The Comfort Twin West Room was spacious, with refined interiors and a great view, making for a very satisfying stay. We booked a breakfast-only Plan, but the buffet was delicious, including their signature freshly grilled patty burgers and French toast. A fond memory is going with my niece again and again to make the monthly-flavor soft-serve ice cream. My mother liked it so much that she said she would like to stay here every month as a way to unwind. We made wonderful family memories. We were extremely satisfied and would love to stay again.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Sannomiya Station, just across National Route 2. After arriving and checking in at the lobby, I noticed a ring toss game next to the lobby. It brought back childhood memories for me, and although it was my first time playing in over 40 years, I missed all five tries. It was rare to see a ring toss game inside a hotel—was this part of the service? My room was on the 4th floor of a 19-story building. Near the lobby there were Kobe souvenirs for sale, and they also sold ice cream. Higher floors would have offered great views of Kobe at night, but since I was on the 4th floor, I could only see the lower nighttime scenery because of all the surrounding high-rise buildings. On the first floor there is a dining area with Union Curry. I ordered a large curry as a late-night meal and ate it in my room. I had a very comfortable stay—the bed felt great and I slept well. The next morning, I learned that the tap water comes from Mt. Rokko. I drank some and it tasted very good. Mt. Rokko’s water is known throughout Japan for its quality. For me, Kobe is the best place to stay in Kansai because it’s lively, the food and water are delicious, sightseeing is great, and it’s such an enjoyable city that I never get tired of visiting no matter how many times I go. Thank you very much. I will come again next time.

The location is convenient for getting anywhere, and the front desk staff were very kind and helpful. This was my second stay, and I would like to stay here again when I visit Kobe.

I was visiting Kobe and looking for a reasonably priced place to stay when I found this Accommodation. The spa and sauna—especially the Finland-certified sauna—were excellent. The food was delicious, and I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. I’ve stayed here more than once, and I’ll continue to use it whenever I go to Sannomiya, or even when I visit Kyoto. It’s a favorite of mine.

A truly wonderful, antique-style hotel that perfectly captures the charm of Kobe Kitano. It felt like staying in a Western-style residence. More like being a guest in someone’s private home than staying at a hotel. The bathroom was spacious and had a window, so it was bright during the day, and the bubble bath was incredibly relaxing. Checkout was nice and late, so I even enjoyed a morning bath. With the morning light streaming in, it was simply amazing. It made me think I’d love to live in such a calm room. We had breakfast on the terrace. They also provided pick-up and drop-off in a beautiful car, which made it feel even more elegant—absolutely wonderful. Thank you for letting us fully enjoy such an extraordinary experience. Nothing to complain about!

I was on a business trip, but my wife and I stayed here for one night together. After I finished work, I met up with her; she wandered around a bit until 3:00 p.m., then checked in first to rest. She called me urgently to say there was a stink bug in the Room. Well, bugs can happen—but she really can’t handle them... So she contacted the front desk. While she kept an eye on it so it wouldn’t disappear, a Hotel staff member came up and launched an “operation” to capture it without letting it release its smell (lol). Tokyu REI—impressive as expected. Not because the capture itself was amazing, but because they had already brought a key for another Room. According to my wife, even though the bug hadn’t released any smell at all, they still said, “It smells a little—please stay in this Room,” and handed her the key. That put her in such a good mood that she happily enjoyed plenty of drinks that night (lol). Even at checkout the next day, they noticed us and came over to speak with us again. We’re grateful for their kindness—it added an extra touch to make our two days even more memorable. My wife says, “Next time we come to Kobe, we’ll choose this place without hesitation.”

Three of us stayed one night in a triple room to enjoy a live show with friends. In addition to the three beds, there was a sofa where all three of us could sit comfortably. The room was very well equipped, with a refrigerator, microwave, cutlery, and other tableware—everything we needed. We also enjoyed watching on the large projector screen and had a great time together. The location was excellent, so we were able to take a morning walk and easily enjoy sightseeing as well—shopping around town and having lunch in Nankinmachi were both very pleasant. Thank you very much.

All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room, of course, and even the bath area were thoroughly cleaned and spotless—very comfortable. I was personally happy to have a variety of grilled fish at breakfast. The bath facilities were great too: a footbath with a night view and a sauna—everything was excellent. I also liked the vending machines for coffee and other drinks by the footbath, along with the tables and chairs. Plus, it’s directly connected to Kobe Station, so you won’t get wet in the rain. There’s also an attached shopping mall. It’s an easy walk to Meriken Park for an evening stroll. You can even buy souvenirs on the same floor as the front desk, with a fairly wide selection. It was so good that I felt this is the only place to stay when visiting Kobe—I’d love to come again.

It was conveniently located near Sannomiya Station, and being on the south side, the area around the Hotel was clean and pleasant. The Room was clean and comfortable. Amenities and service are streamlined—you pick up water yourself after check-in—but I felt that this simplicity helped keep the price reasonable. The bath was a typical in-room bath found in many hotels, but I appreciated receiving a bath additive.

This time I used the municipal subway, and the Hotel was very convenient as it is located just outside the exit. There are also restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so I had no trouble finding anything I needed. Considering the price, it was understandable, but I was disappointed that there were no women’s amenities such as makeup remover, and I felt that the bathroom and toilet were small.

This was my first stay here. I arrived earlier than the check-in time and asked to leave my luggage, but since housekeeping had already finished, they kindly accommodated me and let me into my Room early. The Room was spotless and very comfortable. I was impressed that the in-room safe was designed to blend in with the interior so it wouldn’t disrupt the Room’s atmosphere. Also, while there were no drinks provided in the Room, there was a complimentary drink service in the lounge. From 17:00 to 20:00, happy hour included sparkling wine and other alcoholic beverages as well as light snacks, which felt like a great value. Whenever I went out or returned to the Hotel, staff always greeted me with “Have a nice day” and “Welcome back,” which made my stay very pleasant. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

It was very convenient and close to the venue! It was also near the station and within walking distance, which was a huge help. I realized at check-in that I had forgotten my phone charger and thought I would need to buy one somewhere. But they offered not only chargers, but a variety of rental services—I was impressed! There was also a shampoo and conditioner bar, and welcome drinks were available until 24:00. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I slept soundly. Thank you very much!

After seeing a YouTuber’s post about the same Accommodation in another prefecture, my spouse and I decided to stay here. After traveling and sightseeing, we were warmly welcomed at check-in. The Room was more spacious than expected, so we could truly relax. From 5:00 PM, we thoroughly enjoyed plenty of alcohol during happy hour along with snacks purchased separately. After having a late-night meal, we unwound in the large public bath. It helped us recover from our everyday fatigue. The only disappointment was that the women’s bath was smaller compared to the men’s, but this is an Accommodation that will be at the top of our list next time we stay in Kobe. We are planning to stay at the Kyoto Kiyomizu location next month.

The Room was clean and well maintained. Security felt strong and reassuring, as access to the floor is restricted without a Room key for that floor. The location was convenient, with easy access from the station and plenty of nearby convenience stores. At the end of my stay, the toilet became clogged and wouldn’t flush when I was leaving; when I informed them at checkout, they both thanked me for letting them know and apologized for the inconvenience, which reflected very polite service.

Every year, I stay near Sannomiya, where the Port Liner station is, for a live show at the Portopia Hotel. The area around Sannomiya Station felt like a maze due to redevelopment, but this Hotel was in an easy-to-find location, which really helped. Since I have the Hotel app, I was able to use the self check-in machine as well, and everything went smoothly. Breakfast had a great reputation and met my expectations—there was a wide variety of dishes and it leaned more toward Japanese-style options. For me, it was perfect because I prefer not to have anything too heavy in the morning. The Akashiyaki was also delicious. There was just one disappointing thing. It wasn’t about the Hotel itself, but after midnight (past 12:00 a.m.), someone was running around in the hallway and repeatedly slamming doors. It was extremely inconsiderate, but there wasn’t much I could do since I couldn’t exactly confront them. Other than that, it was quiet and comfortable. I hope to stay again next time. To the staff who work late into the night—thank you for your hard work. Thank you very much.

I often use this Hotel for day-use stays.\nTrue to its name, Spa Vintage, the Facility interiors are stylish and refined. The authentic sauna and cold plunge pool are also excellent, leaving both body and mind refreshed.\nI also love that they regularly offer löyly sessions.\nThe restaurant is highly recommended as well, with a superb location where you can enjoy Kobe’s night views.

I had been wanting to stay here whenever I visited Kobe, drawn by the breakfast. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, with a great selection not only of bread and sweets but also sausages, omelets, beef stew, and more. The room was spacious and clean, and I was able to relax comfortably.

Thank you for having me again after a long time. The renovated Room was wonderful. Even a woman traveling alone can stay here with peace of mind. The front desk staff member was a lovely woman with a great smile. The parking staff are always courteous, and the cleaning staff in the morning also greet everyone cheerfully. There was just one thing that concerned me... I noticed some dirt on the base/side of the toilet bowl (below the toilet seat). It’s easy to see when soaking in the bathtub. I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

Three of us stayed here as friends. We made a Reservation for the executive floor, so all three of us had spacious beds and a large Room. There were many perks, and we were able to fully enjoy our time. The large public bath also helped us relax both physically and mentally. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and it wasn’t crowded, so we could enjoy it at a leisurely pace. When we visit Kobe again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

The website says it is a 5-minute walk from the “West Exit” of JR Sannomiya Station, but Sannomiya has many lines and can be confusing for first-time visitors. I was traveling via JR, and I think it may be easier to exit from the JR Central Exit, go out to Ikuta Shinmichi, and head toward Motomachi (this is the route I used between the station and the Hotel afterward). The JR Sannomiya West Exit is hard to find unless you go down from the platform, and getting to the Hotel through the complex area under the tracks was difficult to follow even with a map app. The Hotel staff were very kind and made my stay comfortable. The coffee service was much appreciated.
