I had to go to Tokyo for an errand, and when I checked to see if there were any events that day, it turned out to be the famous Sumida River Fireworks Festival. Since I’d always wanted to see it at least once, I made a Reservation at this Hotel in Ryogoku. Without knowing anything beforehand, I arrived to find that the street in front of the Hotel was part of a one-way detour route toward Kuramae Bridge, a great spot for viewing the fireworks—so by simply following the flow of people, I ended up being able to watch them. It felt like a lucky break. The Hotel even handed out uchiwa fans to guests heading to the festival, which was a thoughtful touch. As for the Facility itself, there’s a convenience store on the second floor, which is very handy. The large public bath in the basement also looked appealing and I really wanted to try it, but I was so exhausted that I used the bath in my Room instead—so unfortunately I didn’t get to use it this time. An excellent Hotel for the price. I’d definitely like to stay again.

Great location. I was really torn about where to meet up with my daughters who live in Yokohama, but we decided to gather in Ryogoku. It was a great choice. It has convenient access not only to Yokohama, but also to Hamacho, Ginza, Oshiage, and Tokyo Station, so we agreed to get together again as a family before we parted ways. The chanko hot pot at breakfast was delicious.

I wanted a non-smoking Room, but none were available at the time of Reservation. Since my wife is sensitive to the smell of cigarettes, I emailed to confirm, and received a prompt and courteous reply, which allowed us to head to the Hotel with peace of mind. On the day, our Room was changed to a non-smoking Room, and we were also able to relax in the large public bath and recover from our trip. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

Has it been about half a year? I stayed for one night, and there were welcome drinks, including coffee and even wine. I’m happy to see the improved service.\nI will continue to use this Hotel. Thank you.

We could see Tokyo Skytree from our Room, and it was wonderful. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The staff greeted us with warm smiles, which made our stay very comfortable and pleasant, and it became a great memory. It was a Hotel where we would definitely like to stay again.

My father stayed here and came home all smiles—he was very satisfied! lol It was a rainy day, but the Hotel staff were so kind and even lent him a large umbrella. He also said the breakfast omelet was delicious, and he had a wonderful time! Thank you very much!

It may have been just bad luck, but the noise from the neighboring Room was loud and made it hard to fall asleep. I could clearly hear footsteps and movement inside the Room, and even snoring, so I felt the walls might be a bit thin. It’s also possible the neighbor was simply noisy. Since I also tend to snore loudly, there’s a good chance I ended up bothering others as well, so I don’t think I can stay here with peace of mind next time. The location is excellent—very close to Tokyo Station and within easy walking distance from the station—but if you have large luggage (a suitcase), be aware that depending on which exit you use, some areas do not have escalators or elevators, which can make it difficult. The Room itself is extremely compact, but more than enough if you just need a place to sleep. It also seemed to be cleaned thoroughly and was very clean.

I booked this stay to compete in a jiu-jitsu tournament in Kinshicho. Luckily, there was a room available, which was a huge help. The location and access were excellent. My only regret was missing the New Japan Pro-Wrestling event at Ryogoku Kokugikan nearby.

I originally made a Reservation for two nights, from 8/2 to 8/4. Later, I added a Reservation for 8/1, and only smoking Rooms were available, so I thought that even though it was a Multiple Night Stay, I would have to change Rooms. However, you arranged it as a three-night non-smoking stay. Thank you for the Hotel’s thoughtful consideration. Thanks to you, I had a very comfortable stay.

The staff was very polite. It was a corner Room on a Friday night, and it was very quiet and relaxing. The Hotel was clean and seemed either newly built or recently renovated, with stylish design. The bathroom and washroom are separate, making it spacious to use. Conveniently located within walking distance from Asakusabashi Station and Kuramae Station, perfect for sightseeing or business trips in Tokyo.

The room is opened with a traditional key and is somewhat dark. If the lighting in the unit bath were a bit brighter, it would have been perfect for me personally. For just watching a live show and sleeping, the location near the station is convenient with plenty of dining options like Hidakaya and others, as well as convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and FamilyMart, so there’s nothing to worry about.

Conveniently located and reasonably priced, with just the essential amenities—overall a very comfortable stay. My child who traveled with me was disappointed, saying, “It’s supposed to be a weird Hotel, but it wasn’t weird at all!” They were a little nervous about the welcome at the front desk, though. In the elevator and on the first floor, the spicy aroma from the curry restaurant was so tempting that we decided to have breakfast there. Being able to enjoy authentic naan and curry in the morning is a unique highlight you won’t find elsewhere. The masala chai was delicious.

Conveniently located within easy reach of Ryogoku Station on both the Oedo Line and the Sobu-Chuo Line, with many nearby restaurants and shops for dining and shopping. When entering, there was a system I hadn’t experienced at other hotels, such as face registration, so I was a little unsure at first. However, it wasn’t difficult, and I was able to complete the process smoothly. There was also a way to make inquiries on the spot, so it didn’t seem like there would be any trouble. Upon entering the Room, I was immediately impressed by how spacious it was and by the abundance of greenery. The Facility is well equipped with various modern and convenient features, and the main sauna allows self-service löyly, so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. We bought various foods to bring in, made snacks in the kitchen as well, enjoyed them with the complimentary Prosecco provided as a perk, took turns using each bathtub whenever we liked, and fully enjoyed the sauna—overall offering a high degree of freedom and making our stay extremely satisfying. During this stay, we consulted about adding one more guest than originally planned. The staff explained everything very carefully regarding the system and kindly handled all procedures for adding an additional guest. We truly appreciated their thoughtful support. We were all saying that we would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much for providing such a wonderful stay experience.

While looking for a Hotel near my destination with a separate bath and toilet, I came across this one, which had highly rated Reviews, and decided to stay here. Everything was smooth, including the Reservation process, the pre-arrival email confirmation, check-in, and the follow-up email after check-in. The simple (in a good way) style made for a comfortable two-night stay. The only thing that concerned me was the checkout time. When I made the Reservation, I confirmed that checkout was at 10:00, but the post-check-in confirmation email said 11:00. I should have checked at the time, but it seems it really was 10:00—I ended up checking out late and was reminded about it. I’m sorry for causing inconvenience. There were no cleaning issues like some others mentioned; everything was well cleaned and nothing bothered me. I would like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

Toothbrushes, razors, other amenities, and two bottles of water as a service made me very happy. With this, the cleanliness of the bathroom and Room has become my favorite, and I have been a fan of APA Hotel for the past three years.

Although it is a capsule Hotel, it features a large public bath with a cypress tub, a lounge, and welcome drinks available at the first-floor café. The mattresses are thick and fluffy, ensuring comfortable sleep. The lockers are spacious enough to fit suitcases. While there are many foreign guests, everyone was quiet and well-mannered.

I stayed with my child. It's not extremely close to the station, but it was quiet and we could relax. Having separate bath and toilet facilities was very convenient. I would use it again if I have the chance. The entrance of the Hotel was a bit hard to find, so I deducted one star for that. Other than that, it was comfortable.

I used this Hotel for an overnight stay because I had an early schedule the next day. They offered the perfect Plan: late check-in after 8:00 PM and early check-out by 8:00 AM, so I made a Reservation. - The front desk service is minimal, so you can’t really relax until you get into your Room. That said, if you head straight to your Room, it’s not an issue. - My Room was right in front of the elevator, so I was a bit worried about noise, but it was mostly just occasional signs of people passing by and didn’t bother me. It might be tough if a loud group walks through. - The bed pulls out to become a double, but since I stayed alone, I could use the extra space in the Room. Overall it feels like a standard single-size Room—fine for one person and not uncomfortably small. - The Room was properly cleaned. - Amenities are well stocked; everything you need is provided (including body towel and hair dryer), so as long as you have a change of clothes, you’ll be fine. - The bathtub is surprisingly spacious—or maybe deep? Smaller guests may find it quite relaxing. - On the other hand, the toilet area is extremely tight; even sitting down with your legs forward feels cramped. - In general, the entire bathroom/toilet space is very small, making it difficult to use the sink area comfortably as well. - The air conditioning noise may be a bit loud. There’s no breakfast or similar services, so if you’re looking at this Hotel purely as an affordable base just to sleep, it’s efficient with no frills and I’d recommend it.

The Facility is sufficient. The strength here lies in the balance between location and price, so if the price increases further, the balance may be disrupted.

Check-in was late this time, and it was just an overnight stay. The room was simple yet comfortable. There is a lobby on the 7th floor reception area where many international guests were enjoying themselves.
