A relaxing, tranquil Accommodation for adults. Watch the ever-changing sky, sea, and forest, and the sparkling stars; soak in the Onsen whenever you like; and enjoy high-quality meals... Above all, the staff’s hospitality is outstanding. During my stay, they never once asked for my name or Room number, and they even adjusted the end time of dinner to fit my spa Reservation. Thanks to their seamless communication and thoughtful care, I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. I will be back again. Thank you very much.

It was the best stay. The hospitality was better than any Hotel I have stayed at, and the staff were truly wonderful. We enjoyed hearing various stories during the Shuttle Service ride. We were completely satisfied with everything—the Room, amenities, and minibar. The view from the Room was absolutely breathtaking, and we were able to spend a truly happy day. Of course, the food was also very satisfying. The main dishes—venison and sweetfish—were incredibly delicious and made us want to come back again.

We stayed for two nights during the Obon holiday period in August. From our email exchanges before arrival, we already felt this was a very attentive Accommodation, and our stay fully lived up to that impression. The Accommodation has the charm of a traditional Japanese Ryokan, yet it never feels outdated—rather, it offers an elegant and calming atmosphere. What impressed us most was how impeccably clean everything was wherever we went. Even in shared areas such as the lobby, the large public bath, and the massage area, we didn’t notice any dust or litter at all. Needless to say, the Room was also cleaned with great care, including the private open-air bath attached to it. The Onsen water temperature in our Room was just right, allowing us to soak and relax comfortably; even after bathing we stayed pleasantly warm, and we felt it was truly high-quality Onsen water. We only used the large public bath once or twice because it felt a bit shallow for us, but both the washing area and changing room were spacious and very comfortable to use. The private bath was also excellent; however, the only issue was that the tub surface inside was extremely slippery—I nearly slipped and fell. I later noticed there was a warning sign, but it might have been helpful if someone had mentioned this in advance. What made us happiest about both the large public bath and private baths was that towels (both sizes) and amenities were all provided there. These days many places ask guests to bring towels from their Room to shared baths (or private baths), which is always inconvenient and frustrating. Here, towels were available at every bathing area—and there were plenty of towels in the Room as well—so we could enjoy bathing very comfortably. The only Facility/amenity improvement I would hope for is regarding the indoor slippers provided in the building: they were quite tight around my toes and didn’t fit me well, so my toes rubbed painfully enough to peel skin. If possible, I would have appreciated having an alternative option such as sandals alongside them. The meals were delicious with no particular complaints; however, I’m giving four stars simply because I hope they will become even better going forward. Overall: a comfortable and spotless Accommodation; every staff member (including housekeeping) was genuinely polite yet friendly, with wonderful thoughtfulness throughout. It’s an Accommodation we would definitely like to visit again.

Breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options individually tailored—a perfect touch of luxury. Just before checking out, Mount Fuji appeared again as if bidding us farewell—it truly made this an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this accommodation as an absolute must

We had the pleasure of enjoying the private dinner Plan at Soro Residence. The cuisine was not only delicious, but each dish was beautifully presented like a work of art. The flowers arranged to match the dishes and the floral decorations throughout the Room were truly wonderful, creating a special space that felt extraordinary. The wine pairing was also exceptional—each time we paired a sip of wine after a bite, both were elevated, and we were repeatedly moved by how much the flavors opened up. In addition, all staff provided warm and attentive hospitality from start to finish, allowing us to spend a comfortable and luxurious time. Thank you very much for an unforgettable experience.

With a homely atmosphere and very kind staff, I had a truly comfortable stay. Every dish was delicious, and I was completely satisfied. Thank you for taking care of us on our family trip. Check-in while enjoying a welcome drink was a nice touch, and the Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There were two bathing options: a free open-air bath and a large public bath, and we could even see Mt. Fuji from the large public bath. Dinner was delicious across the board; although we were full by the end of the meal, the house specialty “Izu Mabushi” was light and refreshing, so we enjoyed it easily. Breakfast featured a variety of side dishes served in small portions on multiple small plates—beautifully presented, and every dish was tasty. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming, which made our stay even better. We would love to come again. Thank you very much.

Because it was a three-day weekend right at the start of summer vacation, it ended up a little over our original budget—but we wanted to stay here so badly that we made the Reservation anyway. And once we actually stayed… it was worth every yen—no, even more than that. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The location was even better than expected: right in front of us were white sand and a blue sea. There were quite a few families and international guests, but at night it was very quiet. You can head straight to the beach from the Hotel, and everything was thoughtfully prepared—dedicated beach sandals, a washing machine, towels, and more. I also really appreciated that when you take off your slippers there, you can place them neatly into a shoe box labeled with your Room name—something I found especially reassuring as someone who’s a bit particular about cleanliness. The Room was truly spacious, spotless, and very functional. Everything felt refined from corner to corner—the washbasin, furnishings, wall colors, decorations—all beautifully coordinated and calming. A small detail, but the loungewear fabric was very soft and had buttons so it stayed in place comfortably. The semi-open-air bath in the guest room had excellent water quality and temperature. Being able to soak slowly while looking out at the ocean—with no insects flying around—was pure bliss. We enjoyed our in-room meals while chatting pleasantly with our attendant; everything was delicious. The simmered whole kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) was especially impressive—large and full of flavor—truly “this is Izu!” That said, personally I would have preferred beef as steak (even a small portion) rather than chilled shabu-shabu wrapped with vegetables. If many guests are older adults, it would be great if there were an option available even with an additional charge. Breakfast included many dishes as well—I ended up eating quite a lot first thing in the morning! Overall this Accommodation deserves high marks across the board; if I had to be strictly critical, dinner alone could have felt slightly more luxurious or surprising—something that makes you think “This is exceptional—I’ve never tasted anything like it.” Even so, it was such a wonderful Accommodation that I absolutely want to return again next year. In addition to the in-room open-air bath and the Onsen, we were especially impressed by the ocean view from our Room, and we were able to relax and unwind in a quiet setting. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we also enjoyed meals and drinks via room service; the dining space itself was wonderful as well. The overall atmosphere and interior design throughout the property felt calm and comfortable, making it a stay where we could truly enjoy the luxury of doing nothing. We made a last-minute Reservation, and the Accommodation was very clean. There was also a welcome drink, and it felt like a relaxing space as soon as we arrived. For luggage, they lent us a cart, but we had to carry everything ourselves; however, there is an elevator, so it wasn’t an issue. Since our room was on the second floor, the view was more like a small glimpse of the ocean in the distance. The area is famous for beautiful sunsets, but I completely forgot and scheduled dinner at sunset time, so we couldn’t see it—such a shame. If the weather is nice, choosing a later dinner time might be better since the beach is close and you can take your time enjoying the sunset. The dog run isn’t very large, but our dog seemed to have fun running around. The meals were very generous portions and left us full. We could also order food for our dog and enjoy dining together, which was great. The photo spots were cute as well. We’d love to stay again if we have another chance.

Traveling with our dog, everything—price, service, cleanliness, etc.—was excellent. [Things that would make it even better] - It would be helpful to have plastic bags in the bathroom for wet clothes. - At breakfast, some dishes didn’t have labels, so we couldn’t tell what they were; it would be nice if all items were labeled. - A lid for the pet crate would make it easier to leave our dog alone with peace of mind. - It would be great to have a safety measure on the balcony fence to prevent dogs from falling, just in case they slip out by accident. - Better pruning of the trees around the open-air bath would make it even nicer. - It would be nice to have one lane in the pool for guests who want to swim laps.
