Iizaka Onsen Iseya Ryokan

This was my first stay at an Accommodation with No Meals Included. I set the location on my GPS, but the entrance may be a little hard to find; once you’ve found it, it’s easy to remember.From check-in, the staff provided warm and attentive hospitality. People in Fukushima are often very kind.The Room and the Accommodation itself show their age, but everything is well maintained and didn’t feel outdated. Amenities such as bath towels, towels, toothbrushes, and yukata are provided. There are two Onsen baths in separate locations. I wasn’t that interested in Onsen, so I only used one—and it was quite hot (lol). My child and I turned it into a little endurance contest.For meals, it was also fun to take a walk to nearby restaurants and discover a new style of travel. I’d like to stay again.

I currently live in Chiba Prefecture, but I was born in Fukushima Prefecture and lived there until I was 18. It felt a bit quiet without the bustle of 40 years ago, but it is an Onsen town with excellent water quality, and I hope it will continue for many years to come. I am grateful to everyone at the Accommodation for their kind hospitality.
