My daughter, who lives far away, was able to come home during the holiday, so we stayed on 9/20 during Silver Week. At first, we had made a Reservation at another Hotel because we planned to go grape picking in Fukushima and then travel to Morioka. However, with the typhoon making the weather uncertain, we kept considering a closer plan until the last minute. When an opening came up for a Room with an open-air bath, we quickly made a Reservation here. Since our family travels entirely by car, changing our schedule gave us extra time. We arrived early and planned to take a walk nearby, and the parking staff kindly recommended some spots for us. The footbath was very relaxing. The open-air bath in the Room does not have a washing area, but it wasn’t an issue—washing first at the large public bath or using the indoor bath in the Room was enough. Dinner and breakfast are buffet-style. When traveling as a family of four, we usually choose Accommodations with buffets, so we truly appreciate Itoen Hotel for its reasonable pricing. Some people have various opinions about the food, but if you search under the same conditions (a Room with an open-air bath), most places cost about twice as much or more than Itoen Hotel. If you’re dissatisfied, it simply means you should increase your budget. The Tsukimi Fair set dishes and—during Silver Week—the bluefin tuna and roast beef sushi were especially popular. The ramen was also delicious; since this is Fukushima, perhaps it had a Kitakata-style soup? Our family was very satisfied. Because of the typhoon’s impact, we decided to relax at the Hotel. We enjoyed soaking in the Onsen many times, eating until we were full, winning prizes in the game corner arcade area, and having fun playing table tennis—it was a wonderful stay. Since I made this Reservation in such haste, I caused trouble due to my own mistake. Also after checking out and leaving, my daughter realized something important to her was missing. When we turned back and returned to the Hotel staff immediately told us it had been found at the shop counter—this truly helped us so much. Thank you very much for your kind assistance. Lastly I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone—the person who handled my call regarding my mistake during Reservation booking as well as all staff at reception front desk parking restaurant shop housekeeping and throughout this Hotel. Due to bad weather, I arrived much later than my planned check-in time, but they accommodated me. My vehicle was about the size of a microbus, but they still allowed me to park, which was a huge help. Another place refused because of my vehicle size, so I really appreciated how willingly this Accommodation handled it. For a family of four, the 10-tatami Room was very spacious, and the kids were thrilled. The Facility is a bit old... The windows are thin and you can hear outside noise easily; the sound of rain echoes pleasantly in the Room. The shower pressure in the bath was a slight downside... Other than that, I have no complaints. An Accommodation that lets you park a vehicle of my size is invaluable, so I’ll stay here again next time. Thank you very much.

I stay here every June. The bamboo shoots at dinner and the omelet at breakfast are delicious! Thank you to all the staff for always welcoming me so warmly.

Surrounded by Aso’s great natural scenery, the views were amazing! We were upgraded, so our Room was a Japanese-Western style room with a wonderful view. The food was also excellent—Akaushi roast beef and steak, sashimi, and more—with an all-you-can-drink plan, so we were very satisfied! It was only one night, but we really enjoyed the stargazing walk at night, fireworks, the pool, the massage room, and manga—everything was great. The open-air bath was a bit too bright in the daytime because of the sun, so I’d like some measures for that. I wanted to soak in the open-air bath under the night sky, but I drank too much and fell asleep. The next morning we could even see a sea of clouds—it became a truly wonderful memory!

A relaxing accommodation located at the foot of Mt. Sanbe with a fantastic location. The price is reasonable, offering great satisfaction. The meals are diverse and exceptionally delicious. If given the chance, I would love to stay at this accommodation again. Thank you!

On my first trip to Nasu-Shiobara, I stayed at Laforet and was able to relax in a Hotel set in a wonderful natural environment. The Shuttle Service driver and the front desk staff were very helpful, and the meals were delicious with a well-balanced menu. The staff who served the food also had excellent manners, which made the experience even more pleasant. The sulfur bath soothed my fatigue. The room was well cleaned and maintained, and I was satisfied with everything at an affordable price.

I was able to relax and take it easy. Sitting by the fireplace, I enjoyed the nostalgic scent, sound, and flames of the burning firewood. The free-flow alcohol and drinks were wonderful—I was pleasantly surprised. It was perfect for a quick drink after a bath. The snacks were delicious as well; it felt like you really let the quality of the ingredients speak for itself. The evening buffet also had a handmade feel and was very tasty. Breakfast offered so many options that I couldn’t try everything. If I have the chance, I’d love to stay again.

Because it’s built on a hill with no obstructions, the open-air bath offered an amazing front-row view of the Northern Alps. However, since it was cloudy, we unfortunately couldn’t see the stars at night or the sunrise in the morning from the rooftop. We stayed for one night on our way back from Kamikochi, so we didn’t have much time to explore Hakuba, which was a bit disappointing. We’d definitely like to visit again.

This is my second stay. For seniors, a Western-style room is recommended over a Japanese-style room. The Onsen is great, and the food is excellent—simply the best.

For dinner, we chose the Chinese made-to-order buffet, and every dish was delicious.

I stayed at Hayamakan in Kaminoyama Onsen for one night from September 22. It is an older building, but it was thoroughly cleaned down to every corner, making it a very pleasant Accommodation. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and I was truly impressed. At dinner, the staff member who assisted us was a woman from Nepal and new to the job, but she explained everything with a smile and left a wonderful impression. If I could make one suggestion: I couldn’t find the large public bath on the 3rd floor and ended up walking back and forth. It felt like a hidden room, which was interesting, but I think it would be easier to find if there were noren curtains or clearer signage. There were five of us (all men), and everyone commented with smiles that it was truly a great Accommodation. Each of us would like to return again with our families. Thank you very much.

Whenever we visited Oku-Nikko and Yumoto, we would stop by Senjogahara or the ranch, and this Accommodation had always caught our eye. After turning 60, my spouse and I stayed here for the first time. The Onsen and the breakfast and dinner were wonderful, and it was a relaxing summer holiday to see many couples around our age dining in the restaurant. After ringing a bear bell and walking around Senjogahara for over an hour, we headed to Nikko Toshogu Shrine!

Surrounded by mountains, this Hotel is quiet and offers a relaxing, unhurried stay. At the front desk, you can borrow items such as soccer balls and badminton equipment. In summer, the indoor pool is also available, making it a comfortable choice for families with children to enjoy with peace of mind. The buffet felt slightly limited in variety, but everything tasted great and I went back for seconds several times. Depending on the season, there are also dishes featuring crab or abalone, giving the impression that guests of all ages can enjoy it. One small point to note is the shop: while there is a wide selection of souvenirs, there are fewer options for snacks and alcohol. You may want to buy those in advance at a convenience store or supermarket on the way. Also, because the building uses centralized air conditioning, there are no individual air conditioners in each Room. If you are sensitive to temperature changes, bringing lighter or warmer clothing may help you stay more comfortable.

I referred to the Reviews. I’m often disappointed, but this time it was a great choice. I knew from the Reviews that the Facility is a bit dated, so I was satisfied.

When I went to the front desk to ask if I could park my car before check-in, there were only foreign staff and I couldn’t communicate well. We stayed for two nights, and my wife lost the Room key, so I contacted the front desk, but again it was foreign staff and they didn’t understand—saying they would check—and that was it. However, with pre-registration enabling instant check-in via QR code and a Room mirror with tablet functions for instant check-out, I feel this Hotel is ahead of its time.

Since it was self check-in, I didn’t have high expectations, but it was a Facility where I could relax comfortably, including the Room, Onsen, and relaxation room. The Onsen quality was excellent; although it was set up so you could visit other Onsens as well, there was no need. There are no meals provided, but just before heading up the mountain there is “Gutto Yamagata,” which offers a great selection of Yamagata food and everything from meals to alcohol. I would like to stay here again when I visit Yamagata.

The autumn leaves were very beautiful from the room. There were many tourists from overseas, but there were no issues, and it was a great experience to chat in the open-air bath. The staff seemed to include those proficient in languages, showing their efforts as an accommodation. The variety of uniquely designed baths was enjoyable. The food was also delicious. However, the reservation method for private baths may need some consideration.

We stayed as a family of three. It was an Accommodation with about 10 Rooms, where we could spend a very relaxing time. Depending on the time of day, the Onsen felt like it was reserved for private use. It was great to be able to choose from six types of shampoo. The food was also very delicious.

This time I took the Shinkansen to Sendai and used the free Shuttle Service bus from Sendai Station for a round trip. After arriving, I had a beer, and at dinner I ate and drank as well. I also got to use the pool, so I was very satisfied. Since I was traveling alone, my Room was a single and felt a bit small, but next time I'd like to go with friends and try staying in a larger Room. I'd like to visit again.

We stayed as three families and had a wonderful time. We have a child who requires special consideration, and we truly appreciated that you contacted us after our Reservation and kindly accommodated our needs. With table tennis available, we all enjoyed ourselves together in the evening as well. The Onsen water was pleasantly silky, and we were able to relax deeply. Breakfast was delicious—especially the vegetables and the apple juice!
