The building was new and comfortable. However, the location was not ideal.

A 2-minute walk to Haraoka Pier (Okamoto Pier). From the Room you can also see the pier and Mt. Fuji, with the sea right in front—an unbeatable location. The building is old, but the Room has been nicely renovated; you lay out the futon and use it with fresh new sheets. There is no bathtub, only a shower, but there are also nearby day-use Onsen facilities, a roadside station, and convenience stores. If you don’t need luxury, it offers excellent value for money. Strawberry picking at the roadside station was fun too. It also has air conditioning, a TV, and Wi‑Fi. I’d like to come back and try SUP in the warmer season as well. The closest vending machine to the pier is also at this Accommodation—I enjoyed a warm coffee at dawn.

The service was overpriced. It is unclear which characters are not allowed.

I stayed at the accommodation to visit Cape Nosappu, the easternmost point. The room was located at the far end on the roadside. On the first night, I was alone, but early in the morning, it started raining. Due to the old building structure, I could hear dripping sounds from gaps in the roof—drip... drip... It seemed like accumulated rainwater wasn't draining properly and was falling through some gap near my room's height level. From around 3 a.m., it became noisy and kept me awake. On the second night, there were three people staying in total. One person went out and returned quietly after lights-out time without any issues. However, another person made loud banging noises on my door around 2:30 a.m., saying to lock it properly. So I locked it before sleeping again—but still heard banging sounds as if someone was trying to open it! I had read online that similar accommodations across The Whole Country sometimes have incidents where people feel someone's presence or see a man standing if they don't lock their doors while sleeping—so I made sure to lock mine tightly! Even so, there were loud bangs again!! Turning on my room light caused bright light leakage through gaps near my head area which made sleeping difficult once more; additionally intermittent electronic beeping from nearby phones disturbed peace for nearly half an hour… Eventually fell asleep only waking up by 5:00 AM then quietly got ready by half-past five yet received throat-clearing noises directed towards me? Strange experience overall. The skylight also let too much brightness during mornings making restful sleep challenging further compounded by midnight disturbances like door-banging & random electronic alerts being most bothersome aspects honestly speaking... Having milk alongside one slice bread helped somewhat balance things out though felt grateful overall given affordable pricing offered here!

We stayed as a family of five. The Room was spacious, clean, and had a loft. Overall, we were very satisfied. Here are a few points we noticed that weren’t mentioned in the Hotel details. Check-in is done by yourself on the tablet in the Room; you need to enter personal information for all guests and take a face photo. Check-out was completed with just one button. There was a washing machine outdoors. (We didn’t use it, so I’m not sure if it’s available for use.) There is no TV in the Room. (It’s quiet without one, but families with small children may want to bring a tablet or similar device.) The hair dryer is located near the bed rather than in the bathroom vanity area. (We searched all over before finding it.) The bathtub is quite large, but the front area is deeper than expected, so be careful when getting in. (Even adults may find it surprisingly deep; please watch children closely.) We were concerned that the light shades above the dining/kitchen area were quite dirty. The kitchen exhaust fan won’t run unless you first press the switch next to the small window. The rice cooker has a 5-cup capacity. We heard that the outdoor sauna was easy to operate and very enjoyable. In summer, it would be nice if it could be used until later hours. We would like to stay again if we have another opportunity.

It didn’t feel particularly new, but I appreciated that the bathroom and toilet were separate. The front desk staff were also courteous.

The property offers a stunning ocean view right in front, and the lighthouse is within walking distance. You can enjoy a peaceful time listening to the gentle sound of the waves. Please note that nearby shops close early, so it’s recommended to call ahead if you plan to dine out.

The room, facilities, bath, and meals were all extremely satisfying. The meal menu was diverse, and above all, the drinks were incredibly affordable. The morning plate was warm and delicious. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Although there are some reviews mentioning "hair," we found no such issues at all; the cleanliness was impeccable. The bath was very spacious with a large-screen bath TV to enjoy, and there were plenty of amenities available. We stayed as an elderly couple and found it more than satisfactory—truly exceptional! Our future travel plans will likely revolve around Fine hotels in various locations. We're already considering when to stay at this hotel again next time! Despite calling multiple times, we deeply appreciate the staff's prompt responses and their heartfelt service.

Hotels near Kochi Station are generally quite pricey... But I found a reasonably priced, great-value Hotel! After staying there, I found it very comfortable, with a delicious breakfast—an excellent Accommodation. I’ll definitely stay again! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an affordable and good Accommodation!

We stayed here during Obon while visiting family graves in Kunisaki. Thanks to the dog shower room, our dog could play to the fullest at the walkable sandy beach and the spacious dog run. Since we were arriving late this time, we didn’t have dinner, but it was very helpful at breakfast that dogs are welcome in the restaurant and there are free-to-use carts (for large dogs). Next time, we’ll definitely enjoy the luxurious dinner! It was a wonderful trip. Thank you very much.

The bathroom is spacious and even includes a washing area, but the chair was too small, which was uncomfortable for someone like me with back pain. A slightly larger chair would have been perfect... Otherwise, everything was satisfactory.

I stayed here during the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival. The price was about five times higher than usual, but I understand that. However, the twin Room I reserved was clearly different from the photos—it seemed like a single Room with an extra bed added. I chose this because I wanted beds that were separated, so I was very disappointed. If there were any changes, I would have appreciated being informed properly in advance.

I love the private sauna at this Hotel group, and I’m a big fan of this Hotel. The Room is equipped with cooking utensils, a washing machine, and other amenities, so I can truly relax and spend time comfortably in the Room. I always have a wonderful staycation here. The sauna is also fantastic: a cold plunge bath with a cooling function and an outdoor air-bathing space. It’s truly the best. There is also a large public bath available, so you can enjoy more than just the bath in your Room. However, perhaps the timing was unfortunate when I used the large public bath—the towel bin was overflowing to the point that it couldn’t hold any more towels, and inside the bathing area there were body towels left behind and noticeable trash around the washing stations. That was disappointing. (I understand that leaving body towels or trash behind is an issue of guest manners.) I don’t know whether this happened despite frequent cleaning, or whether many guests happened to use it at once during that time, but that was the only downside. Even so, I had a truly wonderful stay. I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.

The front desk staff provided courteous and pleasant service during both check-in and check-out. The complimentary services were exceptional, especially the free dinner bowls, which were the highlight of my stay. I only needed to purchase a salad and edamame from a convenience store to complete a satisfying dinner. That evening, there were curry and two types of bowls (frozen pre-packaged beef bowl and ginger pork bowl), both of which were truly delicious. The free soft drink bar even included an alcohol button, offering highballs and sours, with sake available nearby. Additionally, there were stick drinks, tea bags, soup packets, mini ramen, ochazuke packs, and bean snacks, making the service truly outstanding. However, I was disappointed not to find a cold water pitcher, which I believe is in high demand. The hotel also has an attached izakaya, which I considered visiting if I wanted more drinks. However, the loud voices of some patrons early in the evening made it uninviting, so I decided not to go. When I asked the front desk about takeout options, they mentioned it was a separate business, so they were unsure. In the end, the free bowls and drinks were more than enough, and I didn’t use the izakaya. The breakfast venue is the same izakaya, operating in a buffet style. Nearly half the seating area is used for the food stations, resulting in limited seating and potential wait times depending on the timing. When I stayed at Toyoko Inn Kurashiki, the lobby served as the breakfast area, which was quite small, but they provided takeout bento boxes for room dining, allowing for a relaxed breakfast experience. If the crowding persists, this could be a consideration for improvement. The bed in the room had a springy mattress, which I personally found uncomfortable. This was my second experience, after Cuore Kurashiki Hotel, where I bounced too much during a turn and fell off the bed. The height caused me to hit my knee hard, leaving a significant bruise. The rental services were excellent, so I would appreciate the addition of bed guards or floor impact-absorbing mats for rental. This would provide peace of mind for future stays. Close to the station and surrounded by restaurants, the Hotel is very convenient. The Room had a separate sink, making it very user-friendly. The staff were also very kind and helpful.

Although it is an old-fashioned Hotel, it was very clean, and the front desk staff provided clear explanations and excellent service. The meals were also delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I had reserved a standard single Room, but since there was availability, I was upgraded. I truly appreciated that and the Room itself was nice; however, it was on the second floor, and to my surprise, the corridor outside the door was open to the outdoors, like an apartment building. This really shocked me. On days with heavy rain, wouldn’t luggage get wet? It may have been an extension, but I felt there could be structural issues with the building design. Also, because it is right next to a neighboring building (which may be unavoidable given that it’s in Kabukicho), the view is not very pleasant. I have stayed at other APA Hotels before and have also stayed many times at other Business Hotels in Tokyo, but this was my first time experiencing something like this. If possible, I think it would be better to improve this.
