We stayed here as a family. Above all, the in-room open-air bath with free-flowing hot spring water was outstanding, and it was memorable to relax while taking in views of Suruga Bay and the sunset. The setting, surrounded by abundant nature across 6,000 tsubo of grounds, was also refreshing and allowed us to unwind and forget about everyday life.Meals were served in a private dining room exclusively for each guest room, and we enjoyed them at a leisurely pace in a space with an irori hearth. The monthly rotating creative Izu kaiseki cuisine was delightful both visually and in flavor, and we felt the attentive hospitality throughout. We also enjoyed visiting the two reservable open-air baths, and it was a nice touch to have local milk after bathing.This is an Accommodation we would love to return to, and one we would recommend to families as well.

I was able to relax without worrying about anyone, simply soaking in the open-air bath in our Room and enjoying delicious meals. We booked this Accommodation at the last minute, but it truly helped us feel refreshed. With a bathrobe provided, I could sit on the balcony chair to cool down and then go back into the Onsen—pure bliss. I also heard that only about 1% of Accommodations offer free-flowing natural hot spring water straight from the source. It was a truly luxurious experience. Every dish was delicious, and my husband and I also enjoyed comparing sake by ordering two different 4-item tasting sets (Set 1 and Set 2). We would love to visit again.Two points I would like to see improved: the shower water pressure in the Room was weak, and during breakfast, when explaining the grilled fish, a staff member spoke without a mask while coming within about 15 cm of the food.I am sharing these points in hopes they will be improved.
