I stayed here during the Obon holiday. I came thinking, “The view looks nice, and as long as I can sleep well, that’s enough,” but in the best way possible, my expectations were completely exceeded. This time I stayed in a Japanese-style room before the renovation, and it felt very clean. The futon was fluffy, and above all, the view from the window was amazing. The Onsen wasn’t overly large and had a calm, relaxing atmosphere, so I was able to unwind at a leisurely pace. Most memorable of all was the warm hospitality from the wonderful owner couple and all of the staff. Of course the Accommodation itself is very comfortable, but I think what makes you want to come back is this kind of genuine warmth from people. On top of that, at check-out there was an exclusive service for guests: a photo shoot by the owner, who is also a professional photographer! The beautiful photo data were later sent by email as well—it became an unexpected and very happy memory. I also heard they are continuing to renovate parts of the building little by little even now, so it’s exciting to see how it changes with each visit. I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of Accommodation it will become in the future. Even though I went planning “just to stay overnight,” I came home with wonderful memories—including the scenery, the Onsen, and meeting such kind people. I would definitely love to visit again. *This isn’t directly related to Hotel services, but please note that the entrance from the street can be a bit hard to find, and some parts of the road leading up to this Accommodation are narrow. If you’re coming by car, it may help to drive carefully on your way here.*

Being a public accommodation, the price for two meals included is exceptional. The food is delicious, and you can enjoy a beautiful sunset nearby, making it very satisfying. Next time, I look forward to enjoying the restored onsen and staying here again.

I chose to stay here because the exterior and interior photos were so striking, and I was also drawn to the fact that it is operated by a public interest incorporated association that supports children with intractable illnesses and their families. The welcome drink and sweets, as well as the complimentary drinks, all had a distinctly Okinawan touch and were truly enjoyable. The staff’s service was polite yet friendly and warm, which left a strong impression. The private bath is used on a time-slot rotation, but since there aren’t many guest groups staying at once, it didn’t feel inconvenient at all. The spacious bath allowed me to relax comfortably. It drizzled lightly at night, and watching raindrops fall onto the water feature in the center of the building and ripple outward felt wonderfully magical. The next morning was sunny, so we had breakfast in the lush garden while surrounded by pleasant morning light. I was able to enjoy Okinawan dishes and fruits that are not easy to come across in everyday life—it was deeply satisfying. In particular, the island banana smoothie served before breakfast was so delicious that I honestly wanted seconds (haha). It was only one night, but it was a truly lovely Accommodation where I could step away from daily life and spend quiet, peaceful time.

Dinner was outstanding! Every dish served was delicious. I’d love to have the octopus steak and the simmered clams again. The mozuku seaweed was a variety I don’t usually see, and the recommended “Gyorokke” was also very satisfying. It’s an Accommodation for food lovers that I’d like to visit again.

The staff were very friendly, and the check-in instructions were easy to understand. Even at this time of year, we were able to use the jacuzzi while the sun was out. The bathroom was clean, and we enjoyed a beautiful view in the morning, making for a very pleasant stay.

The staff were kind, polite, and incredibly helpful—I was very satisfied! The Facility was also clean. I’ll definitely stay here again.

My return from the airport was late, so I stayed at a Hotel about 30 minutes before reaching home. I expected a beautiful, clean Hotel based on the photos, but it was even nicer in person, and the Room was spacious. The breakfast was so delicious that I was truly impressed. The view was great too, and I was happy to find such a hidden-gem Hotel so close by. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet; it was an amazing meal made by the owner—an egg served on top of incredibly delicious bread. I’ll definitely come again!

It would have been perfect if there had been an elevator.

We were able to relax and unwind at a leisurely pace. Dinner was just as rumored and absolutely delicious. Thank you very much.

This was my first time staying here, and the Facility was well equipped, so I had a very comfortable stay. I was able to forget about work and relax while watching the sunset and sunrise, and I truly felt refreshed. I was also impressed by the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea as seen from the cabin. I’ve been to various glamping sites, but so far this is the best. The only reason I deducted one point is that the shower area in the bathroom is a bit small. Next time, I’d like to try a Multiple Night Stay. Thank you very much.

It was a very satisfying stay!!! The room was very clean and stylishly decorated! I wish I could live in a room like that. The facilities, including tableware and appliances, were well-equipped. The washing machine detergent and hangers were helpful. Since the mirror is only in the washroom, it would be even more helpful if there was a stand mirror. The view from the 7th floor was beautiful, with a view of the sea. All the staff were friendly and kind, providing very pleasant service. It was during the typhoon season, but they explained the precautions during the stay carefully, which made me feel at ease. Breakfast had a moderate variety, and everything was delicious. It was nice to be able to make things like Yaeyama soba and taco rice by myself. I was also happy to have Genki bread. Since the system involves going to an affiliated store to eat, it might be a bit difficult on rainy days, but it was nice to take a walk. (A little over 5 minutes on foot) The port and Euglena Mall are within walking distance, and there are Yaeyama soba shops and izakayas nearby, making it very convenient even without a car. It was a very satisfying stay!!! I will use it again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

I stayed for three nights at Building B, Jihacaya. In the end, Building B seemed to suit us best. We really enjoyed having coffee while watching the early morning sea on the spacious balcony, doing a bit of work in the morning, having tea while watching the sunset, continuing our drinks after returning from dinner. We also loved all of it: the kitchen space, washing machine, large bed with a view from the window, and bathtub with an ocean view from the window. We both said that it would be nice to stay here for about a week and have what is called a workation. As written in Property's concept, buildings are built to blend into nature and create a comforting scenery. Especially during this time before Okinawa's tourist season begins, it's perfect for escaping cold weather and stress. Since Hamabe no Chaya was closed during this period, we had breakfast at Yama no Chaya Rakusui instead but still enjoyed it very much. The staff welcomed us warmly and we were deeply moved by their hospitality. Thank you very much. We definitely want to visit again.

This was our second stay, following last year, and we were very satisfied. The mountain road to the Accommodation seemed better lit than last year, so we felt safe even at night. We were also glad to have the unexpected chance to chat with the owner. Summer really is the best. We’ll be back again.

The Airbnb review rating was excellent, so I decided to stay for the first time. The result was absolutely amazing! I experienced breathtaking views and an extraordinary atmosphere. The scenery of Awaji Island was truly stunning, especially the sunset from the terrace and the refreshing mornings, which became unforgettable memories. Enjoying such spectacular views in a private space felt like pure luxury beyond everyday life! The well-equipped facilities allowed me to fully relax. With a pool and sauna available, my whole family enjoyed an entire day together! Sweating it out in the sauna, diving into the pool, and feeling refreshed afterward was exceptional—it completely washed away all our daily fatigue. While visiting other accommodations on Awaji Island, I found that such wonderful facilities in a rental villa are quite rare.

The Room was very clean. There were surprisingly many amenities provided. It is also very close to Sokodo Bay, which made it very convenient to go to the beach with children. Just outside the Accommodation, there are areas without streetlights, and the starry sky looked beautiful. There is a washer-dryer, so we made full use of it. The sauna also had towels and drinks prepared, and the cold plunge bath felt great. On the other hand, for four guests staying three nights, there were only four cups’ worth each of tea and coffee, with no refills. We finished them in one day. Since this is not a cheap Accommodation, I would at least like tea-type drinks to be available at the sauna drink corner as well. Also, we were told that trash collection is basically not provided. With a kitchen, if you cook you will inevitably have food waste. Leaving it there for all three nights didn’t feel good, so we handed it directly to a staff member who was cleaning partway through. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but including the issue with tea, we couldn’t fully relax into a luxurious feeling, which was a bit disappointing.

The entire property, inside and out, was very well cleaned. The Room was spotless. We were told the bed mattress had been upgraded, and it was extremely comfortable—I slept great. The Room also has high ceilings, and the air conditioning was very comfortable. The amenities were so plentiful we couldn’t use them all. The towels were great quality too. The small shelf next to the sink was especially helpful. Since we did laundry, having plenty of towels was perfect. There’s also a dryer—nothing to complain about. For cooking for yourself, everything you could need is provided! There were even items you don’t usually find at other Accommodations, so it felt like being at home. Thoughtful touches stood out as well, like a magnetic towel hanger. I’ve stayed in dozens of whole-house rentals, and the attention to detail in what’s provided here is outstanding. The outdoor pool was amazing too. Bugs didn’t bother us at all—in fact, it made us wonder if there are really this few bugs on Miyakojima. The location is excellent: close to downtown and also very convenient for Irabu Island, which we love. If I had to make a request: the body soap felt quite slippery and didn’t rinse off well, so it didn’t feel like I’d properly washed; and considering taking dishes poolside, it would be reassuring to have some unbreakable tableware as well. A full-length mirror would also be appreciated. Among the places I’ve stayed in Okinawa, this ranks right up there as one of the most comfortable (top one or two). We will definitely stay again!

Opening the front door reveals an ocean view, and the Room has been beautifully renovated—clean, spacious, and wonderful. However, there was a lot of dog hair from a previous guest on the floor and sofa. The stick vacuum was out of charge, so we used the provided lint roller to clean. There was no liquid left for the vape-type insect repellent. Also, since there is no night light on the second floor, a stand light had been provided as an alternative, but it was broken. The floors did not feel thoroughly cleaned, which was a bit disappointing. The BBQ grill didn’t seem to get hot enough—at first I thought it might be broken, though now I think it may have been due to how it’s operated. That said, the area is a quiet residential neighborhood with a supermarket nearby. The view from the windows is amazing—you can see the sea—and at night the stars are beautiful. Most cooking utensils and seasonings are provided. There’s no TV service, but Wi-Fi is available and you can project Netflix and other content onto the wall for a home-theater experience. The interior has been renovated; upstairs is set up as bedrooms; and both the toilet and bath are very clean. The air conditioning works well. The best part by far is the continuously flowing open-air bath: both the indoor bath and open-air bath are natural Onsen. The round open-air bath is about 160 cm in diameter and can fit three people comfortably. It helped us forget everyday life and truly relax. We also appreciated receiving a paella meal kit as a seasonal perk—thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. We booked again because we trust that making a Reservation through IKYU won’t disappoint. Overall, it was very good—a wonderful time—and our dog enjoyed it too.

Close to the sea, you can see the beautiful ocean from the room on sunny days. There are many stylish restaurants and souvenir shops nearby, so you won't have trouble finding meals. The sauna was authentic, the cold bath was chilly, and the outdoor air bath was excellent. The room design and amenities were all stylish.

The ocean is right in front of you, and you can even see Enoshima from the Room—an amazing location! It was so wonderful that on the day between our two nights, we spent most of the time in the Room just watching the sea. As others have mentioned, the breakfast bread was generous and very delicious. All of the staff who assisted us at reception were foreigners, but everyone was very pleasant and kind. After checkout, I realized I had left something behind and called them; they handled it kindly, and when I went to pick it up—even though it was my mistake—they spoke earnestly in polite Japanese and said, “We’re sorry you had to come all this way,” which really moved me. I definitely want to stay here again!
