Hotel Pearl City Kesennuma

I stayed for one night with breakfast at a reasonable price. I was surprised that the buffet breakfast had no tableware—only paper cups and disposable chopsticks, with no spoons or napkins.Without expecting much, I started with just rice, miso soup, natto, and pickled plum, and it was genuinely delicious. After trying the grilled fish, seasoned mushrooms (nameko), soft-boiled egg, and more, I found everything to be excellent—far better than expected. The chef clearly has great taste, so I wanted to share this feedback.

I stayed here for three nights while walking the Michinoku Coastal Trail around Kesennuma.The building and Facility are old, but everything is kept clean, and the walls are thick enough that I could sleep peacefully at night. The front desk staff were also very courteous. My Plan included a breakfast buffet, so I used it every morning. Nothing fancy, but the rice and side dishes were delicious—I ended up getting seconds every time, which I normally don’t do.There are only a few restaurants near the Hotel, and convenience stores are far away, so it’s best to take care of dinner and shopping on the port side. Since I relied heavily on the BRT and buses this time, it was very convenient for me, and I felt it was a good Accommodation for the price.Thank you very much for your hospitality.
