We used this place for a one-night trip to Enoshima via Kamakura. The location was just right, so we made a Reservation without high expectations. The Facility and amenities were well stocked with nothing missing, and we made full use of the kitchen equipment. Since the cups are glass, it would have been nice to have a plastic cup for brushing teeth—around the sink it can be slippery, so I couldn’t let my kids handle glass. Even with five of us staying, there were enough beds and everything fit comfortably. The limited number of parking spaces isn’t the Facility’s fault, but if you’re driving, it’s a good idea to budget about 4,000 yen for parking in advance. There are several lots near the station and along the coast; each is only a 2–3 minute walk away, so you likely won’t have trouble finding one. I also really liked the atmosphere of the back streets.

The Onsen Facility had few families or small children, so it was nice to use it in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The water quality was good, and the Room was clean, making for a comfortable stay. However, we used the buffet for meals, and although we had high expectations due to the location next to the market, it felt a bit underwhelming and disappointing. For breakfast, it may be better to eat at Toyosu Market.

We stayed at the accommodation for a three-generation trip, as it was strongly requested by our grandchild. We didn't see any other Japanese guests during our stay. If we were more fluent in English, it would have been an even more enjoyable experience. We had breakfast at the attached café in the morning. Both the accommodation and café were stylishly designed and lovely places to be. The shower room was clean, though there was no bathtub. However, as Japanese people, especially seniors, we do miss soaking in a bath.

Our first trip to Sado Island was unforgettable, especially for the kids. This villa made all our wishes come true: swimming in the sea, enjoying the pool, having a barbecue, watching fireworks, and admiring a beautiful sunset. Although the entrance had a steep slope, its location on a hill offered stunning views. A short walk took us to a swimming spot with rocky areas where we unexpectedly enjoyed tide-pooling. After returning, we rinsed off in the outdoor shower and jumped straight into the pool. The jacuzzi was warm and relaxing while watching our kids play excitedly. The highlight? The breathtaking sunset! We had a barbecue while watching it, making everything taste even better. It was such an enjoyable trip—thank you so much!

Overall, it was good. Great view and scenery. Good facilities. The kitchen faucet did not provide hot water. The air conditioner in the large room was not working.

Facing Miyuki Street, the surrounding area was easy to walk around. It was convenient to have a convenience store (Lawson) and the Shirahama Bus Center nearby. The unit bath includes a toilet with a bidet function. Wi‑Fi was available, but the signal showed only one bar. The door lock is secure, but it felt unusual to carry a standard key when going out. The Room was on the second floor, and there are only stairs, so please be careful if you have heavy luggage.

The Room was clean, there was a TV, the sauna had an ocean view, and there was also a cold plunge bath—everything was excellent. The space was very comfortable and relaxing as well. It would have been even better if there had been one more set of basic skincare amenities and towels.

This was my first stay. The front desk staff were very courteous. There were complimentary drinks on the first floor, and the ice-cold draft beer was excellent. The Room was spacious and had a massage chair, so I could relax, but I couldn’t adjust the air conditioning—when I tried to operate it, it turned off. I filled the in-room Onsen right away and enjoyed a very pleasant bath, but my parent, who has difficulty walking, said the step was high and felt scary. Since everything is flat around it, I thought a handrail would make it safer. I understand this may be difficult as it is not barrier-free. I was looking forward to dinner. Everything was delicious, including salt-grilled ayu and chicken hot pot, and even the white rice was excellent. The children’s lunch plate was also generous in portion size, and my child happily bit into a big fried shrimp. However, there was one thing that concerned me. My child’s dessert (a mousse-like item topped with fruit) that came with the lunch plate was taken away partway through for some reason. Since I happened to be on the phone at that moment, I wondered why. After that, as if nothing had happened, the removed dessert was served to an adult instead, and jelly was placed for my child. I assumed it had been a mistake, but I believe an explanation should have been given. Taking something once served to one person and then serving it to someone else seems inappropriate etiquette-wise. At the very least, some explanation when bringing out the jelly for my child would have been appreciated. Overall it is a wonderful Accommodation; only the dinner service response bothered me. Thank you very much.

The Room had the unique charm of a traditional Japanese house, and we were able to stay comfortably. For breakfast, it’s a short walk, but we recommend eating at the dining venue with a great view! The open scenery is very relaxing. The staff were also very courteous, and we had a wonderful time.

I really enjoyed the Hoshino world. It has a strong, distinctive style (in a good way). Since Taketomi was a more traditional, mellow experience, that may be why it stood out even more this time. The deep-sea-like reception area, Rooms without an entryway, and a dining table with a sink were all surprising in terms of the facilities—and uniquely fun. There are many different activity programs as well. The performers in “Hamauri Ashibi” were bright, entertaining, and wonderful, and Ms. M’s “Garden Tour” guide was warm and enjoyable too. Going forward, the key will be how well you can communicate and share with guests that your interpretation of “Hoshinoya luxury,” including personal service, is not the conventional approach. When you’ve become the undisputed “top tier,” please let me stay again!

This property is originally a private wedding venue and is only occasionally available for stays when no weddings are being held. There is no pool, but there is a dreamlike chapel that feels like paradise; with staff permission, you may visit and take photos. The rooms and service are excellent, the food is delicious, and it’s the perfect place to relax in comfort.

The Room was clean, but I was disappointed that a distinctive odor often associated with foreign guests remained. I understand that people from many countries stay here, but as a Japanese guest, the smell was noticeable. Since sensitivity to odors varies by person, some may not mind it, but I would like you to check for any lingering smells after each cleaning.\nOther than that, there were no issues, and I would like to stay again.

It was my first trip to Miyakojima. I chose this place for the location, price, and villa-style setup, and it was excellent. Having a washing machine and detergent provided was truly appreciated! There’s also a water tap near the entrance, which was helpful for rinsing off dirt. I was looking forward to breakfast as well since it’s a sister restaurant of a famous spot! You choose from a set menu, and everything was delicious. It also comes with a drink bar and soup bar. It made for a wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

Within walking distance of Toguchi-no-Hama Beach on Irabu Island. The cove facing the Hotel was magical, with the water shifting between green and blue depending on the time of day. On the first floor there’s a supermarket (maybe?) that also sells bento boxes, so it’s easy to pick up lunch, and in the evening it gets lively with locals stopping by after work. What’s more, the dining place on the second floor has a tatami seating area, so we could drink, eat, and relax while enjoying an island dinner—and even if we got pleasantly tipsy, it was great knowing we could head straight back to our Room. The building is older and there’s no elevator, but everything feels clean overall—and above all, every staff member is cheerful and smiling! That really feels unique to this island. Oh—and the bath is not an Onsen; however, the unit bath is spacious and clean! Hotels in town are convenient too, but this is a place where you can spend quiet, relaxing time that you only get on a remote island. We’ll be back!!

Very convenient for skiers. Lift discount vouchers are available in the off-season in March. Unfortunately, I didn’t know about them on the first day and couldn’t use one. Many Hotels around here are like this, but it’s great that you can still take a bath after check-out once you’re done skiing. The open-air bath has excellent water quality, but it was a bit disappointing that after check-out only the indoor bath is available. The meals were more than enough, and I didn’t have room for the all-you-can-eat imoni soup and dessert. I wanted to have the imoni soup the next morning even if it was just reheated, but it seems it’s only served at night. I thought it would be nice if the foreign staff smiled a bit more, but since I train Hotel employees as a Japanese-language teacher, I tend to be overly critical. They are probably doing their best.
