We stayed on the day of the summer fireworks festival. What we liked All of the staff were kind. They greeted us with warm smiles and calm, friendly service. Above all, the food was delicious! The “Koyoi Zen” dinner featured ingredients that make the most of this coastal area, along with local fruit—everything was very satisfying. You can order not only drinks but also additional dishes. The kids’ dinner was generous in portion size and packed with child-friendly favorites. Some Reviews mentioned that sweet shrimp wasn’t always available at the breakfast buffet, but it was there this time—unlimited fresh sweet shrimp was truly appreciated. Also, during the fireworks festival, they opened up the 7th floor for 500 yen including a drink, plus potato chips as a snack. We could watch the fireworks from great seats at a relaxed pace—it was fantastic! What could be improved The faucet in our Room had a crack, and water sprayed out from an unexpected place every time we turned it on, leaving everything around it soaked. In the large public bath, the partitions between washing stations were low, so you end up making eye contact with people next to you and water splashes over. Overall, there were so many positives that we could overlook these issues. Still, we would have been even more satisfied if the Facility had been a bit cleaner and better maintained. Highly recommended for visiting roadside stations in northern Hokkaido and for attending the Haboro fireworks festival!

It is conveniently located near Matsue Castle, and we stayed here while sightseeing.

We stayed with seven people and one Shiba Inu. The house was spacious, well stocked with amenities, and the kitchen was very comfortable to use. The area was very quiet, and it felt like we had the wide ocean all to ourselves. Fishing for whiting from the concrete pier was fantastic. The sauna was also excellent, and cooling down while looking out at the sea afterward was pure bliss. Kids, adults, and our dog were all very satisfied.

The simple service was nice. Even though it was very affordable, it included two solid meals, which was great. Also, since there were few other guests, I could relax in the Onsen, and it was great that the massage chairs were free as well. The gratin and pudding were delicious.

For our first night in Kyoto, we wanted to go bar-hopping, so we chose the RIHGA Royal Hotel near the station. There is a free Shuttle Service at certain times, but it’s only a 7–8 minute walk. From the welcome to being shown to our Room, the service was excellent. A fully separated bath and toilet is a must for us, so the Japanese-Western style Room was perfect. The bathtub is very spacious—big enough even for men to stretch out. It also fills quickly, which was great. Another plus: two bath towels per person, two face towels per person, and bathrobes. The Room was clean and very well maintained. We checked out early in the morning, and they handled it kindly and smoothly. This is a Hotel I’d love to stay at again.

We visited this Hotel to celebrate a special anniversary. During the day, we enjoyed chatting in our Room, and with the Executive Floor benefits we spent an elegant time in the 1st-floor lounge while enjoying high-quality plated food and drinks. That evening, we had a celebratory dinner course at Ryuhou, the Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor. The atmosphere was luxurious and refined, and the staff’s hospitality was outstanding. We were able to fully enjoy an elegant and delicious Chinese course meal. They even added a congratulatory message to our dessert plate, and being able to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime anniversary at this Hotel—and at Ryuhou—made us truly happy! Our Junior Suite offered a panoramic view of Sakai City from a high floor. Separated from the bedroom area, there was a spacious sofa and table arranged comfortably. It was quiet, and since the in-room minibar was complimentary, it was perfect for relaxing and chatting while enjoying canned beer and snacks. The bathroom area is also luxurious, with a separate shower booth and toilet, plus a jet bath function. From our east-facing Room, we could also faintly see the UNESCO World Heritage site of Emperor Nintoku’s Tomb amid the cityscape of Sakai. As a local sightseeing recommendation: Daisen Park is about 10 minutes by car from the Hotel. Within its grounds there is an attraction where you can ride in a hot-air balloon; from about 100 meters up you can take in the majestic view of Emperor Nintoku’s Tomb. I highly recommend taking a short trip for this balloon experience! The views from above—Sakai City, Osaka Bay, the Ikoma mountain range, and keyhole-shaped kofun burial mounds—are breathtaking. This Hotel has been my favorite for many years. I’ve stayed here for anniversaries like this one or simply to spend relaxing holidays. During COVID-19 restrictions when it was difficult to travel outside Osaka Prefecture, I refreshed myself by changing my mood in Rooms with beautiful views. One year when a typhoon was approaching, I also stayed here for safety reasons and spent the night with peace of mind. No matter what is happening around us, all of your staff have always provided consistent hospitality and welcomed me with calm smiles—I am truly grateful every time. With so many wonderful staff members here, I’m convinced once again that this will continue to be a beloved Hotel for years to come! I will definitely visit again!

We stayed for two nights on our trip to Okinawa. The Room was spacious and clean, which left a great impression. Since we got drenched in sweat during the trip, being able to use the coin laundry was a big help. Breakfast was satisfying—we could even have taco rice and (a small amount of) Soki soba. A few minor points that could be improved: - The elevator signage inside the Hotel was a bit hard to understand; I didn’t realize until the second day that there are vending machines besides the ones on the 1st floor. - There were no loungewear in the Room, and it took me a while to notice that you can freely pick them up from the elevator hall. - I only realized at the washing machines that detergent must be purchased at the front desk, so I had to make an extra round trip. None of these were really the Hotel’s fault—just things I would have figured out if I’d thought about it—but having them clearly noted would have been convenient.

We stayed as a family. The Room is equipped with a kitchen and microwave, so we were able to stay comfortably even with small children. Baby items can also be borrowed by asking the front desk. We would like to stay again and highly recommend it.

Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, with more variety than we could possibly try, and we were very satisfied. The location right in front of the sea offered amazing views, and we would love to stay again. It was a little disappointing that there was no morning bath on weekdays, but the facilities were spacious and clean, and overall we had a wonderful, fulfilling stay!

The Hotel staff provided attentive service, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. Additionally, the sports Facility was well-equipped, and our entire family had an enjoyable time. Thank you for the delicious meals as well.

From our Room, the beautiful Sea of Japan stretched out below us. Listening to the waves crashing against the rocks, we spent a truly luxurious time watching the sun slowly sink into the endless horizon. The view from the bath was also outstanding. The meals were kaiseki cuisin

It was my first time visiting Shodoshima. The two-meal Plan at this price is an excellent value. Sashimi was served with five different ways to enjoy it (local soy sauce, olive oil, etc.), and every dish made with local ingredients was very satisfying. The Facility feels a bit dated, but the Room, the bath, the views from the restaurant, and the wonderful service from all the staff greatly increased our overall satisfaction. Thank you very much for taking care of us. I would like to stay again.

The Room’s open-air bath was wonderful. The meals were more than enough for women; men might find them a bit light, but for those who drink alcohol, I felt they were sufficient. I think it would be better if breakfast times were staggered. The staff’s sense of distance also felt very comfortable to me. Sorry to mention this at the end. Thank you very much.

All of the dishes were delicious, and the shabu-shabu and shellfish dishes in particular were outstanding! We could really taste the quality of the ingredients, and we were very satisfied. The service was also very attentive, making our stay truly comfortable. Both the food and service were excellent—this is a Ryokan we would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much!

The Taiza crab we were most looking forward to was served in our preferred style and at our own pace, allowing us to fully enjoy it. The other fish dishes besides crab were also incredibly delicious—the meals were outstanding. The shuttle service to the station was very helpful

We traveled with my son’s family and looked for a Room where we could all stay together. The Room was spacious and had a jacuzzi, which everyone enjoyed. The dinner course was also excellent, with very tender meat. One disappointment was that there was no washing machine in the Room. There was a coin laundry, but we had to keep track of the time and go pick up our laundry, which made it hard to fully relax. Since this is a Resort Hotel with many beachgoers, I hope this will be improved.

From check-in until our car left the Ryokan, the staff naturally came outside to welcome and see us off. I think there are very few Ryokan or Hotels that do this. The preparation of the futon bedding and in-Room dining was pleasant, and it made for a wonderful stay. Every dish was delicious, and the portions were very satisfying. If I had one request, I would be happy if there were a bit more local vegetables—especially for guests in their 50s like us. This may be a matter of preference, but I felt the miso soup would have been even better if it were served a little hotter. Similarly, I would have preferred the water in the large public bath to be slightly hotter. What impressed me most was how thoroughly everything was cleaned. Even at expensive Hotels or Ryokan, you often notice dust in hidden areas or peeling wallpaper and small flaws here and there, but everything visible was very clean. Precisely because it isn’t brand-new, it felt especially comfortable. It was my first stay here, but I feel like I got great value. My only concern is that many of the staff seemed to be around my age or a bit older, so I hope this Ryokan will continue for many years and be passed on to the next generation so guests can keep enjoying it. This property is in a wonderful location right in front of the sea. A walk along the shore before dinner was the best. Although it is in front of the swimming beach, it was quiet, and we really enjoyed the delicious meals.

The check-in service was excellent, and the Room was comfortable, so I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. I would like to stay here again next time. From JR Bentencho Station, it felt a bit far when carrying a suitcase, so next time I plan to use the subway.

As the Hotel is located on the upper floors of the relatively new (2-year-old) Chunichi Building, it is connected to the station underground, so you can get around without getting wet. Since it’s a commercial building with several restaurants in the basement, we also recommend relaxing and spending time at the Hotel. There are department stores nearby as well, making it a convenient location for dining in a lively area and for sightseeing anywhere. The Room was spacious, and the bathtub was deep enough to relax. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.
