Washington R&B Hotel Otsuka Station North Exit

I’ve stayed here several times.It’s very close to the station so it’s easy to find, very clean, and reasonably priced—I really like it.I made a Reservation for a single Room, but I was upgraded to a spacious twin Room, which I really appreciated. The bathroom and toilet were separate, so I could relax in the bath and was very happy.The staff were also very friendly.I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Tokyo.

I used the seniors-only (60+) single Room with breakfast Plan. With Yahoo Travel’s instant cashback, it ended up being close to the lowest price among Business Hotels near Yamanote Line stations. If you’re heading to areas like Shibuya, Shinjuku, or Ikebukuro, it might be cheaper to take the train and stay here instead (as long as you don’t miss the last train). The Room was a sensible size, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious.GOOD - Right in front of JR Otsuka Station - Easy access to Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ueno - Very reasonably priced for a Business Hotel in Tokyo on weekends when rates are soaring - Facilities and amenities are sufficient; everything is clean inside - Convenient dining with PRONTO on the 1st floor and Royal Host on the 2nd; plenty of restaurants around the station area - Checkout is done by dropping your card in a box, so no need to worry about morning wait times - The welcome coffee service is appreciated BAD - Stairs are required to reach the front desk on the 2nd floor (there is an elevator if you go around to the back entrance) - The convenience store is a bit far Overall, there weren’t any issues serious enough to call “bad,” and I think it’s a very good Hotel.
