Kashikojima Hotel Bay Garden

We stayed for two nights, one in a Wide View Twin room and one in a Japanese-style room. The Wide View Twin was very spacious, and the Japanese-style room was also comfortably sized. The staff were kind and even recommended some local shops.We traveled without a car, but we had no problems.

We stayed here after a fishing trip. The building itself feels a bit old, but it was well maintained and very clean, so we had no issues. The hallways are a bit maze-like and we got lost at first, but only once. On the other hand, my companion said the retro Showa-era vibe was nice. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. However, it does not have an automatic lock, so be careful not to forget to lock the door. We didn’t use the large public bath so I can’t comment on it, but the in-room bath was fine. There is a fairly large common room with sofas that anyone can use; our group of four enjoyed chatting there while snacking, which was very convenient. What impressed us most—and what we really appreciated—was that although we had dinner reserved at a restaurant near Ugata Station, they drove us there. Overall, I think this is a Hotel with excellent value for money. We would stay again.
