Ryokan Minawa

I gifted this Accommodation to my grandparents to celebrate their 80th birthday. They had a wonderful trip and were truly delighted, saying that the Ryokan’s meals, hospitality, and Onsen became cherished lifelong memories for them both. Thank you very much for your thoughtful care in helping them enjoy a comfortable stay.

Despite the light rain, a staff member welcomed us at the parking lot and kindly guided us through everything. Along the way, we were greeted by turtles, cats, and ducks, which quickly eased our child’s nerves and helped us forget the fatigue of traveling. When we arrived at our Room, they had thoughtfully prepared amenities for our 3-year-old, so we were able to stay in complete comfort. Then it was straight to the Onsen! The silky-smooth water left everyone’s skin feeling wonderfully soft. And the food was delicious—we finished every last bite. Since it was late May, fireflies lit up the night, and listening to the gentle stream made for a perfect evening cool-down. The next morning brought more warm hospitality, and they even took a commemorative photo for us before we left. Unlike the previous day, it was beautifully sunny, and we felt energized by the magnificent mountains of Minami Aso.
