Bihaku no Yuyado Oe Honke

We were very satisfied with every aspect of our stay, including the meals, the bath, and the staff’s service. The meals offered a wide variety of dishes and were delicious—we were truly pleased. The bath allowed us to enjoy the excellent water quality unique to an Onsen, and we had a relaxing, soothing time. All staff members were courteous, making our stay comfortable. We would definitely like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

I stayed here with my son.From the moment we arrived, the staff were kind and welcoming with a great sense of humor, and my son said it was the best service he’s ever experienced.At other Onsen destinations, I often see many international staff doing their best even if they are still not fully fluent, but here everyone at both the front desk and the restaurant spoke excellent languages. I was impressed by their personal efforts as well as the company’s training approach.Every dish was delicious, and we were able to enjoy plenty of local specialties such as salt yakisoba and Bihoro jingisukan. The steak was cooked perfectly! At breakfast, a cute squirrel even came by, which made for a delightful time.Because it was crowded during the holiday period, there were lines for popular items. I thought arranging them more smoothly along the flow of traffic might help.For the Onsen, we used a private family bath on the first night and the large public bath on the second night. After bathing, our skin felt silky smooth and our fatigue from long-distance travel melted away. The family bath was explained thoroughly in advance, so we could relax at ease.My son was born in Kitami City, but because we moved away when he was little he has no memories of Kitami. This time we visited his birth hospital, our former company housing where we lived back then, and other places tied to those memories.Even before checkout he said he wants to come again, and it became a warm memory connected to his birthplace.Thank you very much.
