I stayed for one night from Sunday to Monday, and the Room was clean. It was supposed to be a 5.5-tatami Room, but since there were only two groups staying, they probably consolidated the Rooms—so even though it was just the two of us, we had a very spacious Room. The Onsen bath itself was small and the open-air bath wasn’t in use, but although it is normally separated by gender, we were told that if we put up the private-use sign, it was fine for us as a couple to bathe together, so we used it privately. It’s an Accommodation that stays flexible and saves costs while still keeping guests satisfied. I only had breakfast; the menu was fairly standard, but the miso soup in particular was very delicious. When I go to Oze again, I’d definitely like to stay here again.

My son and I stayed here for a short 2-night, 3-day trip while visiting high schools. We were both deeply impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff! Being a beach lover, my son enjoyed snorkeling every day at the beach right in front of the property and spent every morning practicing his "cool diving moves" at the pool. We look forward to coming back to meet the sea turtles next time. Thank you so much!

I was drawn back by the incredibly charming building and the warm, welcoming interior, and I stayed here again. Not only that, but with its comfort, well-equipped Facility, and the wonderful personalities of the owner couple, it’s a place that truly makes me want to return. Last time I traveled solo; this time we stayed as a couple, and my husband was very happy too. On Yakushima there are surprisingly few Accommodations where you can relax at your own pace without worrying about others, but Morinokokage is a place where you can truly unwind. The Room has its own private bath and toilet, which is also a great plus—you can use them whenever you like. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy nature while gently swaying in a hammock and spend a truly luxurious time. Separate top-and-bottom pajamas and thoughtful amenities. Plus, the laundry and dryer are free to use, which is an extremely helpful service for longer stays or for those going trekking. A clean, comfortable—and irresistibly cute—Accommodation that naturally brings a smile to your face. When I visit Yakushima again, I would love to stay here once more. Thank you very much.

I recently traveled to Hakone. I was unsure which Hotel or Ryokan to choose, but I decided on Mitake-san because they offered in-room dining that looked delicious in the photos and had a private open-air bath option. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by adorable cats and kind staff, and the food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a wonderful and happy two days in Hakone. I hope to visit again within this year!

I chose this place because the Reviews were highly rated. As expected, I was very satisfied with the staff and the Facility, but it was disappointing that the open-air bath was in a separate area. This may depend on the guests that day, but at check-in we were told, “There is a shaved ice service in the kitchen space.” I looked forward to having some after dinner, but a group of about six people kept getting refills and occupied the area for a long time, so I couldn’t have any. They also spread plates out and left food they had brought in around the kitchen space, making it difficult for others to use when trying to eat. Also, while I was drying my hair in the large public bath area, a foreign guest came out of the bath wrapped in a bath towel and tried to go to the open-air bath. They asked me “OK?” and when I said “No,” they looked confused. I think it would be helpful to have written instructions or signage explaining proper etiquette.

I arrived early and was worried, but they kindly stored my luggage. I made the Reservation to see the starry sky, but unfortunately, the weather was bad, and I couldn't see it. I'll come back for a revenge visit! Thank you very much.

Set amid vast natural surroundings, this Accommodation offers the chance to enjoy a spectacular night sky if you’re lucky. Please remain vigilant for bears at all times.

My spouse and I stayed for one night and two days. The Facility was very clean overall, and it was stocked with plenty of the latest appliances. The sauna came with unlimited firewood, and it heated up properly. The river right in front was cold and felt amazing. The provided shampoo and conditioner were also great. It’s a place that makes you want to come back regularly to refresh.

It was wonderful!

This was my second stay. This time, I came looking forward to the delicious dinner, determined to finish it all as a personal challenge. I couldn’t finish everything on my first visit and was disappointed, so I made sure to arrive hungry so I could enjoy every dish without leaving anything. For the final unagi rice box, I could choose the amount of rice but went with a regular portion—so once again I felt like I was about to burst. If I come again, I’ll choose a smaller portion! The Room was clean, and it was great that Fukuroda Falls is nearby. The person who came with me said they preferred staying over New Year’s, but I thought both times were wonderful.

This was my first stay! The biggest disappointment was the musty, moldy smell as soon as I entered the Room. There was also a dead cockroach in the indoor crate area, so I chose not to use it. Dinner was served as a course meal. It was very delicious! I felt sorry for the dog that joined us because it kept whining. With all those aromas, it must have wanted to eat too... Breakfast was also delicious! However, it was disappointing that coffee was served before the meal and didn’t seem to be offered afterward. I had been informed in advance about the scaffolding, so that couldn’t be helped. Having an Onsen in the Room is amazing! You can bathe whenever you like, and there was even a dedicated baby-bath-style “dog bath,” so our dog could try an Onsen for the first time! I just wish I had known about the scaffolding at the time of Reservation (tears).

We stayed for one night over New Year’s. The guidance was courteous, and the explanations were clear, which left a great impression. The Room was clean, and our children had a wonderful time. Both the BBQ area and the Room were warm, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. It was glamping we would love to stay at again.

Thank you very much for taking such great care of us during our one-night, two-day stay. The Room was spotless and thoroughly cleaned, and we were able to truly relax. Although it was a detached Room, the main building was right in front of us, which made us feel at ease. We took an early-morning walk around the watershed area and saw beautiful scenery spreading out in the silence—it felt as if both mind and body were refreshed. Breakfast was also exceptional: we enjoyed the complimentary bread along with milk and yogurt we bought at a nearby farmers’ market. Our children were very happy too, saying they “wanted to stay longer.” It became a wonderful memory for us. Thank you very much.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. Above all, the food—including fish—was delicious. Over two days, not a single dish was repeated. Not only the sashimi, but also the steamed dishes and vegetable dishes were all excellent. When I told the owner that the rice was delicious too, he said it was grown by his friend. With an Onsen and a clean Room, there’s nothing to complain about. Using a smartphone to enter details at check-in was a first for me, but it went smoothly. Lake Hyuga is right in front of you, and the view was outstanding.

This trip had us constantly checking the weather, but we came with our kids, believing there might still be a chance to stargaze at the observatory. It was cloudy and forecast to clear after midnight, so we arrived early with mixed feelings. Before check-in, we were allowed to play mallet golf for free, and the kids ended up running around nonstop on the playground athletics course in the park. After check-in, we relaxed in the large public bath. It was very clean—it's not an Onsen, but it was great. Dinner was at the restaurant from around 19:00. The food was delicious and very generous; our kids couldn’t finish it, which we felt bad about. We really appreciated that the portions were adjusted for younger and older elementary school children. Then came what we’d been waiting for: stargazing! Unfortunately, because of the clouds, it switched to the planetarium instead. But thanks to those clouds, some guests apparently canceled—and unbelievably, everything ended up being completely private just for us! The director’s friendly talk and quizzes had our kids excited from start to finish. He also projected images of what you can see on a clear night, and it turned into an incredibly satisfying 45-minute journey through space! On our way out, each of us got to choose one favorite photo from the director’s collection taken at the observatory. When we stepped outside afterward, we could faintly see the moon and one or two stars starting to appear. Lights-out was at 21:30. We woke up at 2:00 hoping for a miracle—real stars—and somehow even the kids managed to get up too. Looking out through the large south-facing window, my child shouted “The Milky Way!!” I thought it might be a mistake—but it really was the Milky Way!! In the planetarium earlier, we’d heard that Scorpius is a “miracle constellation,” visible in that alignment only from Earth—and that seeing even its tail requires conditions that are rare even here at Ogawa Observatory… yet there it was as well!! We were so moved and happy that I fell asleep peacefully afterward! Breakfast was also excellent—again our kids couldn’t finish everything (sorry!). All of your staff were friendly and welcoming too; it was a truly satisfying trip! I actually stopped by about 20 years ago while visiting filming locations from *Hakusen Nagashi*, but I only briefly passed through back then—so this time left me deeply impressed.

This was my first stay in a year. The Room was very calming and comfortable, and I was able to truly relax. Spending both day and night on the spacious daybed—absentmindedly reading a book or gazing at the view—was the best. Soaking slowly in the large bathtub was also genuinely wonderful time. This has been the case for a while, but I always feel I’d really appreciate it if the internet connection could be improved a bit more. This time, I was able to enjoy ice cream after my bath, which was a delightful service. The food was consistently delicious as always, and the staff had a great atmosphere, making it a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much. I’d love to stay again.

Everything was even better than I expected. Above all, the open-air bath in the Room was outstanding. If I have the chance, I’d love to stay again.

I stayed the night before visiting a grave on the equinox holiday, and I truly appreciate your courteous assistance despite my late-night check-in. I stayed in the West Wing; you briefly have to go outside when using the passageway from the main building, so it was a bit cold, but acceptable. The Room was clean and a good size, and the soundproofing was excellent—although my Room faced the road, it was quiet and comfortable. The large public bath was also pleasant, though it is not a natural Onsen. Breakfast was enjoyable as well for a Business Hotel buffet. If I had to mention one drawback, it was that the parking area was hard to find. I used a lot a short distance away as instructed by the Hotel, but it seemed like there might also be parking behind the Hotel... Since it was still quite cold, I would have preferred to park as close to the Hotel as possible.

I’m glad I chose Rishiri Fuji Kanko Hotel for the first night of my Rishiri–Rebun trip. It’s conveniently located just a short walk from the ferry terminal, which made it easy to get an early start the next day. The Room was clean and had a great view, making for a very pleasant stay. The morning Hime-numa mini tour also became a wonderful memory.

Everyone was delighted with the view of Mount Fuji right in front of us. The meat served during the meal was tender and satisfying at 200g. From the bath in the Room, a first-grader was overjoyed by the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. The Hotel itself was quiet and peaceful.
