Ishinoya Beppu (TKP Hotels & Resorts)

I stayed at Ishi no Ya Beppu on a solo trip.Unfortunately, it rained on the first day... The front desk staff were very welcoming, and I was able to enter my Room comfortably.The Room was wonderful—more than enough for one person—and having an Onsen bath was the best!Dinner was a creative course meal. The restaurant staff were also excellent, and every dish was delicious!The next day, after breakfast, I went to the sand bath. It felt amazing.A staff member even took photos with my smartphone for me, which made for a great memory (lol).Since it was SHONIN PARK’s 1st anniversary, various events were being held.The nighttime illuminations were very beautiful.It had been a while since my last solo trip, but it turned into a really great one.Thank you very much.

There were so many wonderful things—far beyond what I expected!The best part was the in-room Onsen.The bath was already filled, and I think it was at the natural source temperature, so it was quite hot and I adjusted it with cold water. Even slightly diluted, the water quality was still excellent.It also seemed to help with that summer chill from air conditioning; even a short soak warmed me through and helped me relax deeply. Hearing the sound of the waves while soaking was also fantastic.If people are walking along the seaside promenade, they can be seen from the terrace, but it didn’t bother me much. Depending on the Room, if it’s closer to the promenade, it might be more noticeable.The Room itself isn’t very large, but having a terrace and an Onsen made it feel open and spacious.The amenities were great as well.There were bottled waters both at room temperature and in the refrigerator, which was nice. The coffee selection was also plentiful—both drip coffee and an espresso machine.Waking up to the sunrise over Beppu Bay was an amazing experience.I’d love to come again. Thank you very much.
