Furuyu Onsen ONCRI

This time, five of us stayed: my grandmother, my mother, me, my daughter, and my son. It was a day to fulfill my mother’s wish to take my grandmother—whose mobility has been declining—to the Onsen, and my daughter’s request to visit an Onsen after starting university in the Kanto region. At the Accommodation, we were able to borrow a wheelchair to get around. Since using the large public bath would have been difficult, we made a Reservation for a Room with an in-room bath and enjoyed quality time together as a family. My grandmother seemed to have such a wonderful time—she chatted more than usual, had some drinks for the first time in a while, and stayed up past midnight enjoying time with her great-grandchildren.

I apologize for the inconvenience caused by having to redo my Reservation multiple times due to work commitments and important personal events. Even so, your consistently thoughtful hospitality—attentive yet never intrusive—made for a truly relaxing stay, and although it was brief, I was able to unwind fully. For this visit, we chose teppanyaki at “WATAHAN” for dinner, and thanks to Chef Y and S, who assisted us throughout, my wife and I enjoyed an even more memorable dining experience. In the beautiful Room, we were also able to fully appreciate the view. To all the staff who showed such care and consideration—especially M, whom I had not seen in some time—please accept my sincere thanks once again. I look forward to visiting your property again.
