The Facility is old, but parts have been renovated, so it wasn’t inconvenient. Anyway, dinner was as delicious as at a high-end traditional restaurant. The portions were generous—I felt like I could burst. Breakfast was also very good and not a buffet. However, the view was poor, and Lake Yamanaka couldn’t be seen from either the Room or the bath. If the trees were trimmed down, you’d be able to see it.

A warm welcome made for a pleasant start. The Onsen was excellent. The meals were beautifully presented with an autumn theme and were absolutely delicious.

This was my first time staying at this Hotel, recommended by my daughter-in-law. When I informed the staff about our significantly delayed check-in, they responded kindly and professionally. The Room was clean and spacious, with an amazing view from the balcony. My husband and I are already discussing coming back next time with our son, his wife, and our grandchild.

We stayed during the summer vacation period. There were many families with children, and the pool was crowded, but we still enjoyed it. As other Reviews mention, the in-house Facilities are undeniably dated, but everything felt clean and it was a pleasant stay. There may not be many power outlets. The air conditioning wasn’t very strong, so the Room felt warm. I didn’t have high expectations for breakfast, but it exceeded them—the open-kitchen omelets were delicious, and I especially liked the chilled yuzu ramen. For those who enjoy a drink in the morning, there was also wine available, so I think you can relax. If you’re looking to have fun nearby with access to a pool included, this is a good option. We would like to stay again.

This was my second stay. It seems the Accommodation has been renovated since my last visit, making it even more comfortable. Next time, I’d like to visit with my daughters and their families.

The Room overlooking the wild sea let us hear the sound of the waves all night, and it truly felt like a Hotel on the water, just as its name suggests. We knew we had chosen a Plan with fewer dishes; dinner was tasty and we enjoyed it with rice. However, breakfast left us wondering what to eat with rice… we were grateful there were pickles. The large public bath and the Room are old, but we were able to relax. We will come again.

A hidden gem at our breakfast restaurant is the Fisherman's Bowl, also known as Mago Chazuke. Served in a special bowl with half a portion of white rice, namero (minced fish), shirasu (whitebait), pickled plum, grated yam, shredded seaweed, wasabi, and dashi broth. Perfect for those looking to replenish salt and energy during summer fatigue—give it a try! Enjoy it with the scent of the sea and ocean breeze! We have a suggestion: how about offering an "Ahi Creative Tuna Bowl" during lunchtime someday? GINGER or SPICY Ahi bowls are extremely popular in Hawaii. We believe it would be perfect for SAYAN's lunch menu and could become a hit dish. You can compare it to OFF THE HOOK or MAGURO SPOT—Ono!! Announcement! September is the best time to visit our accommodation. Summer isn't over yet! On September 13th and 20th, we will host Surfing Meetings 2025. The package includes surfing lessons and lunch at Sayan Terrace for ¥6000—a deal you can't miss. See you soon! MAHALO!

I stay here several times a month. During my last visit, the property was being renovated and there was some construction noise. When I mentioned it, the staff promptly stopped the work, and I really appreciated their considerate response. At checkout, the manager even took the time to greet me personally, which was very kind. I’m always satisfied with the pleasant service. I also occasionally use the restaurant, and I feel both the Japanese and Western dishes offer excellent value for money. I would like to continue staying here in the future.

This was my third trip to Miyakojima, but my first time staying overnight here. The building feels a bit dated, as it was built during the bubble era, but it was very well cleaned and felt spotless. One thing I noticed was that the hallway was very hot—probably to save electricity. Being able to take a shower after check-out was extremely helpful, and the staff were great at that time as well. You can see the sunset and even catch a bit of the sunrise—amazing. When I come back to Miyakojima, I will definitely stay here again.

My husband, our daughter, and I stayed as a family of three. Dinner was luxurious and every dish was delicious, and the hospitality from all the staff was wonderful. We could truly feel your warm desire for us to enjoy the meal. Thanks to you, we had a wonderful trip to Iwate. Thank you very much.

This hotel offered a stunning view of Mt. Iwate. We stayed in a Corner Twin room, which was spacious and perfect for relaxing after our trip. The hot spring isn’t very large, but it was a pleasant surprise to find an infinity-style bath that blends seamlessly with the pond in the Japanese garden. Perhaps because it was the off-season, it was excellent value for money. Highly recommended in early autumn when the leaves begin to change and the air is crisp and clear.

I visited Kazo City to see the town where my daughter lives. It was in the morning, well before check-in time. When I asked at the front desk whether I could leave my car there, they kindly said it was fine, which I really appreciated. The Room was a simple business-style Room, and it felt clean and comfortable. I booked a plan with breakfast; it was buffet-style. The selection was a bit smaller than expected. The original white curry tasted like a white version of chicken curry. Since the price was very reasonable, I think it was satisfactory overall. All of the staff were warm and helpful.

It was our first couple's trip in over twenty years without the kids. We visited with the intention of enjoying delicious food and leisurely drinks, and it was the perfect choice. All the dishes were very tasty, and the balance between French and Japanese cuisine was excellent, which made the sparkling wine and sake go down smoothly. The staff's service and their explanations about the drinks were wonderfully enjoyable. For breakfast, we had the rare truffle kamameshi, which was delightful as it was cooked to match our timing. The beautifully presented salad was also delicious, leaving both our eyes and stomachs satisfied. Since it was a weekday during the off-season, I was able to enjoy the enchanting outdoor jacuzzi at night all by myself. The purpose of the trip was to relax together, and everything from the compactness of the Hotel to the food and service was comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you very much. On our way back, we talked about how we are interested in trying the Asian cuisine next time.

It would be nice to have something like a static electricity removal sheet since static electricity is a concern.

Although the hotel seemed fully booked during Golden Week, the service was attentive and well organized. There were numbered tickets for breakfast, but people appeared to come in regardless, so they didn’t seem to serve any purpose, which was a bit disappointing.

I didn’t expect to find such a comfortable hotel in Wakkanai. The bed was very comfortable. It was also great that the patisserie attached to the restaurant is open until around 9:00 p.m., since it’s often hard to find sweets at night in regional cities. Overall, it was a great hotel. If I had to mention one issue, it would be that the front parking lot tends to fill up quickly.

We invited our eldest son to celebrate his birthday. Check-in starts at 4:00 PM, but we arrived early and were able to complete the check-in process right away. In the lounge, coffee was available, and after 4:00 PM we were welcomed with a complimentary cocktail. The service was polished and left a great impression. Dinner was a light kaiseki course; the grilled vegetables were especially delicious, and everything else was also very good—we were very satisfied. Alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced, and the young couple enjoyed quite a few. The hot spring felt great for the skin; I had a rash on my arm, and it became less noticeable. The only disappointment was that the open-air bath was closed. The lounge and bar atmosphere, along with the location, should be perfect during the upcoming autumn foliage season. Our son and his wife thanked us and said it was a wonderful hotel, and we were very happy as well.

The staff were very kind. The location was easy to find, and the free parking was a great help. There are many tourist spots and restaurants nearby, which was convenient. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

The place felt a bit old overall, but that only made it wonderfully nostalgic. The child we brought along also found it refreshingly different and enjoyed exploring inside. The meals were full of that nostalgic vibe as well. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having coloring pages so our child wouldn’t get bored. They even lent us tabletop games at the front desk, which was perfect for killing a little time. Everyone’s service was great, and we had a very comfortable stay. The view from the bath stretched far into the distance, and it was relaxing to just zone out and enjoy it. Also, the adjacent pool was really fun. There were about four different slides, and it’s hard to pick a favorite. The one from the very top was my first time sliding through complete darkness—exciting and a little scary. Since the pool is extremely close to the Accommodation, it’s a big help for families with kids. Guests can reserve spots earlier than day visitors, which made things super easy. If I had to ask for one thing: I noticed traces of what looked like an arcade area in the building—if only that were still there...

The views from the Facility are simply outstanding. All of the staff were kind and courteous. The bath was small, but very clean and had a great view as well. The food was delicious. Thank you very much.
