Since we don’t do sightseeing, we focus on meals and the Onsen and look for an Accommodation where we can relax in our Room—this place is perfect! Above all, the food is delicious, the Onsen feels wonderful, and we can spend time at ease in a simple yet spotlessly cleaned Room. The Wi‑Fi connects smoothly as well, so it’s completely stress-free. With each dish, we enjoyed imagining how it was prepared while looking at the menu, and once again our hearts were full—it was pure happiness. Not only is the cooking excellent, but the couple’s calm and gentle atmosphere is so comforting that this has become our favorite Accommodation. We’ll be back in a different season—thank you in advance.

It was a wonderful Accommodation, just as the Reviews said. The food, the interior throughout the property, and the furnishings in the guest rooms were all tastefully chosen, and since there were only six groups of guests, we were able to relax even though it was peak season. The staff’s service was also excellent. It was an Accommodation that made us want to come back again after a long time.

It was wonderful. The Room was spacious, and the in-room Onsen was excellent—I enjoyed it many times. The private bath had no time limit, and I could use it anytime as long as it was available, which made me very satisfied. The staff greeted me with smiles. Above all, every meal was delicious and made me feel truly happy. I have stayed at various Accommodations before, but I think this one was the best. During my stay, I already wanted to come back again. It was truly great. Thank you very much.

This was our first trip with our beloved dog, who is like family to us. We were completely satisfied with everything—the clean and beautifully maintained living room, kitchen, bedroom, wood deck, and dog run—and we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The water facilities, toilet, and bathroom were also spotless, like new, and very comfortable to use. We would love to visit again soon. Thank you very much.

We traveled with my elderly mother-in-law, and as on our previous stay, everything—such as preparing chairs—was arranged with extra care, allowing us to spend a very comfortable time. The meals were consistently excellent as well. Since we stay around the same time every year, we would appreciate it if you could consider adding a bit more variety to items such as the hassun. I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at a comfortable pace. It was quiet and spotless throughout, and the Onsen was incredibly open and wonderful. Every meal was deeply delicious. I stayed here after relatives in Shonai recommended it as an Accommodation with excellent food, and it exceeded my expectations. From appetizers to dessert, everything was carefully prepared—making the most of the ingredients with creative touches—and the portions were generous. Every dish was delicious, and I left completely satisfied. Breakfast was just as impressive as dinner, with a wide variety of items and great flavor. After the wonderful meal, it was also nice to relax in the Onsen bath in my Room. The staff’s bright smiles were another highlight. I’d love to come back to enjoy seasonal dishes at a different time of year, and also explore the Onsen town and try visiting private baths at other facilities.

We stayed here overnight while traveling back home. My child loves cars, so seeing engines and car bodies everywhere was exciting in itself, and we were able to spend a fulfilling, luxurious time. As I was traveling with my mother who has difficulty walking, we ordered room service and enjoyed our meal at a relaxed pace on the balcony, feeling the pleasant breeze while watching the circuit.

It was a wonderfully attentive Accommodation. The food was delicious—above all, the rice was outstanding. The grilled fish was cooked perfectly, and the sashimi was fresh and very tasty. I was also very happy with the late-night rice ball and message. Breakfast had a great variety and was exciting as well. Personally, I especially appreciated having rice porridge. It was raining when we left, but thank you for carrying our luggage to the car. You also lent us an umbrella, so we were able to get to the car without getting wet. I forgot something behind, but I can only be grateful for your kind and careful assistance. I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you for letting us relax and enjoy our time there.

This was my first stay here. From the atmosphere throughout the Accommodation to the service, thoughtful hospitality, and meals—everything was flawless in sight, aroma, and taste. It was a truly delicious and enjoyable time. The Onsen is compact, but the water quality is excellent and left my skin silky smooth. I’m grateful to have found an Accommodation I’ll definitely return to. Thank you very much.

On August 7, when a strong typhoon was a concern, we headed to Kyotango—a trip we had been looking forward to for a long time. Due to my misunderstanding, I entered the entrance at 2:00 PM and found no one at the front desk—which was only natural, since check-in starts at 3:00 PM. Even so, they responded right away and guided us to our Room in about 10 minutes. That was the beginning of the trouble I caused. I couldn’t wait for the dinner and breakfast that receive such high praise in every Review. Since we arrived early, I was also the first to use the large public bath. The open-air bath had an amazing ocean view and felt incredible. The right edge of the tub had a slope, so I assumed it was thoughtful design for children or elderly guests—but there was an identical slope on the left as well. Looking closely, I noticed the rim of the tub was curved: it was actually designed as a reclining bath. The slope allowed you to lie back while enjoying the ocean view. I soaked in the open-air bath, deeply impressed all on my own. After enjoying a canned beer and complimentary sake (excellent) in the post-bath lounge area, we returned to our Room—and then an accident happened: news of a death in our close family arrived. After discussing it with my wife, we decided to give up on the breakfast we had been looking forward to so much. Since it took about 3 hours and 45 minutes on our way there, I asked at reception if we could leave early in the morning—and they kindly accommodated this as well. Dinner began while my mind still felt unsettled, but everything from the first appetizer onward was delicious, and my wife and I found ourselves exchanging smiles again and again. Partway through, we were guided outside to watch sunset from the terrace—body, heart, and taste buds all completely satisfied. Despite our very early departure time, they even came out to see us off when we left. I was truly moved. We caused you so much inconvenience—thank you for giving us such an outstanding Accommodation experience.

After finally arriving through heavy rain on this trip, we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The meals were served in a calm lounge, and we could really feel the care put into each dish. The Onsen was wonderful, but unfortunately, due to torrential rain severe enough to trigger warnings, the water temperature dropped on the morning of the second day. We were especially disappointed that we couldn’t use the bath in our Room. With expressways closed, sightseeing wasn’t possible at all, so we’d like to come back next time for a retry. The Accommodation is a pleasant, clean Hotel, and all of the staff were very kind.

The relaxing Facility, the charming Room, the wonderful cuisine, and the silky Onsen I could stay in forever—everything was exceptional. The staff’s warm smiles and attentive hospitality made it even better. This is the first Accommodation where I truly didn’t want to leave because it felt so comfortable. I would love to visit again. It was my first time visiting Nara. I was very satisfied with my first stay at Kaze no Naramachi. The hospitality was wonderful in every aspect—from the service and the Room to the meals and thoughtful care. The weather was bad, so sightseeing did not go as planned, but I would like to stay again and fully enjoy what Nara has to offer. Thank you as well for the delicious sake.

We visited again this summer vacation at everyone’s request. The Room was spacious, there was a dome, and even a pool—and the kids could get excited without being scolded (haha). There were massage chairs, and every Room had a TV where we could watch YouTube and more. They also prepared plenty of delicious coffee for us. We enjoyed an amazing feast until we were completely full, plus a surprise cake. The yokai quiz, late-night udon, running around on the lawn, and taking a bath while looking at countless stars and a beautiful moon—there’s nowhere else this close by where both adults and children can be so satisfied! We were also happy that everyone remembered our favorite staff member we see every year. We were told it was their day off and said how disappointing that was—then they surprised us by coming to greet us the next morning before we left. The kids were thrilled to hand over the letters they brought and to chat together! Thanks to your warm hospitality, we made wonderful summer vacation memories again this year. Thank you very much.

Day two of my Kagawa trip with my new wife. We headed to “Auberge de Oishi,” an Accommodation I had long hoped to bring her to ever since my previous stay. The oyster dishes I enjoyed a few years ago weren’t available this time due to recent climate-related difficulties in sourcing ingredients, but even so, the cuisine here continues to exceed expectations every visit. It’s not simply a lineup of expensive ingredients—this auberge’s true appeal is the chance to encounter an entirely new dining experience. The space and interior design reflect the owner’s meticulous attention to detail. It has a distinctive atmosphere and palette you won’t find in commercialized large-scale luxury Hotels or typical tourist spots. The staff, including the madam, are friendly yet refined, making your stay all the more fulfilling. Next time, I’d like to return and invite my wife’s parents as well, staying in one of the newly built rooms on the hilltop. If you’re visiting Kagawa, this is a place worth experiencing at least once.

This was my first visit. Perhaps due to the season, there were no guests with children, and the Accommodation was very quiet. When I stayed at other Kyukamura properties in the past, most guests were families, so I was used to a lively atmosphere; it made me wonder whether it is usually this quiet here. The calmness was truly pleasant. The staff’s hospitality was excellent, which also made my stay very comfortable. The meals were delicious, and I enjoyed them at a relaxed pace. I would also like to thank the staff member who kindly joined me on short notice and enthusiastically helped with my search for shimaenaga (long-tailed tits). I’m happy to have found another Accommodation I’d like to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Our three-generation family stayed for two nights, and everyone was thoroughly satisfied—not only with the magnificent views from the lobby and our Room, but also with the wonderful hospitality and delicious meals. The staff’s attentive, warm service and smiles were especially memorable, and we felt a gentle, clear, comfortable atmosphere throughout the Hotel. Shizuoka has many sightseeing spots, including history museums that children can enjoy and Shizuoka Municipal Nihondaira Zoo (this zoo has many thoughtful touches and is truly recommended), making it enjoyable for all ages. After check-out, we also went to Shimizu Port to enjoy dining and shopping. We visited several attractions including Toshogu Shrine, but there was so much to see that next time we would like to stay at this Hotel again and take more time to fully enjoy the places we visited on this trip as well. Everything—from the meals and the Room to the amenities and hospitality—was outstanding, and we were completely satisfied with our stay! The open-air Onsen bath in the Room was incredibly convenient, as we could soak anytime we liked, and it felt wonderfully luxurious. Also, because this Accommodation has only 10 Rooms, we rarely crossed paths with other guests at “Owl no Yu,” so we could relax and enjoy the Onsen as if it were private. The kaiseki dinner was exquisite across the board. In particular, the miso-glazed eggplant (dengaku) and steamed eel rice left a lasting impression—they were truly delicious. You could really tell each dish was prepared with great care, and we enjoyed every bite to the very end. Breakfast was also excellent. It was my first time trying Nanban natto, and I liked it so much I wished I could take some home. The rolled omelet was fluffy and delicious as well. From the cuisine and Onsen to the Room—and above all, the heartfelt service from all of the staff—this was a wonderful Accommodation that satisfied us in every way. If you’d like to unwind in an Onsen while enjoying a drink and spend a relaxing holiday forgetting everyday fatigue, this is exactly the right place. We would love to visit again!
