EN RESORT Kumejima EEF Beach Hotel

This was our second stay, following last year.First of all, this is the best Hotel in every way.The breakfast buffet offers gentle, comforting dishes and is delicious.I’ve traveled to Okinawa 14 times, and Ifu’s BBQ is outstanding—No. 1.The bath was great, and above all, the view from the Room and the sunrise were also No. 1.I was able to recharge with wonderful energy every morning. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, it’s very convenient, and there’s a convenience store close by—also excellent.And this time, because a typhoon was approaching, we changed our schedule,and you kindly accommodated changes to the BBQ date as well; I truly appreciated your considerate support in many ways.As last year, the staff were pleasant and wonderful. It’s a Hotel that makes me want to come back twice or three times next year…For now, we’re planning to visit next June,so we look forward to seeing you then.It became the best Kumejima trip.

- Outstanding location right in front of the ocean with no road in between, offering easy beach access (rare even across Okinawa). - A comfortable, not-too-large scale that feels calm and relaxing. - The building is older, but the lobby and corridors are clean and renovated; I was worried, but it was not an issue. - The Room is not especially large for a resort (30), but it didn’t feel small. It has also been renovated; again, my concerns were unfounded and it was comfortable. The only downside was the unit bath—I’d love to see it changed to a separate bath and toilet in the next renovation if possible. - Breakfast felt thoughtfully prepared and was delicious. - There is a pool between the Hotel and the sea, plus a lawn area, which was great. I enjoyed spending time on the chairs there at sunset. - Ieefu Beach right in front has almost white sand and beautiful ocean colors; in sunlight it’s dazzling in a good way. - Near the shore, sand mixes into the water so clarity isn’t very high, but a little farther out the transparency is excellent. - Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay—my worries that it might feel too old or not “resort-like” because it isn’t flashy were completely unnecessary. - Downsides: the restaurant is not open for lunch; dinner is barbecue only; I wanted to use the bar at sunset but it remained closed throughout—these all seemed due to limited staffing.
