A truly quiet retreat worthy of being called the ultimate villa—so peaceful you can hear only birdsong. I was able to relax deeply and feel completely at ease. The food was exceptionally high quality; the corn consommé soup and the eggplant-and-tempeh caprese were unbelievably delicious. I bought the flower-shaped cheese on top of the caprese at a roadside station. Thank you again for taking such great care of us.

Breathtaking views with rising steam and a wonderful Onsen. I was very satisfied. You can also adjust the meal portions to your liking. I also enjoyed a day-use bath at Shin-Tamagawa Onsen using the guest-only ticket. If possible, a Shuttle Service bus from Tazawako Station would be a huge help for someone like me who doesn’t drive. I’d be happy to pay for a shuttle bus service.

Not only was the Room wonderful, but the host was truly kind. Even though I contacted them just two days in advance to plan a surprise celebration for my companion, they prepared a message plate and even decorated the Room for us. I’d love to stay again.

After watching a TV program featuring purple sea urchin, we visited looking forward to the dining experience. The cuisine, making the most of Amakusa’s abundant natural bounty, was far beyond our expectations—truly outstanding. We also appreciated the thoughtful explanations about the ingredients and stories about the producers, and enjoyed a wonderful time with the paired drinks. Dinner enjoyed while watching the beautiful sunset is a special memory we will never forget. A stylish and comfortable Room, an Onsen with ocean views, and breathtaking scenery right before our eyes—everything was exceptional and deeply relaxing. Most memorable of all was the warm hospitality of your staff, who clearly love Amakusa. Their desire to share Amakusa’s charm and ensure every guest truly enjoys their stay came through in every detail, and thanks to their attentive care we felt comfortable throughout. It became an unforgettable stay for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

From June 28 to 30, just after the typhoon and the end of the rainy season, we were able to arrive in Miyako safely and this was our second stay at Ferris. We were upgraded to a twin-bed Room for our family of three, and it also happened to be my wife’s birthday. The cake and bed decorations were wonderful surprises, making our first trip back to Miyakojima in two years truly memorable. Thank you very much to all the staff. Coming back from snorkeling and slipping straight into the private pool in our Room felt amazing—we could have stayed in forever while looking out at the mangroves. We enjoyed San’s shabu-shabu in our Room, and everything was delicious right down to the soba at the end. Next time, we’d love to try lunch as well! We look forward to staying with you again.

This is my favorite Accommodation. The bath in the Room is very spacious, with plenty of hot water flowing 24 hours a day—this is truly an Onsen Accommodation! There are also a private family bath, an open-air bath, and separate large public baths for men and women (indoor and open-air), so you can enjoy an Onsen tour without leaving the Accommodation. The meals feature satoyama cuisine with carefully balanced seasoning—exactly to my taste. Thanks to the staff’s explanations and conversation, dinner was especially enjoyable. The futon bedding was clean and wonderfully fluffy; it felt so comfortable that I was already asleep by 9:00 PM. In the quiet middle of the night, I woke up and went back for another bath… it was pure Onsen bliss. I relaxed at a leisurely pace while admiring the fresh greenery from the Room window. The tatami mats were spotless, and amenities like the ReFa hair dryer and even the toilet were new and comfortable. After seeing photos of Kiyasuya in its winter scenery, I definitely want to visit again. Thank you very much.

We stayed in Yokohama on the first day, visited Yokosuka on the second day, and decided to stay overnight on the Miura Peninsula. The Accommodation is a renovated historic building, and the interior beautifully preserves the original design from that time—it was truly charming and moving. Our child was also surprised at how spacious and clean it was. Miura may not have the flashy feel of other tourist spots, but we were impressed by how many buildings have a nostalgic, old-fashioned atmosphere. In the evening we went to a nearby seafood restaurant, and it was outstanding. I also highly recommend riding the Nijiiro Sakana-go. The staff at the Accommodation were very kind as well. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay in Yufuin, and I chose this Accommodation. The staff’s hospitality was very pleasant, and both dinner and breakfast were a delight—each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making it a truly blissful time. The Onsen was wonderful as well; after bathing, my skin felt silky smooth. Another Accommodation I’d love to visit again has been added to my list.

I first learned about this Accommodation in a travel magazine and had wanted to visit for years. From the moment I made my Reservation, the staff reached out several times with thoughtful messages, which felt truly warm and welcoming. I’m grateful for their kind advice on transportation as well as nearby recommended spots and restaurants. Set on a vast property, the Accommodation offers wonderful views, and I was thrilled to encounter deer while strolling around. The Onsen had excellent water quality, the Facility was well maintained, and I was able to unwind and soothe my fatigue while enjoying the scenery. A local regular I spoke with in the bath said they stay here every month—I couldn’t help but envy them. It was an outstanding Accommodation where both mind and body could fully relax. I would love to visit again. Every staff member was gentle and attentive, and their hospitality made it possible for me to truly feel at ease throughout my stay—each day felt happy. It was a calm, adults-only Accommodation with a relaxing atmosphere. The attentive service, guest room, and bath facilities were all high quality, and we were very satisfied. We made a Reservation to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was very calm, and it was so quiet and relaxing that we almost forgot we were in Dogo. The Onsen was wonderful, and we were amazed by the generous breakfast. We enjoyed a luxurious meal in the morning and then relaxed again in the Onsen. The hostess and all the staff provided outstanding service. We would love to stay here again.

I stayed in a newly renovated Room, and it was wonderful. The in-room perks were excellent. In particular, the all-you-can-eat gelato was an incredibly generous service—perfect after the Onsen—and I enjoyed trying many different flavors. Everything was delicious. The pre-dinner aperitif can be chosen from the menu, and the lounge coffee machine is truly high-quality, so I used it many times. Both the quality and quantity of the meals were very satisfying, and what impressed me most was the staff. There were many young team members, but everyone’s hospitality was outstanding. Some staff members spent a long time chatting with elderly guests because they were approached for conversation, yet they responded without showing any displeasure at all—I was genuinely impressed. You can also enjoy two different types of Onsen water, and I think this Accommodation offers excellent value for money. I will definitely return again. I was impressed by every aspect of this stay. First, the food was truly outstanding. Not only were the ingredients excellent, but the menu featured an abundance of seasonal items that are hard to come by in everyday life—such as longtooth grouper (kue), Shizuoka-brand eel “Deshiko,” pike conger (hamo), kuruma prawns, and Kamo eggplant—and I was moved by each dish. There wasn’t a single miss: the dashi flavor came through beautifully, and the balance of ingredients and seasoning in every course was exquisite. The overall satisfaction was so high that it honestly felt surprising to be able to stay at this price while being served cuisine of such a high level. The Onsen was also wonderful. The bath area is new and kept very clean, so it was comfortable to use. In particular, Umenoya’s unique natural spring water at around 30°C was perfect for this hot season. Alternating it with the indoor bath at around 40°C left me feeling refreshed after bathing and made for a truly relaxing time. I highly recommend trying it this way. Above all, what left the strongest impression was the hospitality of the staff. When I accidentally dropped my chopsticks during dinner, one staff member immediately noticed and picked them up, and another staff member who saw this brought me a fresh pair. Their seamless teamwork showed how well they communicate on a daily basis, which really moved me. The proprietress has such a warm presence—always smiling and speaking to guests in a friendly way. Despite her young age, her attentiveness to guests and her awareness of everything throughout the Ryokan are exceptional; I don’t often encounter someone capable of providing hospitality at this level. It was an Accommodation that left me completely satisfied with its cuisine, Onsen, and service. I would love to return in another season to enjoy more delicious food and the Onsen again.

This was my first stay, and just as everyone says, it was a truly wonderful Accommodation. The food was delicious, the Onsen water was silky-smooth, the staff were great, everything in the fridge was free, and the price was reasonable. The view was beautiful and very relaxing. Also, since I love drinks, I was thrilled by the wide selection of rice shochu... Thank you very much! I’ll definitely visit again.

It’s a 1 hour 45 minute trip from the station, and since you can’t miss the one bus, getting there is a bit nerve-racking.\nBut the hot springs are excellent, the food is excellent—everything is top-notch!\nThere are five private baths where you can enjoy free-flowing alkaline simple sulfur Onsen that feels like a beauty serum.\nAnd the cuisine is incredible. Using Shizuoka-certified ingredients, the pairings and cooking methods are creatively arranged, with great care taken so you can enjoy the presentation and textures as well.\nThere are also several carefully selected types of sake to match the dishes—fine dining and Onsen indulgence in the middle of the mountains!\nThank you very much.

I chose this Accommodation for my boyfriend’s birthday trip. It was my first stay here, and it far exceeded my expectations. Above all, the staff’s service was truly outstanding, and I was moved by every thoughtful gesture. The property has the charming presence of a grand traditional Japanese house, and the garden is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed a luxurious time dining at a relaxed pace while looking out over the garden. The basashi (horse sashimi) in particular was the best I’ve ever had—absolutely unforgettable. The Room was spacious and spotless, very comfortable, and the view from the window was wonderful. The building also has delightful surprises and playful touches that even first-time guests can enjoy, which kept me excited throughout our stay. They also offer an excellent selection of sake, so I especially recommend this Accommodation to sake lovers. It was one of the most memorable places I’ve ever stayed—completely satisfying in every way. I will definitely return.

I chose this Accommodation for its free-flowing Onsen, and when I actually visited, I was truly impressed to see the hot water gushing out in abundance. There are two baths, Kaki-no-Yu and Momo-no-Yu, with Kaki-no-Yu being more spacious. At the entrance to the open-air bath at Momo-no-Yu, stones are laid out underfoot, giving a stimulating sensation on the soles of your feet that felt pleasantly painful. The meals were also delicious, with some dishes clearly prepared with great care. Our Room was on the third floor, and I wished there had been an elevator—but perhaps it was good exercise instead.

We’re repeat guests for the cats, delicious food, and the cozy comfort of having everything you need right in the Room. This time my husband came with us too. The kids were thrilled with the maisonette and the open-air bath. We also love the skincare amenities such as lotion—they’re from a brand we like. We were so happy to finally spend time with the cats again. Since this was our first summer stay, we were told, “You might find stag beetles on the balcony,” and there were so many (surprisingly)! We took some home and are taking good care of them. Thank you for all your thoughtful consideration. Dinner was served at perfect timing—hot dishes hot and cold dishes cold—and my husband really enjoyed how delicious everything was. For breakfast we chose Japanese this time; the clay-pot rice selected by a rice meister was outstanding. Our child asked for seconds again and again. Everything was perfect except that the children’s pajamas we borrowed felt smaller than expected for their size. Thank you as always for your warm welcome—it made for an amazing start to our summer vacation. We’d love to come back again.
