Nangoku Hotel

The Room is a bit old, but it is well cleaned and kept very tidy. The view of Nojimazaki Lighthouse is wonderful. The food was great, especially the event kushikatsu. It’s not quite restaurant-level dining, but there is an excellent selection of alcoholic drinks and snacks to enjoy with them. It’s easy to see why so many middle-aged and older groups stay here. You can really feel that the staff’s hard work helps maintain great value and quality. I know it must be tough, but I hope you keep up the good work. Of course, I’d like to stay again with my elderly parents.

We stayed with my daughter and my two grandchildren, four of us in total. It was reasonably priced for this season, and honestly I didn’t expect much—sorry—but it pleasantly surprised me!The exterior has a nostalgic Showa-era feel, and inside it has been nicely renovated; the tatami mats and walls in the Room were very clean.The pool was also clean, and the kids were beyond excited. They let us use the pool from 2:00 p.m. with an early check-in, which felt very considerate.The bath was excellent too! The semi-open-air bath was set to a lukewarm temperature, so the kids could soak for a long time. The shower water pressure was strong as well—very refreshing.Dinner buffet service was smooth even though it was fully booked.Best of all was the all-you-can-drink option—I ended up having lots of beer with my daughter.We’ll be back again.
