Onoya Hotel

The building feels old, and some areas are dimly lit, which can feel a bit unsettling.The front desk staff are easy to talk to and very pleasant.Parking in front of the Hotel is limited, but there is a second parking lot right across the street, so it’s not an issue.It’s nice that there are no foreign guests staying here.There are two massage chairs, but one was broken and couldn’t be used. (Since it’s free, no complaints.)It’s also good that you can pick up only the amenities you need at the front desk.They also offer free coffee and tea, which is a nice touch.

Affordable rates, friendly staff, a large public bath (there is also an in-Room bath), and 24-hour drink service such as coffee (the barley tea was a nice touch). Manga are available, the meals were delicious and felt luxurious for the price, and in-Room dining is also possible. We were able to relax at a leisurely pace. The building shows its age, but it is well cleaned and maintained. When we come to Miyagi again, we would definitely like to stay here.
