A convenience store is nearby, and the property is within walking distance of the station. The Room has a washer-dryer, and detergent is also provided, so being able to use it for free was greatly appreciated. The amenities are well stocked, and having a rice cooker, microwave, and tableware made it very convenient. The Room was properly cleaned and comfortable. I would like to stay again.

As expected of a top-class Hotel. The Hotel staff provided excellent service, making this an Accommodation I’d love to visit again. The meals were plentiful and satisfying, but the amount of fruit felt a bit limited. The location offers outstanding access to sightseeing and dining. We arrived by car, so it would be great if there were a partnered parking lot available.

I stayed here the night before because I wanted to see the Kaiwo Maru under full sail. At check-in, I unexpectedly ran into a child on the stairs! And again when heading out for dinner, right in front of the bath area! My wife and I laughed and wondered if it was a “zashiki-warashi,” and it gave us a warm, cozy feeling. The food was delicious, and we were very satisfied. As for the Kaiwo Maru under full sail mentioned in the title, perhaps because the weather was bad in the morning, it wasn’t fully set—only about half of the sails were raised. It was disappointing, but we decided we’ll check another full-sail day and come again. When we do, we’d love to stay here again.

Stayed one night with breakfast in a twin Room. The Room was small, but it had everything we needed, and we were able to stay comfortably without any issues. Many Hotels these days seem to provide complimentary mineral water, but perhaps because Toyama has great-tasting water, there was no such service. Instead, the front desk offered free drinks such as coffee and barley tea, which we appreciated. Breakfast had a reasonable selection, though several dishes were empty, which was a bit disappointing. Still, considering the Accommodation rate, it was more than satisfactory. Thank you for your hospitality.

A relaxing Accommodation that makes you want to stay again. The staff were very courteous and attentive. Breakfast was served in a lovely atmosphere, and it was very filling. The only drawback is that the on-site parking lot is very narrow. Our car required quite a bit of maneuvering and someone guiding us; there is also a flat lot farther away, but considering the weather and our luggage, we chose the closer option. It’s within walking distance of the bus stop, so we were able to go out after check-in as well.

This has long been one of my favorite Accommodations, and the renovation has made it even more refined. The meals are no longer all-you-can-eat, but the kaiseki cuisine was still very satisfying. The open-air bath is outstanding.

I stay here regularly. The air conditioning works well, the place feels clean, and you can stretch out in the bath—at this price, I have no complaints. The on-site staff are friendly locals, and the management company’s staff are responsive and flexible. However, some diving guests (regulars) take over the first-floor common room for parties and get extremely loud. Still, I will continue to stay here.

The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, so I had a very comfortable stay. The Onsen facilities were also great, and I really enjoyed the variety. However, there was only one coin laundry machine on the floor, so having another would make it more convenient. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

I stayed here during a concert at ORIX Theater. It’s within a 5-minute walk from both Namba Station and ORIX Theater, with several convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. The hallway had vending machines and an ice maker with paper cups, which was helpful. The air conditioning allowed for adjustable temperature and airflow settings, ensuring a comfortable stay.

We stayed as a family of five, and the hospitality was outstanding. Although they call it a welcome drink, the drink corner was available almost all day throughout our Hotel stay, and until dinner there was even unlimited sparkling wine. In addition to the dagashi (Japanese snack) buffet service and amenities such as lotion, they also offered rentals like a baby formula maker and board games—everything you could ask for. The manga corner wasn’t just about the number of volumes; it also had sofas and cozy hideaway-like spaces, so we spent blissful time there. There are sofa reading areas and kids’ spaces throughout the building, making it truly relaxing.\nThe breakfast and dinner buffets didn’t use luxury ingredients, but there were many delicious, well-thought-out dishes. Alcohol was also all-you-can-drink, and we could compare local sake varieties. The kids-only buffet area and automatic pancake oven were fun, and we also enjoyed local specialties such as hoto hot pot and Fujinomiya yakisoba.\nThere were many international guests as well, but plenty of multilingual signs were posted around the Hotel, and everyone followed Japanese manners, so there was no stress at all.\nBecause the building has some age to it, it had a Showa-retro feel; however, Facility such as the toilets were updated to modern models, so it didn’t bother us at all for a family trip.\nWe would love to come again with our whole family.

I stayed here solo as a reward to myself after working hard through the summer. Perched on a hill with ocean views, about 15 minutes from Atami Station by Shuttle Service, it’s only around two hours from my home in Tokyo but felt like a real getaway. From the welcome afternoon tea while soaking in the footbath to the Onsen and delicious meals, I enjoyed everything to the fullest. I’d heard that drinks at dinner were free, but the selection was far more extensive than I expected—even I, who rarely drink alcohol, ended up having sparkling wine and fruit liqueur. This Hotel is surprisingly reasonably priced for what it offers, and you can really feel the effort behind that throughout. The Room was a bit dated and there were some scratches on the fittings and furniture, but details like simple, stylish glasses and cups; using local ingredients even if not luxury items; and keeping amenities to only what’s necessary actually left me with a very positive impression. In earlier Reviews I saw comments such as indoor footwear being wooden geta sandals that were hard to walk in, or that things had become digital and explanations at reception were confusing. However, they now provide stylish slippers indoors, and they also gave clear guidance—including how to use your smartphone—so I felt they genuinely listen to guests’ feedback and keep improving. All of the staff were pleasant right down to housekeeping. As we left in the Shuttle Service car and passed through the gate, I looked back and saw an adorable female staff member waving enthusiastically goodbye—it really warmed my heart. There are a few minor shortcomings if you look for them, but considering the price it’s truly excellent, and I’d love to stay again. Maybe it’s just my bad luck with weather: despite a sunny forecast it stayed cloudy throughout so the sea didn’t look its best. That’s something I’d love to come back for revenge next time (lol).

This was my first time staying at this Hotel. The front desk staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious—I was very satisfied. Just one thing: coffee was provided in the morning, but it was a coffee drink rather than brewed coffee, which was a little disappointing. Still, considering everything overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money. Thank you very much.

I stayed on Sunday. I expected a simpler hotel for the price, but the amenities were well-equipped, the room was clean, and it was quiet, so I was very satisfied. The distance from the station felt a bit far when walking with large luggage. This time, I stayed alone due to feeling unwell on the day of my stay, but next time I would like to stay with someone else. Thank you very much.

Conveniently located just a short walk from Keikyu Otorii Station, with convenience stores and restaurants nearby. What impressed me most was how spacious and clean the Room was. The Room was also bright, and the cleaning was thorough. I highly recommend this Accommodation.

The amenities use high-quality materials, which truly impressed me. I hope you continue to preserve this Japanese character. It was the best Business Hotel I have ever stayed at.

A prior Review mentioned that there were many foreign staff, and it felt like most of the staff were non-Japanese. However, their Japanese was very good and the service was fine, so it didn’t bother me. Amenities are placed in the lobby and you take what you need yourself. They had plenty, including toner, makeup remover, shampoo, etc. You can drink coffee and tea for free at the cafe corner, which was a nice service. The meals were mainly Japanese cuisine and were delicious. Personally, I loved the stylish and cute small plates used for the dishes. The bath was pleasant too, but I felt there weren’t enough hair dryers. Especially for women who need more time to dry their hair, I ended up thinking I’d have to wait my turn… and that it might be faster to go back to my Room with wet hair and dry it there. The view from the Room was great and was the best part. The mountains and river looked beautiful—wonderful scenery.

I used this hotel for an overnight stay after attending an away match. I was able to check in a little earlier than the scheduled time, which was great because I could take a short nap before the game. It’s not far from Iwaki Station and the location is convenient. Breakfast is included, and it’s simple—perfect for busy travelers. The only minor drawback was that there wasn’t a power outlet by the bed. The front desk staff were cheerful and left a good impression.

I was a bit worried after reading the Reviews, but while the property is indeed old and the Facilities are modest, it was well cleaned and the service was good. I think the nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere and this price make it very reasonable. There are also many delicious restaurants nearby, so I was very satisfied. I would like to stay again.

As there was availability, we were upgraded for free from a Standard Room to a Superior Room. The in-room washing machine was very helpful, especially since I had forgotten some underwear during the summer. The Room was spacious and the bed was large, making our stay very comfortable. However, the lighting overall was quite dim and hard to see. The bathroom also had a light, but it was so dark that it was difficult to tell whether it was on or off. The staff were very courteous. I wanted to use the late checkout until 1:00 PM offered for posting a Review, but when I mentioned that I could only post the Review after 1:00 PM, they said checking out at 1:00 PM would still be fine. I called during the busy morning checkout time, but thank you for your pleasant and helpful response.

Thank you for having me for one night. I had made a Reservation for a standard Room, but since rain was forecast, I changed to a Room with an open-air Onsen bath on the day. Choosing to soak at a slightly cooler temperature while listening to the rain turned out to be exactly right. The Room was well designed and functional, and I didn’t feel any particular inconvenience. If I had to name one thing I personally wished for, it would be a Bluetooth speaker—I wanted to play a little music, though that may be asking too much. I arrived before noon, left my luggage, and had lunch at “Saryo Sese” on the property (I had requested seats in advance). It’s not cheap, but it was relaxed and enjoyable. After that, I spent some time walking around the city and then checked in properly. The evening champagne free-flow was also wonderfully unhurried, and the rice crackers served as snacks were delicious. For dinner we ate at one of the Hotel restaurants as well; each dish had its own character, and it paired nicely with drinks. If anything, I only wished there were a bar in the Hotel—this is an Accommodation with an atmosphere where having somewhere for “one more drink” would fit perfectly. The area around the Hotel is very quiet too, so even a small bar could really change how you spend your time here. That said, given the location, waking up early to stroll toward Todai-ji in the calm morning is also lovely—and perhaps that kind of stay suits this Accommodation and setting better than staying up late. The concierge team helped me greatly throughout my stay. Overall it was an excellent Accommodation, and I’d love to return when I visit Nara again.
