Thank you for taking care of us for two nights and three days. I have stayed in many places around Japan, but this is the first time I’ve written a Review. It was a wonderful stay, and although I didn’t have time to properly express my thanks in person, I’d like to do so here. Work has been very busy lately, and this time I came hoping to “just relax,” and this Accommodation was exactly what I was looking for. From our Room we could look out over the sea at Matsushima, and without having to leave the Accommodation much at all, we were able to spend slow, luxurious time simply gazing at the ocean. The cheerful and courteous service from the staff in charge of our Room left a strong impression on me, and thanks to them we felt comfortable throughout our stay. At the dining venue as well, they casually checked in with us—“Are you cold?”—and even someone like me who gets cold easily was able to relax comfortably. The tea sweets provided were delicious, and the bath was extremely soothing. After bathing, it’s also a fond memory that I could unwind by reading while enjoying cold tea at “Salon Kura.” Every meal was truly delicious. In particular, the anago (conger eel) takikomi rice really stayed with me. We were told that any leftovers could be made into rice balls, but it was so easy to eat that we kept reaching for more with our chopsticks and finished it all. My partner seems especially impressed by the Sendai Kuroge Wagyu steak. Being able to grill sasa-kamaboko at breakfast also made me happy—it felt uniquely Miyagi. Even when we were leaving, you prepared sightseeing maps and gourmet information for us as well, and we felt your warm thoughtfulness right until the end. It was a truly lovely Accommodation where you can take your time enjoying both Matsushima’s scenery and how comfortable everything feels on-site. It ended up being a stay that refreshed both body and mind. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much for everything during our stay.

I stayed here last year and was very satisfied, so I chose this Hotel again this year. Above all, the highlight is the wide variety of food. Everything was delicious, and I ended up going back for seconds many times. The pork shabu-shabu served in a small hot pot was especially outstanding, and I loved that you can shabu-shabu not only pork but also seafood. With several broth options to choose from, I could enjoy it exactly the way I like. In addition, there were sushi and sashimi, Tokushima ramen, freshly fried tempura, and a great selection of other dishes such as crispy lotus root and sweet potato chips—so much variety that I enjoyed every bite without getting bored until the very end. At the large public bath, bath towels and face towels were provided in the lobby area, so it was very comfortable to be able to use fresh towels each time. There was also complimentary ice cream after bathing, which felt like a thoughtful touch. The night view from my Room was also wonderful—the sparkling city lights were truly beautiful and made for an unforgettable moment. I was completely satisfied with everything—food, baths, service, and views—and it’s a fantastic Hotel that makes me want to come back again.

The Hotel staff were all very kind. Our pet tends to bark when approached by people, so we were concerned at first; however, they maintained an appropriate distance which made our stay very comfortable. Although it rained on our first day, the weather improved on the second day.

We had a wonderful time during our 3-day, 2-night stay. It was our first time trying the barrel sauna, a Weber BBQ, and a campfire, but thanks to your thoughtful support, we were able to enjoy everything safely and comfortably even with a small child. The views from the garden and the Room were beautiful, and the interior was spacious, clean, and very relaxing. The pesticide-free vegetables were also delicious. Next time, we will visit with our whole family.

We made a Reservation to celebrate his birthday. I had requested a message plate in advance for our meal, and I was also delighted to find lovely towel art prepared in our room. The spacious, spotless room, the relaxing pool, and the delicious food—everything was perfect. After the trip, both of us agreed that “this time, the Hotel stay was the best,” making it a truly wonderful stay. Thank you for smoothly accommodating changes to the Shuttle Service schedule and arranging taxis for us. It has become a place we would definitely love to visit again.

I’d been wanting to visit for a long time, and I treated myself to a Multiple Night Stay solo to truly relax. I’m so glad I chose this place! I’ve stayed at many Hotels and Ryokans in Japan and abroad, and this has become one of my top three favorites. Everything used throughout the Hotel is carefully selected and meticulously maintained. The staff were warm and kind in such a natural way—it was genuinely soothing. And the food—absolutely unforgettable! I had all three meals here, and if only I had another stomach, I would have loved to try even more from the menu. There were plenty of fresh local vegetables; everything was truly delicious, beautifully presented with great taste, and above all, you could feel the chef’s love in every dish. It makes perfect sense that so many guests return again and again. It was hot in midsummer, but I rented an e-bike, rode to the beach, and went for a swim. Just as rumored, the water was crystal clear—the beach was stunning—and it left me feeling completely refreshed. I will definitely come back in another season. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!

This was my first stay, and it was truly a wonderful Accommodation. I have stayed at island Accommodations several times, but this one had a different feel. Having the sea so close by—and being able to see it from the Room—was great. The olive kaiseki cuisine was exceptional. It was fun and delicious to enjoy different kinds of olives in each dish. I also enjoyed relaxing in the private bath, but I did notice that the drainage seemed a bit poor—the shower water didn’t drain easily, which was inconvenient.

Just as other Reviews mentioned, the view was simply amazing. We stayed with our dog, and we really appreciated that they had pee pads, etiquette bags for walks, food and water bowls, and even dinner for our dog ready for us. It was the first time I’ve ever felt this refreshed at an Accommodation. We’ll definitely stay again!

It was a wonderful trip—100% perfect. Of course, I would 100% recommend it to friends and acquaintances. The Room had an ocean view, and it felt like looking at a painted seascape. I requested Japanese-style meals, and everything was truly satisfying. The bath was great, the meals were great, the amenities were well stocked, and the Room was excellent. Since I informed you in advance that I have a disability, I was also able to park properly in the Hotel parking lot. It really was 100%. Thank you very much. We visited for a family trip to celebrate our daughter’s marriage. As it was formerly an art museum, we were overwhelmed by the meticulously designed building by Tadao Ando and the many artworks displayed throughout the property. The Room was extremely comfortable, and the pool we had been looking forward to was wonderful—we were able to fully enjoy this extraordinary space. We expected Western cuisine, but instead were delighted by beautifully refined Japanese dishes. The drink pairings matched to each course were perfect, and every dish moved us. The congratulatory wedding cake we had ordered was also truly delicious and became a wonderful keepsake. We sincerely appreciate the warm hospitality of all the staff. This is a superb Hotel where architecture, art, and food are all in harmony, and we would love to stay again.

This was our family’s first stay, and it was wonderful. With my birthday coming up the following week, we happened to mention it at check-in, and they surprised me at dinner with live music and a dessert—plus sweets as a gift—to celebrate! We hadn’t informed them in advance about the Reserver, so I was truly touched by the surprise. Thank you very much. All of the staff were professional—from guiding our car on arrival to explaining the Hotel, as well as the lounge and restaurant teams—and they made our stay comfortable from start to finish. The housekeeping staff also greeted us warmly. The Facility was just as beautiful as in the photos, and everything—from the amenities to the in-room sweets and beverages—was thoughtfully selected, which really conveyed their hospitality. The restaurant meals for both breakfast and dinner were vibrant, uncompromising, and absolutely delicious. I was genuinely impressed by this top-class Accommodation. We will definitely return.
