up the great work. I’ll be visiting with friends in October too, and I’m looking forward to coming back again. It was a truly wonderful Hotel. The Room was clean and had a calm atmosphere, making it very comfortable to stay in. All the staff were kind, and their attentive care and warm hospitality left a strong impression. The atmosphere throughout the building and the Facilities were excellent, and I was able to relax from the bottom of my heart during my stay. The hospitality exceeded my expectations and became a lovely travel memory. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again. I would confidently recommend it to family and friends!

We traveled with my son’s family and looked for a Room where we could all stay together. The Room was spacious and had a jacuzzi, which everyone enjoyed. The dinner course was also excellent, with very tender meat. The only drawback was that there was no washing machine in the Room. There was a coin laundry, but we had to keep track of the time and go pick up our laundry, which made it hard to fully relax. Since this is a Resort Hotel with many beachgoers, I hope this can be improved.

The entrance is just outside the ground-level exit of Takebashi Subway Station, and the Room is spacious with a great view of the Imperial Palace.

We stayed at Wanpaina in Futtsu, coming from a landlocked prefecture. It was getting chilly in the mornings and evenings, but the underfloor heating kept our dog comfortable. The living room, reminiscent of Hawaii, was a Room with an oceanfront location. The sunset was especially stunning, making us want to come back again!

We stayed for two nights as a family. As this is glamping within a golf facility, it’s set on beautifully maintained lawns, and we were able to relax very comfortably—almost like staying at a Hotel. Even though it was summer, insects didn’t bother us much. We did notice a slight vinyl-like smell from the tent, but the interior was spacious, with two air-conditioning units and adjustable lighting, so it was very comfortable. The bathrooms were also very clean, which made it reassuring for women as well. The Italian meals were excellent and very generous in portion size. We stayed for two nights, and they changed the menu for us; everything was delicious. I can’t go into details, but they were also considerate of our picky-eating son—I felt sorry to trouble them—but we truly appreciated their thoughtful attention. Because it’s all-inclusive, I was disappointed that I don’t drink alcohol, but my husband does and seemed extremely satisfied being able to enjoy a variety of drinks without hesitation. We couldn’t make it to bar time due to our schedule, but it sounded like there was a great selection and we would have loved to try it. There is some distance between the clubhouse where you dine and the tent where you stay. Shuttle Service is generally provided, but if you want to walk instead, please note that walking may not be allowed during certain hours (possibly for safety reasons). At night, it was lovely to stroll from the clubhouse back to the tent while looking up at the sky. There’s also a “German Village” within driving distance; we enjoyed activities like putter golf with our children. We didn’t overpack our schedule and spent two relaxing days—making wonderful memories.

It was a very lovely Room. The kitchenware and amenities were well stocked, and it was helpful to have toilets on both the first and second floors. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for your help. I had checked the Reviews in advance and had some concerns about the service, but after actually staying there, those worries proved unfounded. I’m a light user who stays at a Hotel only a few days a year, but I was satisfied with everything.

I chose to stay here based on past Reviews. This Hotel offers a relaxing, soothing atmosphere with a clean interior, spacious layout, and a quiet, serene setting. Dinner was more than ample and made with fresh ingredients—especially the bonito sashimi and seared bonito, which were outstanding. The Room was clean and generously sized, and I was able to unwind comfortably for the night. A very satisfying Hotel overall.

A trip to Itoshima with three high school friends! We were unexpectedly upgraded to a corner suite!! Ocean views from the window, the bath, and even the bed. All the staff were kind and welcoming. Next time, I’d like to stay here with my family.

The Room was spacious and comfortable with individual air conditioning, and the front desk staff were kind and attentive. The large public bath was also very relaxing, with an open-air bath and a sauna. The amenities were well stocked, and I have no complaints at all. If I’m in the area again, I will definitely stay here again. I can confidently recommend it to everyone.

I stayed here with my sister and her husband while it was snowing heavily. The Accommodation has both a first and second floor, making it a Room layout I had never experienced before. The in-Room bath had plenty of hot water flowing continuously, which was perfect for a morning soak. The meals were also very delicious.

The Room, bathroom, and washroom were spotless. The toilet and bath are completely separate. The amenities were luxurious as well. Listening to the sound of the waves, we enjoyed an elegant moment. The sunset seen from the Room’s balcony is unforgettable. Truly a spectacular view! It was breathtakingly beautiful. I want to visit Awaji Island again just to stay at this Hotel!

You can see the ocean from the Room window. The weather was great, and we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset. The Room has an interesting layout and includes a sink. There is also a terrace, so I spent a long time gazing at the sea while drinking coffee. Breakfast was very del
