This Accommodation offered pleasantly attentive service with just the right amount of distance, and we had a very comfortable stay. If you check the Facility details and amenities on the website in advance, I think you’ll find the price and service extremely satisfying. That said, the final road leading to the Accommodation is quite narrow, which was a bit nerve-racking… We booked a standard two-meal Plan, and both meals were delicious with plenty of river fish. It was my first time trying yamame trout sashimi, and even my son—who usually doesn’t like sashimi—was surprised and said, “I can eat this.” Also, just as other Reviews said, the kimchi (kakuteki) was outstanding. The bath at this Accommodation is not an Onsen, but there are 13 unique public baths just outside. Because of that, I felt that having an in-house bath where you can soak slowly at a comfortable temperature is definitely a plus. For rating purposes, however—since this is an Accommodation in Nozawa Onsen Village but not an Onsen—I deducted one star. Overall, this is an Accommodation with a very high level of satisfaction.

The Room and bathroom were clean, and light snacks were included, making it very comfortable to stay.

The Accommodation is well equipped with the Facilities and amenities you need for a stay with your dog. The meals were generous, and we left feeling full. There is also a dog run, which I think our dog really enjoyed.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. Even during the Obon holiday, the price was very reasonable, the breakfast was delicious, and the bath was excellent! Although it was a smoking room, there was no odor at all, and we were completely satisfied. We would definitely like to stay again when visiting the Kansai area.

First of all, the large public bath was wonderful and soothed my tired body after work. The Room was clean, and the TV was big, so I could relax and unwind. Breakfast was also very delicious; I usually don’t eat much in the morning, but I ended up eating too much. I recommend the supplement drink.

Having a washer and dryer was very convenient. It was also great to have a vacuum cleaner in the room so I could clean myself. Recommended for long stays as well. I would like to stay here again next time I visit Kagoshima City.

I booked without realizing it was an unmanned property, but they responded promptly via security cameras and provided excellent support.

The weather was terrible with a typhoon approaching, but the Hotel staff’s response was excellent. I’ll be back again.

This is my second stay since the end of the year, and it has become one of my favorites. It’s not a new Hotel, but it’s very clean and relaxing. You can see the railway tracks from the room, which might be great for train lovers (I’m one too), though I don’t know which line it is... Amenities are available in front of the front desk. The sweets like ramune candy are a nice touch. I’d love to stay again.

We stayed for two nights while sightseeing in Kamakura! Just as we expected from the Reviews before making our Reservation, the front desk staff were polite and helpful. The Facility itself feels a bit old, but it was very clean and well maintained. It was also convenient being a 2-minute walk from the station. We considered other Hotels, but chose this one for the price, and it turned out to be a great choice. The complimentary tea and snacks were also a nice touch!

I stayed here for one night on a touring trip. Since I was traveling by motorcycle, I was worried about sudden thunderstorms, but there was a dedicated bike space at the back of the covered garage, which was very helpful. Although some of the Facility is a bit dated, it was thoroughly cleaned by the female staff, and all the necessary amenities were provided. The female front desk staff also had wonderful smiles and left a great impression. The breakfast area was bright, and the counter seats offered a great view. The bath is not a natural Onsen, but it was comfortable and enjoyable, and bottled beer came with complimentary snacks.

It’s rare to find a Hotel this close to the sea. The view from the window is amazing. I’d love to stay again.

This stay became a truly memorable experience. The staff welcomed us with warm smiles, guided us around the Accommodation with great care, and showed thoughtful attention to every detail—service that naturally made us want to return. We felt comfortable throughout our stay. The Onsen was, simply put, outstanding. Our Room had a private open-air bath that we could enjoy all to ourselves. The water temperature was perfect, and from the moment we stepped in, it felt as if all the tension left our body. Soaking slowly while looking out over the beautiful forest was pure bliss, and we enjoyed it many times during our stay. The amenities also had a wonderful fragrance and quickly became a favorite. We chose the sake tasting Plan, and each selection had its own character and was fun to compare. As a sake lover, I was especially happy to be able to order Hiroki Aiyama separately—an exceptionally rare bottle—so finding it on the menu genuinely thrilled me. It paired perfectly with Aizu dishes such as herring marinated with Japanese pepper leaves. Being able to enjoy such precious sake while traveling is a truly luxurious memory, and it felt like something unique to an Accommodation in Aizu. They also lend inflatable rings for the Onsen. At first I thought, “An inflatable ring in an Onsen?” but after trying it, I was honestly amazed by how comfortable it was. Floating effortlessly while soaking lets you relax even more deeply than usual. It made me appreciate both their creativity and their playful desire for guests to fully enjoy the Onsen experience. The inflatable ring left a strong impression—I could soak almost face-down in complete relaxation. The cuisine, Onsen, and service were all excellent; this wasn’t an Accommodation where only one aspect stood out—the entire experience was consistently high quality. Thoughtful care could be felt everywhere, and the whole place overflowed with genuine hospitality. People say travel is defined by where you stay, and this visit truly proved that saying right. From the superb Onsen and heartwarming service to the eye-opening inflatable ring experience, it became a wonderful trip filled with great memories. We would love to visit again in another season—thank you very much.”

Amazed by how delicious the food was! Honestly, since it’s in the countryside I didn’t expect much, but dinner was surprisingly good. Everything was tasty with Kanto-style seasoning, and the simmered sea bream head was outstanding. In each appetizer, you could feel the chef’s love for cooking. The local specialty, Iwakuni sushi, also had a gentle flavor and was exquisite.\nFor the Room, we recommend the second-floor corner Room where Uno Chiyo’s father once indulged in lavish stays.

Due to the typhoon, it became difficult to stay on Kouri Island. Even after arriving in Okinawa, power outages and other issues meant we were ultimately guided to an Accommodation on Sesoko Island. Above all, the staff in charge were truly wonderful and kept us informed in advance by email and phone. We looked for other places as well, but we still wanted to stay here and held out until the very last minute. We couldn’t stay on Kouri Island, but they arranged Sesoko Island for us, and we had a fulfilling trip. The Accommodation was on Sesoko Island, but I’m sure Kouri Island is also amazing without a doubt. The pool, the Facility, and the staff—everything was excellent!

1. I would be happy if the breakfast price were a little lower. I’d like to take my time and enjoy everything, but mornings are busy, and sometimes I’m not feeling well, so I can’t eat enough to feel it’s worth the cost. 2. Also regarding breakfast: I wanted to drink Japanese tea but couldn’t find it, so I asked a staff member. The reply was rather curt: “The drinks (including tea bags) are only here and over there (such as juices).” Could you please provide Japanese tea bags? 3. About the changing area by the bath: some guests don’t dry themselves properly after bathing, and puddles form in front of the lockers. This isn’t very hygienic, so I hope you can add measures to encourage drying off or use flooring that prevents puddles from forming. Overall, it’s a good Hotel—please keep improving even further.

The room was clean, the facilities were great, and I was very satisfied. However, the price suddenly increased from 50,000 yen for two nights to 89,000 yen, making it unaffordable. I wonder if the price hike is due to an increase in foreign guests. It's disappointing because I really liked this place. Considering that I don't use the washing machine or eat meals here and only stay to sleep, that price is a bit too high. I hope the prices can be adjusted back.

The location is convenient, with nearby convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and FamilyMart. The large public bath is spacious and relaxing, helping you unwind. Check-in was available from 3:00 PM, but when I arrived a little early and was waiting, the staff kindly told me it was fine to go to my room. Breakfast was also delicious, with a Japanese and Western buffet. I would like to stay here again next time.

I stayed here for the Expo. The staff were all very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was also very delicious. The Room was clean and comfortable to use. I look forward to staying again if I have the chance.

This was my first time using Obu Station. I stayed one night at AZ INN Obu near the station. As other Reviews mentioned, the building is old, but it was very clean. The breakfast was also delicious. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.
