Fukuoka Toei Hotel

Although it’s located along a main street, the Room was very quiet despite what I expected. Perhaps because it was a weekday, I wasn’t bothered at all by hallway noise, doors opening and closing, sounds from the neighboring Room, or even the ventilation fan and air conditioner—I slept very well. The Room had calm wallpaper and a luggage rack, and the counter-style table along the window was very convenient to use. The bathroom was spacious and extremely clean; I was genuinely impressed by the housekeeping staff’s work. The lobby is connected to the café next door, so I could wait until check-in with delicious coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. Above all, it was reassuring to be able to speak clearly with the front desk staff in their quiet, calm voices. It’s just off Watanabe-dori, so access to Tenjin, Hakata Station, and the airport is great—and being able to get to the dome on a single bus makes the location perfect! The amenity tea was very tasty; if there had also been coffee, it would have been a perfect 5 stars. I’ll stay here again when I come back to Fukuoka.

I stayed here last year and was so impressed by how delicious the breakfast was that I came back again.The side dishes felt homemade, and the mentaiko was unbelievably good again this time. I’m curious—what brand or where is that mentaiko from?I also wanted to have some bread, so I ate bread after finishing my rice.Everything was delicious. The raw egg option was great, but since I eat a boiled egg every morning, I’d be happy if boiled eggs were available too.Also, it would be helpful if amenities like facial toner were provided. The bath was spacious and easy to use. It was a bit disappointing that the bed direction in my Room this time was different from last time and the TV felt too close. Still, overall it was very good. I might come back again because I want to have the breakfast again.
