Tabisai no Oyado Mizuhaso

I stayed here in the middle of an extreme heat wave.The Room was Japanese-style, with a round table and floor cushions. Wi-Fi was available.The futon was already laid out.It didn’t feel old-fashioned at all and was very clean.It’s an out-bath style, but there is a single-person bath right next door. There may not be many Rooms, so it never felt crowded and I could use it without any trouble.Breakfast was very lavish: classic items like grilled salmon, miso soup, rice served in an ohitsu tub, teppan-yaki on a ceramic plate, dessert, cassis vinegar drink, yogurt, and even soft drinks at the end. It was almost too much.The location is a bit far from the ferry terminal, and convenience stores are also near the ferry terminal, so don’t forget to shop beforehand. I’d like to stay here again when I visit.

It was my first visit to Miyajima, and this Accommodation was in the perfect location for enjoying the beautiful scenery of Itsukushima Shrine early in the morning and from evening into night. At low tide, you can go down to the beach right nearby and walk all the way to the Great Torii Gate. Mornings and evenings in Miyajima in March were colder than I expected, so I really appreciated being able to warm up in the bath right after check-in. The small, clean Room decorated with flowers, the colorful breakfast served in small dishes, and the pleasantly scented shampoo—this Accommodation’s thoughtful attention to detail left a strong impression.I walked from the port while browsing shops, but I heard that a shared taxi is also available; looking back as I was leaving, I wish I had used it to go as far as Tsutsumigaura.
