Livemax Resort Hakodate Greenpia Onuma

We stayed here for 2 nights during our 5-night trip to Hakodate. We had some concerns about bears, but the Reviews were good and there were plenty of things for kids to enjoy, such as the pool, so we decided to stay here for the first time. Because the Accommodation Fee was a great deal, we didn’t expect much, but we were amazed by how high the food quality was. We stayed two nights and dinner was different each night; the sashimi was fresh, the tempura was just as good as at a specialty tempura restaurant, and it felt like they use high-quality ingredients overall. We take family trips about five times a year, and this was by far the best value Accommodation we’ve ever stayed at.The view from our Room is also great, and if you have a rental car it’s about 40 minutes to sightseeing in Hakodate or cycling at Onuma Park—so you can enjoy a different kind of Hakodate trip from most people.We also stayed at popular Hotels in Hakodate city and Yunokawa Onsen, but even our child (5th grade) said this place was the best.

After relaxing in the Onsen and sauna, it was time for dinner—an unbelievable amount of food. Shiraoi beef, crab, eel, abalone… just when we started wondering if we could finish it all, freshly fried tempura arrived too, and we were absolutely stuffed.Isn’t this generosity a bit too much? We’ve also stayed at Livemax in Shiraoi before; the amenities are excellent, and even the bathhouse hair dryers are ReFa. We travel nearby about 6–8 times a year, and for value for money this is definitely among the best. We’ll be back again. Thank you very much.
