Above all, the Horyu-ji tour exclusively for guests was outstanding. After a delicious breakfast, we explored Horyu-ji with a professional storyteller-guide who offers a different experience every day of the year—enjoyable for everyone from first-timers to true enthusiasts. With Nara poised for a boom as it becomes a candidate for World Cultural Heritage status, this is an Accommodation I’d love to visit again and again in different seasons while it’s still quiet.

Thank you very much for the wonderful time the other day. We had originally planned to visit with our dog, but she was unable to come, so we stayed as a family instead. Also, despite an issue with our Reservation, thank you sincerely to all the staff for handling everything so kindly and carefully. Even without our dog, you warmly welcomed our family stay, which made us very happy. We truly appreciate the thoughtful hospitality of everyone on your team. We were also very satisfied with the bath and the meals, and we were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

My spouse and I stayed from Sunday to Monday. The front desk staff were pleasant, and while the baths are not brand-new, we were very satisfied with the sauna and walking pool. I also joined a löyly event in the sauna for the first time. We chose the dinner buffet, which offered a good variety of dishes, all tasty, and my wife especially enjoyed the desserts. The parking fee was reasonable, and on Monday we were able to leave our car parked while we took a walk around the nearby Heijō Palace Site. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful, and we had a wonderful stay. It was a three-generation trip with my daughter and grandchild, and it became a great memory. We are truly grateful—thank you very much.

This is my second stay. The staff, the cleanliness throughout the property, the bath, and the Room were all very comfortable. I also love the atmosphere—it really feels like Nagata, or Osaka. The location near the station and the excellent access are perfect! I will definitely stay again!

When I’m on a business trip and there is a Fine Garden nearby, the Business Plan is my first choice. This was my first time using the Nara Horai location. The female front desk staff were extremely helpful, which immediately left me with a great impression. The Room and bath are spacious, the amenities are well stocked, there is an in-room massage chair, and although simple, dinner (with all-you-can-drink including alcohol) and breakfast are included (available even early in the morning, so you can eat before an early departure). All of this comes at a very reasonable price—much better value than staying at a Business Hotel. Once again, it was a very satisfying stay.

Although I had booked a room without a specific type, they upgraded me to a twin Room. The Facility was clean, and I could also take a bath in the morning. Breakfast was more than sufficient; I gave it four stars, but as a Hotel it would deserve five—there was even yogurt and Yakult. Some places handle breakfast vouchers casually, but here the Hotel staff properly collected them and greeted me, which I felt was excellent service.

The variety of amenities was very helpful. The room was clean, the bathroom was easy to use, and it was comfortable. There was a coin laundry and a paper cup-style ice machine. A charger was also available, which made it very convenient. The bed, TV, and other furnishings were also comfortable. Several staff members at the Hotel were kind and accommodating. I would love to visit again.

We stayed here with our children while sightseeing in Nara. There were kid-friendly events such as a festival plaza, so we could enjoy the Ryokan rather than just spending time in our Room. The Onsen was simple but wonderfully warming, and we were very satisfied with the breakfast buffet, including the variety of dishes as well as drinks and desserts. The staff’s hospitality was also pleasant. Thank you very much.

I stayed alone in a Twin Room for 2 nights/3 days. The Facility and carpet do feel a bit old, and sometimes I could hear what sounded like drainage pipes. However, the Room was spacious, the bathroom was roomy, and the sink area was wide and very easy to use. Amenities such as toothbrushes and body towels were available next to the front desk, so you can take only what you need. After getting off the elevator, there was a microwave and loungewear provided. The side table in the guest Room is quite low, so it’s fine for eating while sitting on the sofa, but it’s too low for opening a laptop or doing any writing work—it made my back hurt. (There is only a low table.) The lighting in the Room is also on the dim side. The window cannot be opened or closed, but if you open an inner shutter-like panel, you still get a reasonable amount of natural light. However, when that panel is open it gets in the way of the nearby bed. (It wasn’t an issue this time since I stayed alone.) The refrigerator has a small box-like compartment at the top inside; when set to “High” with bottled drinks inside, they were frozen by the morning of day 3. (They didn’t freeze after just one night.) About a 12-minute walk from Konoike-Shinden Station. About a 16-minute walk to Ractab Dome. There’s an inexpensive supermarket called OK about a 5–6 minute walk away, so shopping isn’t a problem. It clearly felt like it used to be an adult hotel-style property, but since it was inexpensive and overall very comfortable for me, I didn’t mind at all. I’d stay again if I have another opportunity.

The property was wonderful, with the hostess and all the staff being attentive and considerate. We are truly grateful for accommodating our unreasonable requests. The room and hallway were well-maintained, and the garden exuded a dignified beauty. Thank you for taking care of us.

We stayed in a sunny corner Room with a great view, and thanks to the nice weather we had a wonderfully refreshing time. The night view was perfect as well. The meals were outstanding—we enjoyed fresh duck and boar with no odor at all, delicately seasoned and elegant in flavor. Breakfast also came with many small side dishes, so satisfying that you’ll want seconds of rice; I recommend the plan with both dinner and breakfast included. It seems to be an older building, but once inside it is kept very clean, with no dustiness at all. Everything is well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. The proprietress was also very kind, and I would love to see her again. If you’re sightseeing around Nara Station it may feel a bit far, but the area around this Ryokan offers wonderful views from Mt. Ikoma and lets you enjoy a different side of Nara’s scenery, so I highly recommend it.

The room design was excellent, and the cute flowers placed here and there added a warm touch. The food was outstanding, and we enjoyed it at our own pace with in-room dining. The staff who served us were pleasant, and all other staff members were attentive, leaving no room for any unpleasant experiences. We would definitely love to stay again!

I stayed for three nights to visit the Expo. It was mid-September, and I paid just under 7,000 yen per night. The Hotel is close to the station, has a large public bath, and the breakfast was quite delicious. Although it is far from the city center, it is a highly valuable Hotel depending on your purpose, and I would like to stay again. Honestly, the women's public bath is small with only four washing stations, but I had it all to myself during my stay.

Although it was a No Meals Included stay, we stayed for two nights as a parent and child on the Standard Japanese-Style Room Plan. It is located on a hill with great views. The Japanese-style room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. However, the only downside was that we couldn’t adjust the shower temperature well in the bathroom—it would sometimes get too hot or too lukewarm. Perhaps because there were few guests, it was very quiet from night until morning, and we were able to relax. The parking lot was also large and easy to use. If we have a chance to stay in the Ikoma area again, we would like to try it with meals included next time. Thank you very much.

We visited with four relatives. We were worried about the weather until the day before, but it cleared up from the evening, and the night view from the Sky Terrace was wonderful. We chose Chinese cuisine, and in a private Room with a round table for four, the dishes were light and refreshing; even though we ate a lot, it didn’t feel heavy, and everything was delicious. The Room had been renovated, and we could smell the fresh tatami mats, which made our stay very comfortable. The bath was a bit far from our Room, but it was very nice. The only disappointing thing was that there was no mirror in the Room, and the toilet, bath/shower area, and sink were all together in one very small space, which was quite inconvenient for four women to use. Everyone—from the front desk staff to the dining staff—was pleasant and very kind. It’s close to central Osaka City, so we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. Thank you very much.

I used this accommodation for work and travel in Kyoto (with my family of four). Since accommodations in Kyoto city were expensive, we decided to stay here as we were traveling by car. It takes about 30-40 minutes from Kyoto city, and there is an onsen facility nearby, along with restaurants and supermarkets, which was convenient. The hotel facilities were clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. The parking lot was also large and convenient. Breakfast was great as well. I think I will choose this place again next time. I stayed one night in a single Room. I was feeling anxious about my stay, but when I spoke with the staff at check-in, they kindly listened and helped me right away. It really put me at ease and allowed me to focus on what I needed to do. It was a huge help—thank you so much again. Everyone was very kind to me, and thanks to that, I achieved a good result. The Room was quiet and relaxing, and the air conditioner had already cooled the Room well when I entered, which felt great. It did feel a bit old, but it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely like to stay again next time.
