Simple and sufficient.
It’s close to the station, and if you go through the underground shopping arcade (Porta), you can get there with hardly any exposure to rain. The Room is simple but has everything you need. There’s a coffee shop and a Japanese restaurant on the first floor, and I enjoyed a relaxed breakfast at the coffee shop. It starts from around ¥1,000; there is an additional charge, but you can choose bread and drinks, and you get 5% off with your room key (I missed that and paid the regular price). The only downside was that some guests were noisy while chatting in the hallway, which was disappointing—but that’s really an issue of guest manners. I’m not sure whether there were guests in the rooms next to mine, but I didn’t hear any noise from them at all. With the bus terminal right in front and Kyoto Station’s central ticket gates nearby, the location was very convenient. In Kyoto I’ve only stayed at Hotels directly connected to the station until now, but I’d like to stay here again.

Close to Kyoto Station
Very close to Kyoto Station and reasonably priced, this accommodation was very convenient. The necessary amenities were provided, the room was clean, and the staff were very kind, making it a highly satisfying stay.

Convenient location and courteous service
I was pleased to be assisted by a foreign staff member who spoke to me politely with a smile. Of course, I understand it was according to a manual, but it felt like they were always the first to greet me, and their service was heartfelt. It was really just for sleeping, but I was able to stay very reasonably in front of the station, and the service was more courteous than the price suggested. I will use it again if I have the opportunity. I can't deduct stars when considering the amount I paid for the Room, but I felt the step between the bathroom and the Room was quite high, so I had to be careful every time. I think it's probably the result of some renovation... I appreciated the clean Facility.
