Best Western Plus Nagoya Sakae

I stayed for four nights to take a graduate school entrance exam.The Room was simple and compact, very clean, and amenities (except toothbrushes) were available at the front desk in a pick-and-choose system with a wide variety. The mouthwash was especially useful. My Room had no bathtub—shower only—but it was sufficient for the season. The sink had an island-style layout, which made the limited space feel more open. The bathroom area and the bed could be separated by a curtain, which was convenient when changing clothes.Also, the Hotel front desk staff were kind and very helpful—I truly appreciated their support.Breakfast was more substantial than I expected for this price.I saw many international guests as well. The location is great: close to the station, with a convenience store right in front. It’s easy to see why it’s fully booked—excellent value for money. This is a Hotel I’d like to use again.On the day of my exam, the Higashiyama Line stopped running, but I was able to get there via the Meijo Line. It seems that students staying near the Higashiyama Line didn’t make it in time for the start of the exam. Thanks to staying in Sakae, I was able to avoid that problem.

The Room was pleasant, with no wasted space, and the large TV was great.\nIt was also very nice that the bathroom area and the bed area could be separated with a curtain.\nTwo small things I noticed: there was no bottled water, so I wasn’t sure whether the tap water was drinkable, but luckily there were convenience stores and a drugstore nearby so I could easily get some.\nThe other thing—only slightly—was that a bit of morning light came in through the window curtains. Other than that, the location was excellent and it was a very good Hotel where I felt no inconvenience at all. It made me want to go to Nagoya specifically to stay at this Hotel again.\nThe staff’s smiles were very welcoming—not only at the front desk, but also the person who helped with cleaning.\nI would love to stay again.
