My wife and I visited from Kyoto. As it had not been long since the renovation, everything was very clean, and we had a comfortable one-night stay. The open-air bath in the guest room lets you fill it yourself—add cold water if it’s too hot, or add hot water if it’s too cool—so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. Both the hot and cold water flow were plentiful, making it a truly stress-free Onsen experience that’s hard to find. The meals were also excellent; each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and I felt the chef must be very talented. If I had to mention one minor complaint, it would have been perfect if we could have seen Mt. Aso clearly from the bath, but I understand that can’t always be helped.

I stayed here alone. The Room was comfortable, with a bath, toilet, and sofa, and the fluffy futon bedding was very cozy. The refrigerator was also a two-door model. As for the meals, a variety of side dishes were beautifully arranged on lovely plates, and I could tell how much care went into the cooking. Everything was delicious. Even the chopsticks were placed in an elegantly wrapped holder, which showed thoughtful attention to detail. Breakfast was colorful and wonderful. Coffee was also served. The proprietress did an excellent job of keeping an eye on guests at all times. I had a very enjoyable time—thank you very much. I hope to stay again if I have the opportunity.

It was a wonderful Accommodation with thoughtful attention to detail. You can see Mount Rishiri from the Onsen and the dining area, and the view is magnificent. Beautiful flowers were arranged throughout the building, and we could feel the careful hospitality in every corner. The meals were delicious, and we are glad we stayed at Hanarebun. Thank you very much—I’m truly grateful for such a wonderful trip experience. I had errands in Hita City (where record-high temperatures have been continuing), so I stayed overnight in Yufuin as well. It was intensely hot that day too، but from evening through night Yufuin felt like another world—so cool that air conditioning didn’t seem necessary. While winters are certainly very cold، I never expected Yufuin to be this cool in summer، so it turned out to be a happy surprise. The Onsen temperature was perfect—even in summer—for soaking slowly，and all my fatigue disappeared. In the morning，with Mt．Yufu right ahead of me，surrounded by birdsong，I enjoyed an unhurried soak. It was amazingly cool even then. As described，the shower does take a little time before hot water comes out. If set to mist mode，it stays cold. There are two private family baths، but one was under adjustment and unavailable، so I deducted one star. In-room drinks were available freely. Daifuku were prepared according to our party size؛ since they were cream-based، those who don’t like creamy sweets didn’t eat them. A more classic type of sweet might suit everyone better—but I personally enjoyed them. Dinner started with eel shabu-shabu before the main Wagyu steak course. I felt slightly uneasy at first—but it turned out absolutely superb!! It was part of the July menu (Fumizuki)، and I'd love to have it again. The plump texture and deliciousness clearly came from careful preparation. The soup after drawing flavor from the broth became wonderfully rich؛ I asked for refills many times。 They offered zosui (rice porridge)，but we chose to enjoy it as soup instead。 Then beautifully glossy white rice arrived—and turning that into porridge would have been such a waste，so I'm glad we kept them separate。 All other dishes also left my family—usually quite strict with reviews—very satisfied。 We could bring our dog without any hesitation۔ There is also a dog run that's just right for small dogs，and ours looked delighted running around。 Even though we'd stayed years ago ،they remembered that our dog hadn't finished his meal then ،and had eaten half at dinner و half at breakfast—which made us feel reassured۔ Service-wise ،there wasn't even once when something felt off۔ Although our interaction time wasn't long ，they took great care of us۔ Thank you again for everything۔ I hope we can return throughout different seasons۔

We stayed as a family of three. We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our stay—the atmosphere of the Facility and the attentive service from the staff. The French course featuring duck, which we had requested in advance, was carefully prepared dish by dish. Not only was it delicious, but the presentation and ingredient pairings were outstanding—truly showcasing the chef’s talent. Recently, we often choose “Sakagura,” and in any case it is wonderfully quiet. The entire building has a calm presence, allowing us to relax and enjoy unhurried time away from everyday life. As always, all staff members were kind and courteous. Their thoughtful attention to detail could be felt throughout our stay, and we were comfortable from start to finish. Once again, we felt this is a truly wonderful Accommodation where the cuisine, Facility, and service are all in perfect harmony. Thank you very much.

Great location, and the room was spotless—very satisfied.

This was a wonderful Hotel with great taste felt in every detail, and it made me want to take lots of photos. The Bulgari Bar was a spacious, relaxing place that made me feel like I was abroad. In the Room, they had kindly prepared fresh fruit for us, which helped soothe the fatigue of traveling. For breakfast, we had the Gymnasium Breakfast, and every item was a special menu that felt gentle on the body. The freshly pressed apple juice was also unbelievably delicious. We also enjoyed lunch at the Italian restaurant, and thanks to the staff’s warm kindness, my daughter and I had a truly pleasant time together. I would definitely recommend lunch at the Italian restaurant as well. I bought chocolates as souvenirs, and even after returning home, I continued to savor the wonderful memories of our time at Bulgari Hotel. I would love to stay again.

This was my first time staying at Vischio, and choosing this property based on the Reviews was absolutely the right decision. It’s close to the station, the Room was clean, and the Onsen was spacious and spotless with everything I needed—perfect for relieving travel fatigue. Adding breakfast was also a great choice. There was a wide variety of dishes, and everything—from fruit to desserts—was very delicious. It’s not unnecessarily luxurious, but it’s modern, clean, and has everything you need, so it was a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Kyoto.

It’s a clean and spacious Room. It’s not just simple—it’s stylish. I stayed in a twin Room. They lent us a bed guard, which was very helpful. They also offer various rental items, so it’s recommended for families with children. The large public bath was clean and nice as well. There weren’t many disposable amenities, though—maybe I just didn’t look for them properly. Overall, I was satisfied, and I’d choose this place again if staying around Yokohama.

I was a bit worried about traffic when driving during the Obon holiday, but I wanted to explore Nishi-Izu freely for the first time in a while, so I decided to go by car. As a result, we arrived close to 5:00 pm, and it was a shame that things felt a little rushed before dinner starting at 6:00 pm. However, it was truly luxurious and delightful to be able to relax and enjoy the wonderful views at the dining venue—just like from the Room—while still having privacy. The in-Room Onsen bath was amazing. For some reason no insects came near, and I enjoyed it comfortably many times until the next morning. We requested breakfast to start at 8:30 am, but that didn’t mean we slept in—we took over an hour from just after 7:00 am to stroll along the Dogashima promenade right in front of us. It made breakfast taste even better. This location is truly rich. We also really appreciated the 12:00 pm check-out time. If you have to finish breakfast quickly, pack up, tidy the Room, and check out at 10:00 am, it feels like bringing everyday life with you and you can’t fully enjoy your stay. Thanks again for such a luxurious and rich stay.

This was my first stay. I found this Hotel online at short notice, but the 12:00 checkout and child-friendly breakfast appealed to me. The room was very clean and offered excellent value for money. The staff were also very kind and helpful. I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

We drove there and got a little lost, but a staff member was waiting outside and guided us to the parking area. The Room was clean, and there were disposable amenities for two people, including shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and soap, plus plenty of other amenities. The bath availability was shown on the TV, so when we went during an open time it felt like a private bath and we could relax. There were towels and bath towels in the Room as well, but the Onsen also provided bath towels and towels, so we didn’t need to bring them from the Room. To get to Dogo Onsen Honkan, there is a passageway next to the front desk that connects near Honkan, so you can get there with hardly any exposure to rain. The staff were courteous, and I recommend this Ryokan. It’s a Ryokan that makes me want to visit again.

From the moment we arrived, the parking guidance, check-in, shop, and breakfast venue staff were all very welcoming, and their smiles and service made our stay truly comfortable. The Room was also clean and well maintained. We also appreciated the complimentary beer and ice cream after bathing. Thank you very much.

I stayed here to support a table tennis tournament held at Bons Arena. It’s a bit far from the station, but that makes it more affordable, and it was the perfect distance for me to walk to my destination! The facilities were impressively well stocked and fun—standard vending machines, a machine that serves draft beer in a mug, tasting options for wine and sake, an automatic ice machine, and snack vending machines. If I have the chance, I’d love to stay again, and I’d also like to try other Pal locations in different areas. Thank you very much!

We stayed with three guests this time. All of the staff were very kind, and we were satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the meals. The Onsen in our Room and the large public bath were also wonderful, making our stay truly relaxing. Since there are only a few Rooms, we had minimal interaction with other guests—only hearing some conversation in the dining area—which gave us a strong sense of privacy. We felt that if we had stayed for a few more days, we could have refreshed both body and mind even more, and we have already decided to return. Thank you very much for all your hospitality.

A refreshing solo trip to Yamagata! Even the Golden Week crowds melted away in the hot bath and massage chair, and choosing the Japanese-style breakfast was absolutely the right call. Flawless!

The location was outstanding above all else. The in-room bath was an Onsen, and the view was so incredible that I could have stayed in it forever without wanting to leave. The Room was a perfect size and felt very clean. The meals were excellent, and I was very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner. There wasn’t any particular dress code inside the property, and it was fine to dine in loungewear, which made for a very relaxing stay. We joined the optional stargazing guide tour, but unfortunately Mt. Onidake—the planned observation spot—was covered by clouds so we couldn’t observe there. However, the guide quickly took us to another location, and we were able to see a wonderful starry sky. We enjoyed the Milky Way and summer constellations with the naked eye. The only disappointing thing was that there was a used tissue left in the pocket of the loungewear provided in our Room—apparently from a previous guest. I wonder if they didn’t check the pockets during cleaning… I also became curious about other Onko Chishin properties, so I went ahead and signed up for membership (lol).

At the end of our Golden Week trip to Beppu, we moved on to Yufuin. We stayed here for our final night. This time, we booked the “Carefully Selected Kyushu Wagyu Tenderloin Indulgence Plan” and spent one night in the PREMIUM Suite Room “Kunugi.” To sum it up, it was unquestionably a wonderful stay. First of all, the Room is spacious! A relaxing Japanese-style living room, plus a bedroom with a second living area. And the highlight is surely the open-air bath on the large terrace—amazingly, there are two baths: one fully open-air and one semi-open-air! The weather was great that day, so we enjoyed the breeze and long soaks. I was still in the bath right up until just before check-out (lol). The meal was also excellent—the main dish featured both tenderloin and Bungo chicken. It was also appreciated that anything we couldn’t finish could be served again the next morning. That said, it’s quite a generous portion, so those with smaller appetites should take note. The Accommodation staff’s service was at a very satisfying level. There are many other Accommodations in Yufuin I’d like to try someday, but this stay was a perfect finale to our Golden Week trip.

From check-in to strolling around the grounds, relaxing with coffee on the terrace, an in-room bath, delicious Italian cuisine, a drink by the fireplace, and an outstandingly tasty hokke breakfast—everything was wonderful! I wasn’t familiar with Accommodations in this area, so I carefully considered my options on IKYU and choosing this place was absolutely the right decision! I’d love to stay again.
