We stayed to celebrate a birthday anniversary. The hot spring water was excellent, and the amenities were well stocked. In the bathroom refrigerator, there were small sherbet treats (for heatstroke prevention?), along with water and tea. At dinner, there was a surprise that made us very happy, and we were able to spend this special time in a meaningful way. Thank you very much.

Both the Room and the Onsen are wonderful, and the staff and the proprietress are warm and welcoming—every visit is truly relaxing.

We stayed in the South Wing. We loved having a separate bedroom and a massage chair, and the entrance and wash area were spacious as well. In-room dining, a semi-open-air bath in the Room, the large public bath, and the lounge—everything we wish for on an Onsen trip was there. The meals were delicious, made with carefully selected local ingredients and thoughtfully prepared dish by dish. We were impressed by the considerate touches such as chairs near the elevator, as well as the original coffee and tea provided in the Room. Above all, it was wonderful to see how efficiently and pleasantly all of the staff worked. We would love to visit again in a different season.

The staff provided excellent service, from our arrival to meal service. The large public bath and the Room were very clean, and the food was delicious, making our stay very comfortable. It became a wonderful memory of our family trip. Thank you very much.

The bath was very relaxing. The view was great. The food was also delicious. I had imagined traditional ryokan-style Japanese meals, but instead we enjoyed a delicious course-style dinner.

During Golden Week on 5/3, our first stay was so wonderful that my wife and I couldn’t wait to come back. Last time we stayed in Room 40, and this time we stayed in Room 50. This time we checked in early and chose a plan that included a 120-minute private session at “Musouan” (sauna, cold plunge, and open-air bath). We repeated sauna with löyly followed by the cold plunge, then finished in the inner open-air bath. Neither of us usually spends much time in saunas, but “Musouan” was on another level—we enjoyed an incredibly relaxing experience. We also had the best blissful moments soaking in the spacious open-air bath in our room—stretching out fully and enjoying the silky-smooth, serum-like water. We were able to enjoy it five times: before dinner, after dinner, before bed, before breakfast, and after breakfast. The owner modestly describes the food as simple country cooking, but since they run a tofu shop as well, the tofu dishes were exceptionally delicious. As we don’t eat game meat, they kindly changed all meat dishes to beef for us—and once again the quality was top-class. The private dining room is quiet and very relaxing. The room was extremely comfortable (especially the bedding—essential for a good night’s sleep!), and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches: the indoor bath and washing area layout, plenty of bath towels and towels with convenient towel racks. The washroom was spacious as well—overall comfort was outstanding. Both the open-air bath and room are large so cleaning must be difficult, yet they kindly accommodated our late check-out at 12:00. It can be inconvenient to find your way here since there are no signs or guideboards leading you to the parking area. The welcoming and send-off are handled by one cheerful proprietress alone, so it almost feels bad asking her to carry luggage. There are no nameplates on rooms either, and it wouldn’t be fair to say every part of the garden is perfectly maintained. Even so, this inn offers something special that makes all of that fade away—a truly extraordinary escape from everyday life. We definitely want to return—ideally twice a year!

The Room was spacious and comfortable! The entire building has central air conditioning, plus an additional AC unit in the Room, so you have a wide range of temperature control options. Dinner was Japanese cuisine and breakfast was a buffet; there were so many choices, all of them tempting (so many that it’s impossible to try everything). When we visit Greenland again, this Hotel will be our only choice. The only disappointment this time was the rain, but the Hotel was better than expected, so we had a very fulfilling vacation.

Since we were traveling via the expressway, it was very convenient being close to the interchange. There is also a 7-Eleven on the property, which is handy (though it closes at midnight). We didn’t have dinner this time, but there is a restaurant in the Hotel, and nearby options such as Joyfull and Hirai. There’s also a roadside station across the road, making it an excellent base for travel. The Room was quite standard, but clean and comfortable. Since only smoking single-bed Rooms were available, we stayed in a bunk-bed Room instead. We noticed some flickering in the bedside light, and the alarm clock battery seemed to be running low. We would like to stay again.

I stayed one night with breakfast as a solo traveler. The friendly, playful proprietress was wonderful. My room was in the older wing; it does show its age, but I was impressed by how well it’s been maintained. It also had a modern toilet, which was a nice touch. There’s no mirror at the sink, but there is a vanity with a mirror in the space behind the shoji screen—it made me feel nostalgic, like being at my grandmother’s house. By chance there were few other guests, so I could enjoy both the indoor bath and the open-air bath all to myself whenever I went. The water quality is simply excellent. The temperature is on the mild side—perfect for someone like me who likes to soak slowly—and especially in the open-air bath, I felt like I could stay in forever. There’s also a waterfall-style shower that felt amazing. Breakfast was so filling I thought my stomach might burst. With a wide variety of dishes plus fried eggs and sausages—and even a hot pot—I was completely satisfied. An incredible value. The proprietress’s skin was so smooth too; it really is a lovely inn. I’d love to stay again.

From check-in onward, the staff are always courteous, and I can stay comfortably every time. I always book with breakfast, but this time it wasn’t included by mistake; however, they were able to add it at check-in. I’m planning to visit again next month. I’m already looking forward to it.

I made a Reservation together with the on-site izakaya and was able to relax here on the last day of Silver Week. AZ Hotel is consistently reliable in terms of Facility, amenities, meals, and pricing, so I felt comfortable staying here with confidence. With breakfast included at this price, it offers excellent value for money. The front desk staff were truly kind as well, and I had a very pleasant one-night stay. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay at this Hotel. Last time I stayed in a Japanese-style Room, and this time I had made a Reservation for a twin Room (+ an extra bed), but you kindly prepared a four-bed Room for us. Last time, the Room and Facility felt a bit dated, but this time it didn’t feel old at all—perhaps it has been renovated—and we had a very comfortable stay. I especially loved how the pillows sank just right; I liked them so much that I wanted the same ones for myself. Also, even before check-in, you thoughtfully called to let us know that “the Room was ready earlier than expected.” We were tired after spending the whole day at Greenland in midsummer from opening time, so being able to rest in our Room right away was extremely helpful. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was wonderfully comfortable from the moment we walked in. As other Reviews mention, dinner did feel warm, but there were plenty of cold drinks as well as shaved ice and soft-serve ice cream available, so we didn’t find it inconvenient. Breakfast also had just the right amount of variety and was delicious. It seemed fully booked, yet we never felt crowded inside the Hotel and were able to relax comfortably. The only thing was that we went to the bath during its busiest time and had some waiting time, but it was within an acceptable range. The Onsen after a long day of activities was wonderful. The next day we used the pool, and when staff told us “You’re welcome to use the Onsen after 11:00,” we gratefully did so. The changing area also had plastic bags for swimsuits and towels prepared—it truly felt like every detail was taken care of. I would love to stay at Hotel Blanca again on our next visit to Greenland. After arriving at the Accommodation and taking a short break, we headed to the spacious open-air Onsen. Other guests were already there and said the water was amazing—like a beauty serum. After trying it ourselves, we completely agreed. The silky-smooth water felt incredibly soothing. The cave bath seemed even more moisturizing, making it an Onsen you could stay in forever. Not only was the large public bath wonderful, but the in-Room bath was also beautifully made of stone. I can’t even count how many times we used it during our stay. The meals were also delicious, and we were very satisfied. We also really enjoyed sightseeing at Kikuchi Castle Ruins, Yamaga’s Sakura-yu, and Kikuchi Gorge.

Everything was excellent. The breakfast, in particular, was outstanding.

If you request a high-floor, ocean-side room, you can enjoy a wonderful view. Since availability is limited, it may be worth asking in advance. Route Inn breakfasts are generally similar across locations, but this one had a better selection and quality than other Route Inns. By taxi, it’s closer from Nishitetsu Omuta Station.

We chose this place to make our son’s wish come true: “I want to stay in a camper and have a BBQ!” It was perfect for us because it eliminated all the worries—no need to drive an unfamiliar camper, no concerns about bathing or using the toilet at night, and no hassle with BBQ prep. We stayed in a foreign-sized trailer that was even bigger than a camper, and the kids were thrilled. It came fully equipped with a toilet, kitchen, refrigerator, TV, air conditioner, and bedding set, so we could enjoy a fun break from everyday life. There’s a supermarket, 100-yen shop, drugstore, and convenience store nearby, which made shopping for ingredients easy. A BBQ set was already prepared on the table in front of the trailer, so after check-in we could freely enjoy playing at the park, meals, and bathing. The attached hot spring facility is also great because you can use it even after check-out. After spending time at Greenland (about 10 minutes away by car), you can still stop by for a bath. Note: towels are not provided after check-out, so we recommend bringing your own. The trailer’s cups are glass tumblers only. If you plan to drink hot beverages like morning coffee, it may be helpful to bring a heat-resistant mug. Children’s tableware was available to borrow at the hot spring facility shop. Overall, I think this is an excellent place to relax with family or friends.

Although we arrived a little late for check-in, the hostess kindly welcomed us, and we were able to relax and recover from our fatigue in the Onsen. The Room was also comfortable—we just wish we had arrived a bit earlier to take our time. We would like to stay again.

My mother stayed here with her friends. Although it was not covered by the recovery discount, they were able to stay at a reasonable price and were satisfied with the room, meals, and bath. The portion sizes and seasoning were just right, and everyone was happy.

The room was spacious, the meals were excellent, and the rates were reasonable, so we had a great trip. Next time, I’d like to stay when there’s an event on.

The hotel felt older than I expected, but the hot spring water was great. There’s also a radon hot-spring sauna and an outdoor bath, so I was able to relax. Since it’s on slightly higher ground, the sunrise and night views were beautiful too. The room has tatami flooring, but it was clean. There’s also a refrigerator. The toilet is a bit small, but it didn’t bother me. Overall, the value for money is excellent. They also had an EV charging station. One thing: I wish the hair dryers in the large public bath were better. The airflow temperature is low and it takes a long time to dry hair. Maybe that’s why some guests brought their own? When traveling, it’s hard to bring a hair dryer, so please consider improving this!
