La Vista Kirishima Hills (Kyoritsu Resort)

This was a Hotel I had wanted to stay at for a long time. At check-in, I was offered an upgraded La Vista Room. The moment I entered the room and saw Sakurajima and Mt. Kaimondake side by side in the center of the window, it was truly moving as someone from Kagoshima Prefecture. The hospitality, meals, Onsen, and Facility exceeded my expectations. I would definitely like to stay here again, and I want to recommend this place to friends and acquaintances.

Since I hadn’t taken a summer vacation, I decided on a last-minute trip to Kagoshima and made a Reservation.I knew this Hotel attracts many families, so I didn’t have especially high expectations,but the attentive service exceeded what I imagined, and I was very satisfied.The Room and Facility do show some age, and the shop is self-service, which some guests may find inconvenient,but it felt like those areas were kept simple so the staff could focus thoroughly on other services.From parking guidance to check-in and service at the restaurant, everything was thoughtful and made me feel very welcome.The bath in my Room was also a wonderful Onsen, and I really enjoyed it.These days, some places simplify too much and end up with disappointing service, or try too hard to be stylish but fall short on meals—or have unusually poor or unfriendly service. This Hotel was nothing like that; for this price on a weekend, the level of service was honestly surprising.There were many families staying here, but the overall guest atmosphere also felt pleasant.Even though I traveled alone, everyone treated me with great kindness—thank you very much.I’d love to visit again if I have the chance.
