Hotel New Palace

Stayed as a solo traveler.\nBy chance, I was shown to a spacious Room on the top floor.\nIt was almost too large, and I was thrilled. From the window,\nI could clearly see the neighboring castle ruins (stone walls), which was great.\nBreakfast was delicious as well, and I was very satisfied.\nIf I may mention just one thing, the smoking room on the second floor is far too hot.\nOther than that, everything is perfect. If you don’t smoke, this Accommodation comes highly recommended.

I stayed for one night in March as a solo guest, without meals.The Room was spacious, simple, and relaxing.I felt very reassured by the notice near the kettle saying it is thoroughly cleaned. Also, many Hotels provide only two towels (a bath towel and a face towel), so I usually bring my own for hand-drying, but I was happy that an extra towel was provided as well.If I had to mention a drawback, access to the front desk was only by elevator. It overlapped with a group check-in, and I had to wait through several trips. Fortunately it wasn’t during checkout when time is tighter. I also wondered whether the emergency stairs could be used smoothly in an emergency.In addition, scaffolding had been set up at (slightly to the side of) the front of the Hotel and contractors were working there. As I passed by, a small pipe fell right in front of me; one step closer and it could have caused an injury. Considering guests are coming and going, it would feel safer if safety cones or similar barriers were placed nearby.
