Wan Wan Paradise Takayama

This was my fourth stay.This place is exceptionally well-equipped for dogs, and everything is comfortable. When it comes to Facilities where you can stay with your dog, owners often have to compromise on something, but here both the meals and the baths were completely satisfying. The Hotel staff are kind, and it’s simply a very welcoming place.We stayed during the Obon holiday period, but it was wonderfully cool, and our dog—who had been worn out by the summer heat of over 35°C every day—was full of energy again. It’s truly an ideal summer retreat.

Every year around this time, we travel with our sister dogs. Since we’re coming from the Kanto and Kansai regions, we chose this place as a convenient midway point. This time, we made Reservations for three Rooms. We’ve stayed at Wanwan Paradise in the Kinki area before.To be honest, we didn’t have high expectations for dinner and breakfast, but both were very satisfying. We enjoyed spending time in nature, and our dogs had plenty of fun running around in the spacious dog run—they seemed really happy too. The walking path was a little scary when thinking about bears, though...With so few Accommodations where you can stay with dogs, we were truly satisfied. The other guests were friendly as well, so we could relax without feeling self-conscious. We’d love to come back if we have the chance.Thank you very much for everything—it became a wonderful memory for us.
