Conveniently located very close to the subway station, making for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also varied and delicious. The guest room was kept very clean. Some hotels often have a distinctive lingering odor, but this Hotel had none at all and felt exceptionally fresh and spotless. I was able to sleep comfortably as well. Another pleasant surprise was that the pajamas included pants. Most places provide only a top in a yukata style, but this Hotel’s service was attentive even in that regard. I would like to stay here again when I travel to Tokyo on business.

Very convenient, just a short walk from the station. The front desk looked quite old, so I braced myself before entering the Room, but it had been renovated and was clean, which was great. I arrived before check-in time and asked on the off chance; they kindly let me in early, which was a big help.

We stayed one night while visiting the National Museum of Nature and Science and the zoo with our two children. The building is old, but it’s within walking distance of Ueno Station and Ameya-Yokocho, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. They can store your luggage, the Hotel staff were kind, there’s a large public bath, Child Sharing Existing Bedding is free, free drinks are available, and there’s an amenity bar. Our kids had a great time!

The Room was more than sufficient for spending the night alone. The bed was spacious, and the mattress was supportive—not too soft or prone to sinking—so it was extremely comfortable. The bathtub is quite compact. For some reason, the elevator hall on the second floor has no ceiling and was exposed to the rain, so it was wet. It wasn’t an issue with light rain, but it could be difficult in heavy rain. Since the microwave is located in the breakfast service area, it had been put away by morning. They warmed up my convenience-store soup in the kitchen, but I was told not to eat it at the breakfast venue and to eat it in my Room instead. They also stored my luggage even before check-in, which I really appreciated because I didn’t have to carry a large bag around. Thank you very much.

I contacted the Hotel to let them know I would be late for my scheduled check-in time, and they kindly assured me it was fine, which was a huge help!\nThe Hotel interior was beautiful, and the Room was very comfortable.\nI will definitely stay here again when I come back!!

I stayed on Sunday night, and it was a quiet Hotel that didn’t feel like it was right in the middle of Ueno, so I was able to relax. The Room was spacious and clean, with thorough housekeeping, and the Hotel felt very well maintained. I would like to stay here again when I visit Ueno.

The Room is stylishly designed so it doesn’t feel too small. The Soup Stock Tokyo soup and bread were delicious, and I really enjoyed them at check-in when I was a bit hungry. I had a comfortable stay. It’s conveniently close to Ueno Station, and I was able to relax. Another highlight was the spacious shower booth, which made it even more enjoyable. I’d like to stay again.

I used the facility for a day stay. Since the large public bath with an open-air bath was available from 3:00 PM, I used it. I was able to relax while soaking in the Shigaraki-ware ceramic bath. I will use it again.

The location was great. There was a 7-Eleven nearby, which was convenient. The Hotel Facilities aren’t new, but there were no inconveniences at all during my stay. However, at night I could clearly hear the sound of the neighboring room’s shower head hitting the wall, and in the morning I could hear voices in the hallway and doors opening and closing quite loudly. Also, I stayed on the 4th floor and felt that the water pressure weakened when multiple people were bathing at the same time. Basic amenities were available in the lobby, so it wasn’t a problem. I relaxed until right before checkout time, and the housekeeping staff’s greeting and smiles were very nice. I’ll consider staying here again when I come to Ueno.

If you don’t mind the price, there are probably Hotels closer to Tokyo Dome, but when I searched on Yahoo! Travel, this one was reasonably priced. To get to Tokyo Dome: it’s about a 10-minute walk from the Hotel to Okachimachi Station (I walk slowly), then from Okachimachi you transfer once at Akihabara to Suidobashi, and after that it’s about a 10-minute walk to Tokyo Dome (again, I walk slowly). They stored my luggage in the morning, there was a microwave right outside the elevator, and they cleaned the Room even during a Multiple Night Stay. There was also a bedside clock (I didn’t check whether it had an alarm function). They said there were women-only services; at check-in I received one-time pouches of each item—face mask sheet, makeup remover, facial cleanser, toner, and serum—as well as bath salts. You can receive one set per stay (once per Accommodation), but you can get one of each type. I was especially happy about the face mask. The shower water pressure was neither too strong nor too weak, and there were no issues with toilet flushing. Of course there was a washlet and a hair dryer (the airflow is slightly weak but it’s quiet and also has a cool setting). The “cleaning needed/not needed” sign was magnetic, so I could cover and block the peephole as well. The lock is an auto-lock card key system (card must be returned when checking out); inside the door there is only a thumbturn lock. I would have been even happier if there had been a trash bin near the sink. Occasionally I heard water sounds like someone flushing in another Room. I’m not sure whether anyone stayed next door; as for voices, I only faintly heard staff talking while cleaning in the hallway. Also on the morning of day two, for some reason my Room sometimes smelled like grilled fish. What bothered me most is that the Hotel entrance has stairs with no ramp, so you need to lift heavy luggage. All in all, it was more than sufficient for traveling for a live show. Overall, I think it was good.

I stayed here to coincide with my parents’ trip to Tokyo. I have a special attachment to Ueno Park, so I was hoping for a Room with a nice view, and I was truly happy that you arranged a top-floor Room with an excellent view. Thank you very much. Because I have trouble walking long distances and using stairs, it was a huge help that the Hotel is directly connected to Ueno Station, making getting around very easy. For anyone with mobility issues, I think this is the only choice among Hotels in the Ueno area. The Italian breakfast was also delicious, and I was surprised to be able to enjoy large mussels first thing in the morning. Since it’s next to an expressway, I wondered if the air quality might be poor, but inside the Hotel was clean and comfortable.

I’ve stayed here before—have the rooms been renovated? It felt like the bathrooms and other water areas were cleaner than last time, which made my stay very comfortable. I think the complimentary breakfast offers a satisfying amount and selection, especially for women. They also store luggage before check-in and after check-out, which is a huge help since the location near Ueno Station makes it easy to end up with lots of shopping bags. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in town.

While looking for an affordable Hotel in Ueno for a Saturday stay, I found this one and made a Reservation. It was close to the station, the staff were warm and friendly, and I was able to relax comfortably in a Room with a nostalgic atmosphere. I also appreciated being able to check in early when they told me my Room was ready. Ueno has so many places to see, so I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

I chose this place for its convenient location near the station and affordable price. I didn’t have high expectations for the Facility, but the Room was spacious and clean, and both the bed and bedding were excellent. The front desk staff were polite and kind—thank you very much. I stayed with a friend, and they were satisfied as well. I would like to stay again.\nSince Wi‑Fi is available only as a rental, I gave fewer stars, but honestly it feels like a full 5 out of 5.

When I entered the Room and looked outside, the brilliantly shining Tokyo Skytree was right there—I don’t get to visit Tokyo often, so seeing it made me very happy. Thank you for this dreamlike stroke of luck.

The front desk staff made a great impression. The Room is old but clean, and the mini-kitchen and ample storage—making good use of its former studio layout—are very convenient. Also, the coin laundry on the first floor is inexpensive, and the gas dryers finish quickly; with plenty of machines available, it was really helpful.

This was my second stay. The location is excellent, and since I only needed a place to sleep after a live show, the discounted rate with a 10:00 PM check-in was exactly what I wanted. They also store your luggage before check-in, which is very helpful. Last time I stayed on Friday and this time on Saturday. The outside noise (drunk people shouting) wasn’t an issue before, but this time it was pretty bad—though it quieted down before midnight. As mentioned in other Reviews, it didn’t bother me last time, but this time I woke up to the voices of the delivery company across the street starting around just before 8:00 AM. I think this probably depends on whether your Room faces the street. That said, it’s very convenient overall, so I’ll stay again. Thank you.

Just steps from the Ginza Line exit, it was convenient for bar hopping and sightseeing. The front desk staff were helpful, and the Hotel and Room were clean, quiet, and comfortable.

This was my first stay. The street in front of the Hotel faces the Tokyo Skytree, and there is also a supermarket nearby. The front desk staff provided polite service with clear explanations, and I found the cute decor near the outdoor smoking area bench to be heartwarming. Room wear can be chosen before taking the elevator. Towels and basic amenities are available in the Room, along with bottled water in the refrigerator. There is also stick tea and coffee with a kettle provided. The Room layout is efficient, though the refrigerator is slightly small without a freezer compartment—so ice or frozen items might not work well here. Suitcases can fit under the bed for storage convenience. My Room had a simple stool as seating, which was sufficient for me. There are USB ports and power outlets by the bedside, as well as a safe for storing valuables when using facilities like an open-air bath or while sleeping at night for peace of mind. The rooftop open-air bath has high walls that block views but offers a refreshing experience overall! The baths alternate between men’s and women’s use; although I checked in late at night thinking I’d miss it, I was delighted to find morning hours allocated for women too! There are three washing stations available inside; however, only baskets are provided in changing areas instead of lockers—guests bring their towels from their Rooms using mesh bags provided by Hotel management during check-in procedures. I appreciated that there wasn’t any chlorine smell from bathing water itself either! A minor downside: my Room had an overly sweet scent lingering around initially (possibly air freshener?), plus slight odor issues noticed while operating toilet bidet functions—it seemed chlorine-based perhaps? This could vary depending on individual Rooms though. Overall impression remains highly positive—I’d love returning again someday soon! While exploring Kappabashi shopping street amidst summer heat proved challenging due limited time outdoors—it still felt like such vibrant neighborhood full exciting discoveries awaiting next visit ahead!

This time, we made a reservation for accommodation as part of a family trip. It is a good accommodation where you can stay with a sense of everyday life if you don't expect too much. Coming from the countryside, we were slightly bothered by the noise from the upper floors and voices from neighboring rooms, but the futon was clean, and the room itself was also clean, so it was good.
